본 논문에서는 최근에 잦아지는 교통사고를 방지하기 위해 현재 교통시스템의 문제점을 인식하여 개선하고, 기존 교통 시스템을 지능화시킴으로써 보행자 안전을 제공하고자 기술적인 면을 추가하여 지능적 교통안전 시스템을 설계한다. 기존의 신호등과 횡단보도 대신 보행자와 운전자를 통제하는 바리케이트를 설치하였으며, 바리케이트 앞면에는 LED의 점등 카운터를 통해 교통 시스템을 구축하였다. 또한 진입 차량 속도를 측정하여 측정 속도 이상 초과 시 차량을 통제하는 속도 감응형 개폐시스템을 도입하였다. 본 논문은 지능적 교통 시스템을 도입하여 보행자 및 운전자가 무의식 속에 유발시키는 사고를 방지하고자 보완하였다.

This paper presents a rigorous comparison of the design characteristics of polarization-insensitive directional coupler (DC) and multimode interference (MMI) coupler based on rib type waveguides, by using longitudinal modal transmission-line theory (L-MTLT). It shows that the multimode mixing and interference property of MMI can be structurally designed through the continuous evolution of the two-mode coupling property of DC. It also compares and analyzes the coupling efficiency along with the coupling length and the wavelength between polarization-insensitive DC and MMI. From the design properties obtained, it demonstrates for the first time the integration of polarization-insensitive DC or MMI with a Bragg grating and evaluates precisely the filtering characteristics. The numerical results reveal that the DC, as long as it is designed to have the same coupling length for TE and TM modes, has better performance than the MMI in polarization-insensitive filtering behaviour. However, it shows that the MMI with much less coupling length than DC is preferred in the miniaturization of integrated devices.

This study was a quasi-experimental study conducted in ${\ulcorner}$Design of Home Life${\lrcorner}$ unit of high school Home Economics. The purposes of this study was to analyze the effects of gender equity instruction on gender equity consciousness of high school students, and to raise gender equity consciousness of students. The summarized results of this study were as follows; 1. After experiment. gender equality consciousness of experimental group was higher than that of comparison group in all four areas, that is, home life, school life, vocational life and socio-cultural life. So there was statistically significant differences in gender equity consciousness between two groups. 2. The gender equity consciousness of the experimental group was higher In post-test than pre-test, so there was statistically significant differences between pre-test and post-test. On the other hand, there was no statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test in the comparison group. 3. After experiment, the change-rate of the gender equality consciousness In the experimental group was higher than that of in the comparison group, so there was statistically significant differences between two groups in the change-rate. As results of this study, in the ${\ulcorner}$Design of Home Life${\lrcorner}$ unit of high school Home Economics, it was proved that the gender equity class was effective on raising the gender equality consciousness of high school students in all four areas of home life, school life, vocational life and socio-cultural life.

According to studies of many language education researchers including R. Ellis, a representative English education specialist, it is an effective and important method to improve the authenticity of English by learning a foreign language repeatedly in learner's actual situation. In this paper, we propose a foreign language learning service combined with context-awareness service, and develop foreign language learning contents which improves the authenticity of English learning based on the service. This approach is based on a study on digital education contents that helps learners to acquire a foreign language in an unconscious state in their real environment and a study to analyze the empirical characteristics of users based on real-time multi-sensed data.

The purpose of this study was to develope and implement a teaching learning process plan applied with portfolio assessment for 'housing and residential environment' section of Technology Home Economics in a middle school. The teaching learning process plan consisting of 8-session lessons had been developed and implemented according to the ADDIE model mixed with 6 portfolio-development stages. In the development stage, 19 activity materials(5 reading texts, 6 individual and 2 group activity sheets, and 3 subject activity sheets) and 27 teaching learning materials(8 sets of pictures & photos and 19 moving pictures) were developed for the 8-session lessons. The plans applied to 2 classes 74 students in the third grade of K middle school in Gyeonggi-do during May 16th-17th of June, 2011. The results from survey and portfolio showed that the 8-session lessons had overall achieved the general goal of the teaching learning process plan applied with portfolio assessment, which was to stimulate students in the class through working with portfolio elements of activity materials. The students evaluated the whole process of 8 lessons were adequate and helpful. Students also reported they highly accomplished the goal of each lesson and actively participated in the lesson. The 3 subject activity sheets as well as other materials in the portfolio were excellently done with the average of over 90% points. These results supported that a teaching learning process plan applied with portfolio assessment was a combined lesson with evaluation and also an alternative to qualitative evaluation over the whole units. This plan might apply to other parts of housing as well as various other areas.
