The Effects of Question-Creation Training on Metacognition, Self-efficacy and Question Levels (문제생성훈련 수업이 중학생의 메타인지와 자기효능감 및 문제 수준에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the instruction with question-creation training, compared with traditional science instructions. The instruction with question-creation training is to give students chances to make questions by themselves based on what they learned before the end of the classes. The four effects of the instruction were studied: students' achievement, metacognition, self-efficacy, and the level of the questions created by the students according to different proficiency levels. Research data was gathered from 65 second grade students at a middle school in Busan. The comparative group was instructed in traditional lecture-type teaching method. The experimental group was instructed with questioncreation training. Students in the experimental group were asked to make 3 questions by themselves and then, to solve their peers' questions about 15 minutes before the end of the classes. Both groups were divided into 3 groups by proficiency level according to the results of last semester's science test. Before the research, a metacognition test and a self-efficacy test were conducted. After the research, an achievement test, a question level test, a metacognition test, and a self-efficacy test were conducted and analyzed by t-test. The research data for question level was analyzed by one-way ANCOVA. The results of this study revealed that question-creation training has a positive effect on student's achievement, metacognition, and self-efficiency. It also showed most of the students have gained an ability to make higher-level questions regardless of their proficiency level due to the increased number of students who made higher-level questions. It also showed that most of the students could gain an ability to make higher-level questions regardless of their proficiency level from the fact that the number of students who made higher-level questions increased in every proficiency level.

Effects of Elderly problem drinking DB Information on suicidal thoughts. Focusing on the mediating effect of depression and self-esteem (노인의 문제음주 DB 정보가 자살생각에 미치는 영향 : 우울과 자아존중감의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • In this study, 8th Korea Welfare Panel data surveys utilizing 65 years age or older, problem drinking analyzed the impact on suicidal thoughts as a medium for depression and self-esteem. In the main analysis, First, Problem drinking appears to influence the level of statistically significant positive (+) of suicidal thoughts. Second, Depression was found to mediate the relationship between the full level of problem drinking and suicidal thoughts. Third, Problem drinking was found not appear to be significant influence on self-esteem is not the mediating effect of self-esteem. However, the higher level of problem drinking, the lower level of self-esteem, through the sign of regression coefficient is negative (-) potential of the relationship was confirmed. These results suggest that more systematic research is necessary for the elderly suicide with preparing for the elderly of problem drinking.

The Effect of Substance Use Experience on the Problem Gambling among Adolescents: Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Irrational Gambling Beliefs (청소년의 물질사용경험이 문제도박에 미치는 영향: 비합리적 도박신념의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of substance use experience with adolescents on the problem gambling and to verify moderating effect of irrational gambling beliefs. A part of data from Korea Center on Gambling Problems, in which 1,500 adolescents participated was analyzed. The research findings were as follows. First, among the demographics factors, sex, monthly allowance, among the independent variable, substance use experience and irrational gambling beliefs showed significant difference on problem gambling. Second, substance use experience and irrational gambling beliefs tended to increase problem gambling. Third, the interaction of substance use experience and irrational gambling beliefs moderated the relationship between substance use experience and problem gambling. Based on these results, this study discussed practical measures to manage substance use and to prevent problem gambling among adolescents.

  • e-Learning 교육관리시스템은 다양한 교육 정보와 평가를 바탕으로 빠르게 확산되고 있다. 학습자의 학습 동기와 평가 성취도를 높이기 위한 연구와 기술들이 많이 적용되었다. 그러나 대부분의 교육관리시스템은 동일한 학습 내용을 일방적으로 제공하며, 학습 영역에 맞는 난이도별 문제를 추출해 제공하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습자의 사전진단평가와 설문조사를 바탕으로 하여 수준을 결정하고, 그에 따른 학습 영역의 내용과 문제를 난이도별 문항수를 적용, 추출하여 학습 동기와 학습 성취도를 극대화할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 본 연구의 시스템은 학습자 수준에 따른 난이도별 문항수 비율을 비례하게 적용하여 흥미도를 최대화하여, 학습 내용과 문제를 재사용하여 피드백 학습을 할 수 있도록 하였다.

대학수학에서 문제해결지도

  • 수학교육에서 학생들이 학습을 통하여 습득하여할 중요한 주제는 수학 지식과 수학을 다루는 인지적 조작 기술일 것이다. 특히 수학지식과 지식의 활용은 문제해결을 통한 학습에서 의미 있게 학생에게 나타나며 이를 통하여 수학 학습 동기를 강화하고 수학의 가치를 느끼게 한다는 점에서 중요한 의의를 갖는다. 대학수준의 수학교육과정에서도 문제해결은 중요한 수학교육의 중심 수단으로서 목적으로서 선언되어 있지만 실제 수업에서 잘 다루고 있지 못하다. 문제해결 지도에 대한 접근 방식으로 1950년대의 문제해결전략을 다룬 Polya, 1990년대의 메타인지적 접근을 강조한 Schoenfeld 및 최근의 여러 연구자들의 활발한 연구가 이어지고 있다. 본 논문에서 대학 수준의 문제해결 수업의 접근 방법을 소개함으로 문제해결 수업을 구현할 수 있는 지식을 제공한다. 특히 Schoenfeld의 문제해결 수업 모델은 수학 교육의 교실 수업으로의 구현 측면에서 갖는 다양한 함의를 제시한다.

