MPEG-7 based on XML represents various information of multimedia data's contents. and it support search and browsing by user's wants. But, MPEG-7 standard don't support retrieval method and Many XML Indexing is not compatible to retrieval MPEG-7 documents. So Much research activity and interest has emerged recently in retrieval MPEG-7 documents. In our paper, we suppose a hierarchical index based on MPEG-7 document's structural information, and review how to query processing based on high level feature description.

웹은 단순한 텍스트와 이미지의 저장소에서 서비스의 제공자로 진화하고 있다. 사용자들은 자신이 필요로 하는 서비스를 찾기 위해 웹 검색을 이용한다. 그러나, 현재의 검색 엔진은 주어진 질의어에 대해 모든 사람들에게 보편적으로 타당한 문서에 높은 우선 순위를 부여해 검색 결과의 상위에 위치시키기 때문에, 사용자의 관심과는 무관한 정보가 검색 결과의 상위에 나타나게 되는 단점이 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 사용자의 방문 내역을 사용자 프로파일에 저장하여, 이후 검색에서 사용자가 방문했던 웹 페이지들에 높은 우선 순위를 부여하여 검색 결과의 상위에 위치시키는 방식이 사용되고 있다. 기존의 사용자 프로파일은 단순 방문 페이지와 사용자가 실제 서비스를 제공받은 페이지에 대한 구별없이, 모든 검색 세션에 대해 동일한 방문 내역을 저장하고 있다. 그러나 이 경우, 잦은 방문 횟수를 가지나 실제 사용자가 서비스를 이용하지 않은 웹 페이지가 적은 방문 횟수를 가지나 실제 사용자가 서비스를 이용한 웹 페이지보다 높은 우선 순위를 갖게 될 수 있는 문제점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 필요로 하는 서비스를 웹에서 찾고자 할 때, 사용자가 과거에 이용했던 서비스 제공자들의 목록을 이용하여, 사용자 프로파일 기반 웹 서비스 검색의 정확도를 향상시키는 시스템을 설계하였다. 이를 위해 사용자가 웹 서핑 중 서비스를 이용했던 웹 페이지 정보를 서비스 제공자 목록에 저장하였다. 검색 엔진이 특정 질의어에 대해 제공하는 검색 결과는, 우선 사용자 프로파일을 이용해 과거에 자주 방문했던 웹 페이지가 높은 우선 순위를 갖도록 조정된 후, 서비스 제공자 목록을 이용해 과거에 사용자가 서비스를 이용했던 웹 페이지가 가장 높은 우선 순위를 갖도록 재조정된다. 사용자에게 제공되는 최종 검색 결과는 사용자의 과거의 방문 경향 및 실제 서비스 이용 경향을 모두 반영하게 된다.고려할 때 가장 효과적인 라우팅 프로토콜이라고 할 수 있다.iRNA 상의 의존관계를 분석할 수 있었다.수안보 등 지역에서 나타난다 이러한 이상대 주변에는 대개 온천이 발달되어 있었거나 새로 개발되어 있는 곳이다. 온천에 이용하고 있는 시추공의 자료는 배제하였으나 온천이응으로 직접적으로 영향을 받지 않은 시추공의 자료는 사용하였다 이러한 온천 주변 지역이라 하더라도 실제는 온천의 pumping 으로 인한 대류현상으로 주변 일대의 온도를 올려놓았기 때문에 비교적 높은 지열류량 값을 보인다. 한편 한반도 남동부 일대는 이번 추가된 자료에 의해 새로운 지열류량 분포 변화가 나타났다 강원 북부 오색온천지역 부근에서 높은 지열류량 분포를 보이며 또한 우리나라 대단층 중의 하나인 양산단층과 같은 방향으로 발달한 밀양단층, 모량단층, 동래단층 등 주변부로 NNE-SSW 방향의 지열류량 이상대가 발달한다. 이것으로 볼 때 지열류량은 지질구조와 무관하지 않음을 파악할 수 있다. 특히 이러한 단층대 주변은 지열수의 순환이 깊은 심도까지 가능하므로 이러한 대류현상으로 지표부근까지 높은 지온 전달이 되어 나타나는 것으로 판단된다.의 안정된 방사성표지효율을 보였다. $^{99m}Tc$-transferrin을 이용한 감염영상을 성공적으로 얻을 수 있었으며, $^{67}Ga$-citrate 영상과 비교하여 더 빠른 시간 안에 우수한 영상을 얻을 수 있었다. 그러므로 $^{99m}Tc$-transierrin이 감염 병소의 영상진단에 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.리를 정량화 하였다. 특히 선조체에서의 도파민 유리에 의한 수용체 결합능의 감소는 흡연에 의한 혈중 니코틴의 축적 농도와 양의 상관관계를 보였다(rho=0.9, p=0.04). 결론: $[^{11}C]raclopride$ PET을 이용하여 비

The purpose of this study is to develop an XML based GUI that can search for satellite image information which is converted to XML data format and stored in the database server on the web, and modify and reuse data. In order to implement these functions efficiently, we used a DOM interface of XML that increases the efficiency of accessing the document structure. We used HTML and Java script programming to facilitate this interface. The system was applied to the management system of satellite images in the Research Institute of SFC at Keio University. Our results confirmed the technical functionalities.

