Purpose: This study was performed to investigate the influence of children's hospital nurses' job characteristics and job stress on turnover intention. Method: The subjects were 148 nurses who have been working in 6 children's hospitals located in G city. Measurement tools used for this study included job characteristics were created by Lee, and modified by Hong, and job stress tool developed Kim & Ku and modified by Choi. And the tools used for assessing turnover intention were created by Mobley and Becker and modified by Kim. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, the independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson' Correlation and regression on SPSS 21.0 program. Result: Job challenge and job fitness among the sub-areas of job characteristics, job stress and salary were identified as factors influencing turnover intention. These factors explained 36.5% of variance of turnover intention. Conclusion: In conclusion, this results can be used to help the children's hospitals creates an environment where nurses can enhance Job challenge and job fitness also, reduce job stress which lead to turnover rate and turnover intention.

The aim of this study was to develop a scale of the Korea citizen's intentionality out of their inborn ability and mission. To set up the concept of the above intentionality, there have been many academic and religious studies for reference in addition to the existing productivity, Korea elderly successful aging scale, and the scale of life qualities for review. The first 57 items for questionnaires were created thereafter. The final 27 items were confirmed, which were constantly modified by a professor of statistics and corresponding author in effective response and in removing the redundant items after the first items had been reduced to 44 preliminary items through the many an item-by-item discussions with pastors, theologians and social workers. A survey was conducted around the metropolitan area and 380 records were collected. Factor analysis to verify the validity of the measurement tool was completed, and showed that there were 6 sub-factors; "recognition of being", "autonomous life", "self-completion", "initiative", "acceptance", and "economic feasibility". In addition, reliability analysis was implemented and found to be reliable because the Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ value was 0.6 or more.

This study is to investigate on the influence of mental health and job satisfaction on perceived job stress of financial companies. The subjects of research were total 132 working at the financial company in T and J city Gangwon Province from September 20 to October 15, 2012. The survey instrument used was 43-item scale for evaluating financial worker KOSS and 18-item scale for mental health, 12-item scale for job satisfaction. Data was analyzed by using SPSS Win17.0 program, ANOVA, t-test, pearson's correlation coefficient, Multiple regression analysis. In a comparison of factors of Job stress and mental health demonstrated positive correlation and showed significantly. Job satisfaction demonstrated negative correlation and showed significantly. Also, for the financial workers solve the Job stress and support positive significant in there's job satisfaction, it need to nursing intercession to supply more better service and financial environment.
This study examined the effects of leisure satisfaction and hope on korean university adjustment of Chinese students. The data were collected from 361 chinese students among three universities located in Chungnam, Seoul and Incheon. Frequency, reliability, mean comparison, correlation, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, chinese students in the language training group was better in the Korean university adjustment than those in each group of undergraduate and graduate students. The chinese students who stayed less than six months in Korea were better in the Korean university adjustment than those who stayed more than 6 months. Second, there was the significant positive relationship among chinese students' korean university adjustment, leisure satisfaction, and hope. Third, leisure satisfaction and hope significantly influenced korean university adjustment of chinese students. Among them, leisure satisfaction influenced most. korean university adjustment.
The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of explanation in conjunction with gravity and density on students' alternative conceptions for floating and sinking phenomena. The subjects were 140 students of 11th grade in 4 classes of a high school located in Gangwon Province. We divided them in two groups; comparison and experiment. The students of experiment group learned explanation in confection with gravity and density. The students of comparison group learned explanation of pressure as represented in physics textbook. ANCOVAs (analysis of covariance) were conducted using the pretest as a covariance. In items related to characters of matter, 2 items are not significant and only 1 item has significant small effect size (Hedges' g=0.327). In the change of alternative conceptions, there is no meaningful gap between two group. However, in items related to relative weights between object and water, the all items have significant effect sizes (0.286~0.502). In addition, frequency of experiment group's alternative conceptions related to pressure decreases considerably, but comparison group does not. Therefore, the explanation in conjunction with gravity and density suggested in this study can decrease students' alternative conceptions related to floating and sinking phenomena and increase scientific conceptions.
This study examined differences among high, medium, and low achievers' motivation, self-regulation strategy, and learning style in an online gifted program. The sample included 788 middle and high school students who participated in the 3-months online gifted program. Participants volunteerly completed 60 questions on their motivation, self-regulation strategy use, and learning style. Multivariate analysis of variance(MANOVA) was conducted for data analysis using SPSS 19.0. The results of this study showed that (1) as levels of students' achievement increased, levels of intrinsic motivation increased as well; (2) statistically significant differences also existed on the levels of elaboration strategy, effort management, and time management strategy use among three levels of achievement and (3) no significant differences in students' learning style preference were found between competitive or cooperative learning style. To sum up, high achieving students' levels of intrinsic motivation, elaboration strategy, effort management strategy, and time management strategy use were the highest compared to medium and low achieving students.
Background: The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the formation of dental hygienist images based on the pathways of obtaining occupational information and to establish a foundation for the correct perception and positive promotion of the dental hygienist profession. Methods: A survey was distributed to 305 college preparatory students in the metropolitan area. The questionnaire consisted of 34 items, including general characteristics(3 items), pathway-related questions(3 items), dental hygienist image-related question(2 1items), application-related questions(2 items), and admission-related questions(5 items). The images of dental hygienists based on general characteristics, perception pathways, and admission were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test. Results: The survey results from all participants showed that the overall image of dental hygienists was 3.75 points. Personal image scored the highest at 4.18 points, while social image was the lowest at 3.20 points(p<0.05). The overall image of dental hygienists was higher for the 'online' group (3.88) compared to the 'offline' group, and statistically significant differences were observed among groups in overall, personal, and professional images(p<0.05). The overall image of dental hygienists was higher for those who learned offline (3.87), and the only significant difference between groups was seen in the personal image. When it came to admission, the 'admitted' students gave a higher overall score (4.00) compared to 'non-admitted' students (3.64), with significance found in all areas except for social image (p<0.05). Conclusion: It is believed that effective utilization of online pathways can inform more people about the importance and expertise of dental hygienists, thereby contributing to promoting oral health and enhancing the perception of the profession. Properly valuing and educating about the role of dental hygienists through promotion and education can help improve the image of the profession.
The object of this study was 200 patients who had been treated in the Oriental Medical Hospital at Dong Eui Medical Center during 9 months from Jan. 1999 to sept. 1999. We proceeded the judgment of Sasang Constitution according to 'Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution Classification (I)', and 'Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution Classification II(QSCCII)' and the diagnosis by a medical specialist. The following conclusion were made in comparison with Sasang Constitution and Questionnaire. 1. We selected the 84 subjects what had the statistical value out of the 196 subjects('Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution Classification (I)' had the 71 subjects and 'Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution Classification II(QSCCII)', had the 121 subjects). And we selected again the 73 subjects('Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution Classification (I)', had the 33 subjects and 'Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution Classification II (QSCC II)' had the 40 subjects) out of the 84 subjects, because it had a repeated subjects. 2. We made the Questionnaire what has the 85 subjects, including the subjects what was approved its statistical value by 'A CLINICAL STUDY OF THE JUDGMENT OF SASANG CONSTITUTION ACCORDING TO QUESTIONNAIRE' and 'A CLINICAL STUDY OF THE TYPE OF DISEASE AND SYMPTOM ACCORDING TO SASANG CONSTITUTION CLASSIFICATION'. As a result of judgment of Sasang Constitution between the clinical diagnosis by a medical specialist and the new Questionnaire, the diagnostic accuracy of new Questionnaire was 73.33%. The diagnostic accuracy of Soyang was low, the others was high. And the Taeyang was excepted.

