For wireless multimedia sensor network (WMSN), it is crucial to select appropriate channels to deliver multimedia data stream generated by image and voice sensors periodically or continuously. Although most of previous researches assume that fixed channels are used for wireless sensor networks, they causes limit to support various application areas. In this paper, we apply link-setup algorithms developed for wireless cognitive radio networks for searching common channels between two nodes without common control channels. We also show the algorithm causes serious performance degradation as the total number of used channels increases, and then propose a new link-setup algorithm to resolve the problem. Therefore, the proposed algorithm shows 30 % higher performance compared to existing algorithms.

최근 무선 LAN을 이용한 기술과 제품들이 활발히 출시되고, 이러한 무선환경에 관한 표준 또한 활발히 제정되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 기술의 발전과 함께 무선 LAN 환경에서의 보안문제가 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선 LAN의 표준인 IEEE 802.11에서 사용하고 있는 보안 모델인 WEP과 그 개선방안인 WEP2에 대하여 고찰하고 알려진 취약점 및 개선방안을 제안한다.

무선 인터넷 기술의 발전으로 e-commerce상의 거래 형태는 m-commerce의 영역으로 확장될 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 m-commerce에서 기존 e-commerce상의 정보를 사용하는 것이 중요한데 무선 인터넷을 위한 단말기는 특성상 작은 크기의 인터페이스를 가지고 있어 기존의 데스크탑 컴퓨터에서 표현되던 정보들을 그대로 무선 단말기에서 표현하기에는 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 현존하는 e-commerce상의 XML 상품정보들을 무선 인터넷 단말기인 PDA의 제한된 화면으로 변환하여 표현할 수 있는 효과적인 방법을 연구하고, 변환된 XML 문서를 PDA상에 효과적으로 디스플레이 할 수 있는 브라우저를 설계한다.

최근 이동 전화 단말기를 이용한 무선 통신 인구가 급증하고 있고, 이들은 무선 통신을 이용한 다양한 서비스를 요구하고 있다. 이런 서비스들 중 기존의 월드 와이드 웹과의 연결을 통한 서비스들도 요구되고 있다 이러한 서비스들을 제공하기 위해 여러 업체들이 포럼을 구성하여 무선 통신 망과 기존의 인터넷망을 연결하는 프로토콜인 Wireless Application Protocol(WAP)을 만들었다. 이 프로토콜을 이용하여 서비스를 제공하는 WAP 서버와 무선통신 단말기와의 연결하는데 있어 이를 담당하는 게이트웨이가 필요하다. 본 논문에서 WAP 프로토콜을 이용하여 이동 통신망과 인터넷망을 이용한 WAP 서버 사이에 브릿지 역할을 하는 게이트웨이를 설계하고 구현했다
