As a type of humanities discipline, information user studies tend to have influence and applicability on the related research fields. However, research trends and status of the user studies in Korea have not been extensively explored and thus resulted in limited sharing of the research outcomes. In this research, all papers related to the information user studies were selected from 5,392 articles reported in the five Korean Library and Information Science Journals. The chosen papers were classified according to the subject categories then qualitatively analyzed in terms of research productivity and trends. Library was the main theme of the information user studies. A number of suggestions were generated to apply the information user studies outcomes in solving academic as well as wider societal problems.

This study analyzed humanities and social science (HSS) journals of KCI to examine the multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity in the general and miscellaneous fields (hereinafter referred to as 'GM fields'), The multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity identified in this study will be a foundation to improve classification of KCI journals in GM fields. Each journal's multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity were measured by journal-level entropy and document-level entropy, respectively, in the citation relationships. According to the analysis, GM field journals have wide ranges of multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity. To improve classification quality of journals in GM fields, the general humanities should be considered as a new classification class for the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary journals in the humanities. Furthermore, this study proposes a strategy to reclassify GM field journals of HSS according to their multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity.

Korean construction industry is facing downtime mood and need more productivity. In order to successfully accomplish the construction project with more productivity, systematic and reasonable schedule management techniques should be developed and utilized. Therefore, in this study, first, a current status of the schedule management in the construction site is identified and the improvements in the schedule management are suggested. And, the effective schedule management technique in the construction site is proposed based on the in-site experience of the researcher. In order to find solutions, survey questionnaires designed to measure the understanding of process management and measure perception of the importance of schedule management. Total twenty nine field engineers who are performing schedule management of construction project at domestic civil engineering construction site were participated in the survey, and In-depth interviews were conducted. Eleven construction sites are inspected. Finally, a simple and effective schedule management technique including from WSB classification to schedule analysis, performance management, and performance improvement is proposed based on the inspection of current status of schedule management in civil engineering construction site.

This study aims to identify the problems of the records management of the foothold national university related university-industry collaboration. For these purpose, the study conducted a literature survey. Moreover, this study compared and analyzed the content of university archives and university-industry collaboration web sites. In addition, we gained the materials from the national archives in Korea thorough a request of information disclosure. It was found that problems and improvements in terms of institutional and achievement management. Consequently, based on the analysis, cooperation framework between university archives and university-industry collaboration was developed. With the proposed system, the academic utilization of university-industry collaboration records can be facilitated.

The Camellia japonica vegetation in the Korean Peninsula was investigated by the methology of the Z-M school. The synthesis table of Camellion japonicae were arranged for association classification from 263 quadrats. The vegetation of Camellia japonica forest, classfied as an alliance includes nine new associations : Camellietum japonicae typicum Jin et Kim 2005, Machilo thunbergii-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Pino thunbergii-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Castanopo cuspidatae var. sieboldii-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Lito japonicae-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Castnnopo cuspidatae var. thunbergii-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Querco acutae-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Neolito sericae-Camellietum japonicae Jin et Kim 2005, Cinnamomo japonicae-Camellietum Japonirae Jin et Kim 2005.

This paper introduces a study on the development of environment assessment technique and biodiversity management system for stream ecosystems and their application to Korean streams. Based on comprehensive field investigations from a series of streams of Bukhangang (North Han River) system as well as on long-term field survey and bibliographic data from streams throughout South Korea, schemes for environmental and biodiversity research of stream ecosystems aye reviewed; types of major environmental damages in Korean streams are classified; a rapid assessment technique for nature quality of stream ecosystems is presented; and a list of environmental and biotic factors for the use of GIS-based biodiversity management system in stream ecosystems is provided. The biodiveysity management system, which is based on ArcView and GEUS programs, is applied to Gapyeong Creek, a typical mid-size stream in Korea.