The purpose of this study was to find a relationship between eating behavior, dietary self-efficacy and nutrition knowledge by comparing these items in elementary school students according to food service type. The survey was made through a questionnaire from 759 students in the 6th grade of elementary school in 39 Gangwon Province. The average score of eating behaviors according to food service type was highest for urban type, followed by agri-fishery type, and finally remote island and country type, for the questions asking about the application of nutrition knowledge and the frequency of eating out. The average score of nutrition knowledge according to food service type showed significant differences for the questions about eating snacks before going to sleep and weight increase as well as calorie comparisons between foods. For the correlation of eating behavior, dietary self-efficacy and nutrition knowledge, the agri-fishery type showed positive in all of the three items with significant differences. In the remote island and country type, there was a positive relationship between nutrition knowledge and dietary self-efficacy, and between eating behavior and dietary self-efficacy. However, there was no significant difference of correlation between nutrition knowledge and eating behavior. In order to confirm the predictable variables for eating behavior, a regression analysis was made by injecting variables in every stage with independent variables of dietary self-efficacy and nutrition knowledge, which showed a significant relationship with eating behavior. The results showed that, in the urban type, dietary self-efficacy and nutrition knowledge affected the eating behavior and, in the agriculture type and the remote island and country type, only dietary self-efficacy affected the eating behavior.

This study was based on the analysis of earth and environmental science items in PISA 2000 data. The purpose of this study was to identify i) gender differences in scientific literacy, ii) item characteristics that favored either female or male, and iii) misconceptions that 15-years-old Korean students have in the field of earth and environmental science. The results revealed significant gender differences. Overall, male students demonstrated higher level of achievement than female students. On the other hand, amongst high ability students, female students outperformed male students in open-constructed items. Female students tended to score higher on items that required long answers or items related to scientific processes, whereas male students outperformed female students in science knowledge or items that required data interpretation. The study also revealed that a majority of Korean students had misconceptions in fundamental earth and environmental science knowledge, such as the direction of earth's axis and equator, and the causes of Greenhouse Effect.
