This study conducted a awareness survey of librarians by type of library. analyzed the survey results to present the rationale for establishing policies for the collaborative preservation and effective use of library materials. As a result of the analysis, the general awareness of the librarians about the collaborative preservation archive was high regardless of the characteristics of each type of library. the regional Central library was suitable as the main body of the collaborative preservation operation at the regional level.

The purpose of this study is to seek the characteristics of Jaryokwan m Korea and suggest the direction of the development for the future, through the analysis of the work process for Record Center(Jaryokwan) regulated in the Law of Records and Archives Management(the Law). According tn the Law, Jaryokwan is supposed to cover the areas of the management of semi-current records, government publications, books, and other records. The analysis of the Law shows that Korean Jaryokwan has the characteristics of divisional management of the semi-current records of governments, pursuing the integrated records and archives management systems, tightening the control function from the current-records stage, emphasizing the protection of evidences and security, contribution to the decentralizing storage of archives and simplifying the access to semi-current records for promoting it's usage. For the future development of Jaryokwan in Korea, this study suggests the imminent needs of the development of ideal model for Korean Jaryokwan, the legal enforcement of posting an Archivist the more detailed regulation, procedures and methods of work, the close collaboration with Library and Information Science, the pursuit of developing as a regional information center, increasing the flexibility of establishing Jaryokwan.

One of the famous Korean verses, Sijo 'In hemp clothes in winter(삼동에 베옷 입고)' is in thirty kinds of anthologies and ten kinds of Chinese writings. The major point in literary transmission of this work was the writer. The writer of this verse is Cho Sik(조식) in most anthologies. The writer of this work is recorded as Kil Jae(길재), Kim In-hoo(김인후), Kim Eung-jung(김응정), Lee Mong-gyu(이몽규) or Kim Ryung(김령) in Chinese writings. These people were famous for their studies and virtue, but they did not take office and retired from the world until they die. They were faithful to their principles serving their kings, though the country had wanted them to take a position in the government. Even though they did not in government service, they left some anecdotes and stories of lamentation after hearing their king's death. Because these stories and anecdotes can be easily connected with 'In hemp clothes in winter' which is about mourning over death of a king, they were known as the writer of this poem. Especially, their offsprings, juniors and followers often wrote these people as the writer of this work to represent their honor. Throughout the studies of several literary documents, this poem is written by Kim Eung-Jung, who lived in Kangjin(강진) in Jeonla province(전라도) and did not take office in all his life. He made this poem when he had heard the King Myoungjong(명종)'s death. Various transmission of literary documents with the records about 'In hemp clothes in winter' have a significance that can show the aspects of noble men's acceptance and transmission of Sijo.

본 연구는 기초학문자료센터의 연구데이터를 후속연구자들이 효율적으로 이용하며 연구데이터의 재이용을 향상시키기 위한 시각화 서비스를 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 기초학문자료센터를 이용한 경험이 있는 연구자를 인터뷰하여 현재 기초학문자료센터의 미비점과 개선점을 파악하고, 시각화가 필요한 부분에 대한 의견을 수집하였다. 조사 결과, 기초학문자료센터에서 제공하는 연구성과물이 양적으로 부족하며, 통합검색을 제외한 연구과제 검색, 연구성과물유형별 검색, 연구분야분류별 검색은 불필요하고, 추천검색어가 보완될 필요가 있었다.

This is a comparative study on the characteristics of excavated soils, which is proceeded using soil strength parameter by literature, geotechnical investigation, standard penetration test by drilling, and downhole test by borehole at six sites in urban areas. The results of these site surveys are used as basic data for the evaluation and development of prediction of ground subsidence risk. Geotechnical properties are estimated with the result of standard penetration test-N value and literature. The dynamic geotechnical characteristics are also estimated with top-down seismic exploration at borehole.

This study used content analysis to examine research methods and trends of the user study articles from 1991 to 2003. Analysis measured research subjects, research method, data collection methods, data analysis methods, hypotheses. The average yearly papers in the case of scholarly journal - 2.8 pieces. The year published the largest number of papers is 2001. The order of the number of papers information behavior, user study, user interface, user education, OPAC use. Used research methods are literature search and survey research, data analysis methods are $X^2$, correlation and T-test.

This study aims to bound the preliminary material for the disabled to provide personalized information systematically and effectively. In order to carry out this study, reference research and survey are conducted the disabled, protector, professional, researcher and teacher. The result, disabled and the persons involved in primary source of disability was a portal site. Critical information types were job board, mobile access to (traffic) information on the information, and medical institutions and so on. Also, Able-bodied compared to the importance of information for disabled people was low and acquisition of data feel it is hard and availability of critical information types, depending on the types of disability and acquisition the difference appeared.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the gathering channel of cited references and the behavior of researchers in the field of library and information science. The survey by questionnaire was used to collect data for the study and the SPSS program was used for the statistical analysis such as correlation analysis and trend analysis by descriptive statistics. The main results of this study are so follows : - The hypothesis suggested for the study was proved to be true. - There was no statistically significant correlation between the research experience or the number of published papers and gathering channel of cited references. - Most of the researchers responded favorably to the exchange of informations among researchers includingsource materials and details of ongoing researches.

본 연구는 국내 학술지의 표준화된 학술지 식별코드 체계인 KOJIC(KOrean Journal Identification Code)를 개발하는 것이 목적이다. 이 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 전통적인 자료식별 번호체계, 주요 국가서지번호, 그리고 국제적 또는 국가적 자료식별코드체계의 구조를 조사 분석한 다음, 유일성, 간편성, 조기성, 국제성, 그리고 확정성을 갖춘 KOJIC을 개발하였다. 이것은 6 자리의 알파벳 영문자와 숫자로 구성되는 코드이며, 한 개의 체크기호를 포함하고 있다.