  • 최근 정보화 시대에 발맞추어 나가기 위해서는 학습자의 문제해결력을 함양하기 위한 능력을 기를 수 있는 교육이 이루어져야 한다. 학습과정에서 학습자 스스로 지식을 조작하고 문제를 해결할 수 있는 학습자중심의 자기 주도적(self-directed) 학습이 강조되고 있다. 이러한 학습을 위하여 웹 기반에서의 문제은행 시스템을 이용하여 자기 주도적 학습과 수준별 학습 평가가 가능하도록 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 시스템은 학습자가 스스로 필요한 문제를 출제하여 학습할 수 있으며, 문제출제 형식은 문제은행방식을 이용한 동적 출제방식을 사용하였다. 학습자가 학습 결과를 즉각적으로 확인하여 직접 피드백 할 수 있으며, 다시 풀어보기를 원하는 문제는 오답노트 기능을 통하여 복습할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 모의고사를 통한 결과분석에 따라 개인별 심화 및 보충학습을 통해 완전학습 목표에 도달할 수 있도록 하였다. 평가 시 한 과목의 편중을 막기 위하여 비율을 설정해놓았으며, 학습통계에서 평균과 자신의 성적을 비교함으로써 철저하게 자신의 위치를 파악할 수 있도록 하였다.

A Study on the Solving Proportion Problems of Mathematics Textbooks and Proportional Reasoning in 6th Graders (초등학교 6학년 학생들의 교과서 비례 문제 해결과 비례 추론에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is analysis of to investigate relation proportion problem of mathematics textbooks of 7th curriculum to proportional reasoning(relative thinking, unitizing, partitioning, ratio sense, quantitative and change, rational number) of Lamon's proposal at sixth grade students. For this study, I develop two test papers; one is for proportion problem of mathematics textbooks test paper and the other is for proportional reasoning test paper which is devided in 6 by Lamon. I test it with 2 group of sixth graders who lived in different region. After that I analysis their correlation. The result of this study is following. At proportion problem of mathematics textbooks test, the mean score is 68.7 point and the score of this test is lower than that of another regular tests. The percentage of correct answers is high if the problem can be solved by proportional expression and the expression is in constant proportion. But the percentage of correct answers is low, if it is hard to student to know that the problem can be expressed with proportional expression and the expression is not in constant proportion. At proportion reasoning test, the highest percentage of correct answers is 73.7% at ratio sense province and the lowest percentage of that is 16.2% at quantitative and change province between 6 province. The Pearson correlation analysis shows that proportion problem of mathematics textbooks test and proportion reasoning test has correlation in 5% significance level between them. It means that if a student can solve more proportion problem of mathematics textbooks then he can solve more proportional reasoning problem, and he have same ability in reverse order. In detail, the problem solving ability level difference between students are small if they met similar problem in mathematics text book, and if they didn't met similar problem before then the differences are getting bigger.

Assessing Cognitive Attributes in the 8th grade Geometry (중학교 2학년 기하에서의 인지 속성 평가)

  • This study identified what cognitive attributes are required of eighth graders to solve geometrical problems such as 'Recall,' 'Analyze,' 'Justify,' 'Synthesize/Integrate,' and 'Solve Non-routine Problems' by using the cognitive diagnostic theory. The five attributes are proved as the skills for solving the geometric problems. Many students have not fully mastered the attributes of 'Justify' and 'Synthesize/Integrate'. There was high correlation between these attributes. 'Analyze' best predicted the changes in the geometric achievement. And while students with high levels of geometrical achievement have mastered all the five attributes, those in the mid- and low-level range of performance have mastered fewer attributes.

A Case Study on the Students' Characteristics toward Mathematics with Problem Posing Activities (문제 만들기 활동과 학습자의 정의적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze mathematical the effects of problem posing activities on students' characteristics toward mathematics to encourage active learning. We will also examine various examples of the characteristics of the problems made by students with different mathematical characteristics. We chose one 6th grade group to conduct this research. From the results of this study, we obtained the following conclusions. First, problem posing activities are effective in improving students' mathematical interest and confidence, value recognition. Second, Students with different mathematical characteristics showed different results in problem posing activities. We confirmed the effectiveness of problem posing activities on students' positive characteristics of mathematics. In this regard, we were able to confirm examples of various problems that students made. In the future, we would like to propose generalization by conducting research on students of various school ages.

사양 - 겨울철 육계 사양관리 점검하기

  • 우리나라는 사계절이 있어 여름과 겨울은 계사의 단열 수준에 따라 환기량과 습도 공급의 균형을 어떻게 유지해 주느냐가 가장 큰 사양관리의 주요한 점이다. 특히 겨울철은 개방계사라도 온도유지를 위해서 계사를 완전히 밀폐된 상태에서 사육을 하기 때문에 형식은 모든 농장이 무창계사와 동일한 상태에서 관리가 이루어진다. 그런데 무창계사의 형태이긴 하지만 단열수준이 충분히 확보되지 않는 농장이 많기 때문에 여러 가지 문제점이 발생한다. 가장 문제되는 것은 호흡기 질병에 노출되는 것인데 이에 대한 대책도 함께 점검해보자. 계사단열보강 문제, 충분한 환기를 위한 열원확보와 홴 설비, 그리고 인원적으로 공급해야 하는 습도관리, 바닥 깔짚온도, 일령에 따라 적절하게 늘려주는 문제, 환기방법, 겨울철 육추관리, 마지막으로 호흡기 질병에 대한 대책도 알아보고자 한다.