최근 소설 네트워크 서비스(Social Netwrok Services)를 활용한 소설 태깅 서비스에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행 중이다. 특히 태그 기술을 이용한 협력적 태깅 시스템(collaborative tagging system)은 북마크, 문서, 사진, 동영상과 같은 웹 자원을 조직화하고 공유할 수 있는 수단으로 제공하고 있다. 그러나 광고 홍보 목적을 가진 스패머들은 콘텐츠와 관련 없는 태그를 달아 놓아 검색 키워드와 무관한 결과 값이 검색되어 웹 검색 서비스를 이용하는 사용자들에게 불편을 주고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 콘텐츠와 태그의 연관성을 높이기 위해 태그에 일반 사용자가 유사도를 입력할 수 있는 추천 시스템을 적용하여 순위 조작 방지방법을 제안하였다.

This paper presents an efficient image stitching method using preprocessing in order to generate a super resolution image. Two-dimensional (2D) scanners are consistently used in various areas but they have limitations such as paper sizes and materials. To overcome these problem with low-cost, an efficient imaging stitching method is proposed for producing a super resolution panorama image. To scan a very large sized paper using mobile phones, a simple portable cradle which fixes height is employed producing an input image set. To improve matching performance, a preprocessing method is introduced before searching correspondences. Then alpha blending is applied to an input image set to produce a super resolution panorama image. The proposed method is faster and easier than the existing method which is employed by Open CV. Experiment results show that the proposed method is three times faster and performs better than the existing method.

기존 의료정보 시스템은 본질적으로 성격이 다른 텍스트 기반 정보와 의료 영상 정보를 HL7과 DICOM이라는 각기 다른 두 표준을 기반으로 다루어 왔다. 따라서 상이한 두 표준 상호간의 정보 교환의 필요성과 최근들어 인터넷을 통한 개방 시스템으로의 전환의 필요성이 증가되면서 이를 위한 적절한 대안이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이질적인 두 표준간의 데이터 교환과 통합을 위하여 XML을 활용하는 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 두 표준의 통합 DTD를 기반으로 XML 문서를 생성하고 통합 의료정보를 웹 상에서 검색, 저장할 수 있는 통합 의료정보 시스템을 구현하였다.

On an automated business document processing system maintaining financial data, errors on query based retrieval of numbers are critical to overall performance and usability of the system. Automatic spelling correction methods have been emerged and have played important role in development of information retrieval system. However scope of the methods was limited to the symbols, for example alphabetic letter strings, which can be reserved in the form of trainable templates or custom dictionary. On the other hand, numbers, a sequence of digits, are not the objects that can be reserved into a dictionary but a pure markov sequence. In this paper we proposed a new OCR model for spelling correction for numbers using the multiple streams and the context based correction on top of probabilistic information retrieval framework. We implemented the proposed error correction model as a sub-module and integrated into an existing automated invoice document processing system. We also presented the comparative test results that indicated significant enhancement of overall precision of the system by our model.

디지털 카메라 기술의 발전과 보급으로 공공건물의 보안 카메라부터 개인 휴대 단말기의 카메라까지 동영상 데이터를 수집할 수 있는 수단이 크게 늘었으며, 그 활용 또한 매우 일반화되었다. 동영상 데이터는 문서나 음성 등의 다른 데이터보다 훨씬 구체적이고 사실적인 정보를 포함하므로 과거의 기억을 정리하고 복원하기 위한 유용한 방법이 될 수 있다. 동영상 데이터의 증가와 함께 동영상 요약에 대한 연구가 최근에 활발히 진행되고 있는데, 이들 연구의 대부분은 하나의 동영상을 요약하고 분석하기 위한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 사무실에 여러 대의 카메라를 설치하여 데이터를 저장하며, 이렇게 수집된 동영상 데이터를 효과적으로 요약하고 검색하는 시스템을 구축한다. 동일한 이벤트를 여러 방향에서 바라보고, 그 상황을 가장 잘 설명한 카메라를 선택 할 수 있다는 점에서 멀티 카메라의 사용은 장점을 갖는다. 사전에 정의된 이벤트에 따라 전문가가 어노테이션을 부여하도록 하였으며, 전문가가 설정한 유틸리티에 따라 카메라 선택 및 요약이 이루어진다. 다양한 옵션에 따라 요약된 결과로 사용자 평가를 수행하였다.

The advanced medical information systems usually consist of loosely-coupled interaction of independent systems, such as HIS/RIS and PACS. To support easier information exchange between these systems and between hospitals, and to support new types of medical service such as teleradiology, it becomes essential to integrate separated medical information and allow them to be exchanged and retrieved through internet. This thesis proposes an integrated medical information system using XML. We analyzed HL7 and DICOM standard formats, and designed an integrated XML DTD. We extracted information from HL7 messages and DICOM files and generated XML document instances and XSL stylesheets based on the proposed XML DTD. We implemented the web interface for the integrated medical information system, which supports data sharing, information exchange and retrieval between two different standard formats. The proposed XML-based integrated medical information system will contribute to solve the problems of current medical information systems, by enabling integration of separated medical informations and by allowing data exchange and sharing through internet. The proposed system with XML is more robust than web-based medical information systems developed by using HTML, because XML itself provides more flexibility and extensibility than HTML.

As the Web technologies and wired/wireless network are improved and various new multimedia services are introduced recently, need for searching multimedia including video data has been much increasing, The previous approaches for multimedia retrieval, however, do not make use of the relationships among semantic concepts contained in multimedia contents in an efficient way and provide only restricted search results, This paper proposes a multimedia retrieval system exploiting semantic relevancy of multimedia contents based on a domain ontology, We show the effectiveness of the proposed system by experiments on a prototype system we have developed. The proposed multimedia retrieval system can extend a given search keyword based on the relationships among the semantic concepts in the ontology and can find a wide range of multimedia contents having semantic relevancy to the input keyword. It also presents the results categorized by the semantic meaning and relevancy to the keyword derived from the ontology. Independency of domain ontology with respect to metadata on the multimedia contents is preserved in the proposed system architecture.