Although a few recent taxonomic studies focusing on infraspecific taxa in each species of Isodon have been reported, a detailed taxonomic revision of the Korean Isodon taxa has yet to be performed. We investigated the morphological characters of Korean Isodon based on approximately 600 herbarium sheets from major herbaria in Korea and Japan. We identified characters which distinguish seven Korean Isodon taxa and created a key to Korean Isodon based on the results from this study and on recent studies of the Korean Isodon taxa. The following unique characters for several taxa were recognized: 1) dense non-glandular hairs in stems for I. inflexus var. canescens (over 70 ea/mm on one side of the stem), 2) dense glandular hairs on the abaxial surface of the leaf for I. serra (over $40ea/mm^2$), 3) protruding pistils and stamens from the corolla with the length of the protruding part longer than that of the lower lobe of corolla for I. japonicus, and 4) the presence of non-glandular hairs on the entire surface of the fruit of I. inflexus var. microphyllus. Based on this study, we recognized that there are four species, two varieties, and one forma of Isodon taxa in Korea.

Twelve species of subfamily Leuciscinae from Korea are reviewed and keys to species and genera are provided. The species include Tribolodon hakonensis, T. branti, Phoxinus phoxinus, Moroco oxycephalus, M. steindachneri, M. keumgang, M. semotilus, Zacco platypus, Z. temminckii, Opsariichthys uncirostris amurensis, Aphyocypris chinensis and Squaliobarbus curriculus. In the present study M. lagowskii and O. bidens recorded previously in Korea have to be classified to M. steindachneri and O.u.amurensis based on several characters such as caudal peduncle depth, their distributions and lateral line scales, etc. A. chinensis from Korea is easily distinguished from that of mainland China in head length and caudal peduncle length. The skull and weberian apparatus of M. keumgang, endemir to Korea are described and compared with the other species of this subfamily. The diploid chromosome number of 9 species has three patterns: 2n=50 (T. hakonensis, P. phoxinus, M. oxycephalus, M. steindachneri and M. keumgang), 2n=48(Z. platypus, Z. temminckii and A. chinensis), 2n=76 (O. u. amurensis). Polyploidization or intraspecific polymorphism of chromosome was not observed in any species studied. Both species of P. phoxinus and A. chinensis are shown to be electrophoretically distinct from other taxa examined. The genera of subfamily Leuciscinae in Korea are represented by three possible groups: 1) Zacco-Opsariichthys-Tribolodon-Phoxinus-Morco, 2) Aphyocypris, and 3) Squaliobarbus.

The purpose of this study was to find out the subjective cognition-patterns of school aged children with borderline intelligence function to the School using Q Methodology. Q-sample was included 21 statements obtained from literatures and in-depth interviews with 4 specialist & 4 children with borderline intelligence function. P-sample was consisted through the consent of 18 children with borderline intelligence function and their parents. The 21 selected Q-statements were classified into a normal distribution using a 5 point scale. The collected data analyzed using a Quanl PC program. This study found out two subjective cognition-patterns of school aged children with borderline intelligence function to the school. Two types were 'participatory & dependent type', and 'onlooking & atrophic type'. This research finding can be used to make clear understanding on diverse voices of school aged children with borderline intelligence function to the School. And this result will attribute to mediations of educational welfare practice for maintaining a safe & healthy learning environment.

In this study, we expected the perceived difference of job calling and decent jobs between recent generation and baby-boomer and eco baby-boomer generation. Understanding perceptions of jobs by current generation that are perceived as lifetime jobs rather than lifetime workplace will make some valuable contributions to future job research and policy. The aim of the study was to examine the subjective perception of decent jobs among university students who are ready to go to labor market. By using Q methodology, we extracted 291 Q statements and 47 Q samples. In addition, 31 subjects classified Q samples into Q distributed tables. We used Ken-Q Analysis program. In the results, we found five types of perceived subjectiveness on the decent jobs, which were interests-seeking, balance-seeking, toward organization, power-seeking, and career development. These results confirm the diversity of perceptions of decent jobs. Then, we suggested policy implications to help the labor market entry based on the results.
