In this paper, the design and implementation of an automatic reference-citation-mark attachment system are introduced. The system automatically attaches a citation mark to the end of a sentence in a technical document if the corresponding statement has a high similarity to another statement in the same document; simultaneously, the corresponding bibliographic data is automatically created from the cited-document information. In accordance with functional specifications, a Web-based, online service model and the development of its prototype system are proposed. The developed system can help in the elimination of unexpected plagiarism issues, and will alleviate the burdens of reference citation and reference-list creation for technical writers.

The purpose of this study is to propose a personalized book recommendation system to promote the use of university libraries. In particular, unlike many recommended services that are based on existing users' preferences, this study proposes a method that derive evaluation metrics using individual users' book rental history and tendencies, which can be an effective alternative when users' preferences are not available. This study suggests models using two matrix decomposition methods: Singular Value Decomposition(SVD) and Stochastic Gradient Descent(SGD) that recommend books to users in a way that yields an expected preference score for books that have not yet been read by them. In addition, the model was implemented using a user-based collaborative filtering algorithm by referring to book rental history of other users that have high similarities with the target user. Finally, user evaluation was conducted for the three models using the derived evaluation metrics. Each of the three models recommended five books to users who can either accept or reject the recommendations as the way to evaluate the models.

본 연구에서 개발된 참고봉사 지원시스템은 도서관 안내정보시스템과 주제ㆍ토픽 전문가시스템으로 구성된다. 도서관 안내정보시스템은 도서관의 이용정보, 자료이용방법, 온라인목록의 사용방법 등에 관한 안내정보를 제공하는 시스템이다. 주제ㆍ토픽 전문가시스템은 정보사서가 가지고 있는 석유화학분야의 정보조사제공과 관련된 경험적 지식을 이용하여 관련 정보를 제공하는 전문가시스템이다. 본 연구에서 개발된 참고봉사 지원시스템은 IBM 호환기종의 개인용 컴퓨터(IBM PC AT 286 이상)에서 운영되며, 본 시스템의 개발언어로는 얘기보따리, 멀티미디어 메이커(Multimedia Maker), 1st-CLASS를 사용하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and discuss a newly-constructed metadata database system that facilitates the retrieval of faculty syllabi available on the Internet. This gateway system aims to provide users with one-stop access to syllabi posted by the faculty of the institutes of post-secondary education from all around the world. Several elements of the Dublin Core (DC) and other supplementary elements were used for cataloging the syllabi. The conceptual schema of all the selected elements of the syllabi was developed following the entity-relationship model. The metadata of the syllabi was then stored in a relational database system. Various searching and browsing interfaces were implemented to facilitate effective retrieval. The prototype, named as Gateway to Faculty Syllabi (GFS), is available at http:/Ais.skku.ac.kr/gfs/.

This study intends to design the bibliographic framework based on IFLA-FRBR model for television program materials and to evaluate this in terms of effectiveness of retrieval and usability of the system. The FRBR model supplies mote suitable bibliographic framework of audio-visual material which has a sufficient hierarchical relations and relative bibliographical records. The followings are research methods designed by this study; (1) The experimental metadata system named it FbCS based on FRBR was developed by using the entity-related database and composed of multi-layed and hierarchy. FbCS is developed through benchmarking of a case study for iMMix model in Netherlands based on FRBR. (2) To evaluate effectiveness of retrieval and usability of FbCS, this study made a experiment and survey by user groups of professionals.

지식검색은 방대한 지식정보 데이터를 바탕으로 사용자의 질문에 대한 답변을 검색하는 시스템이다. 이러한 사용자 참여로 구축된 지식정보는 잘못된 답변으로 인한 신뢰성 부족과 중복 답변 등의 문제점이 있어, 원하는 답변을 찾기 위해서는 지식검색에서 다수의 답변을 읽고 그 답변의 진위여부를 판단해야만 한다. 만일 정답에 포함되는 단어나 어구가 답변들에서 나타내는 통계적 특성을 활용하여 사용자가 원하는 답변을 제시할 수 있다면, 지식검색의 효용성과 신뢰성이 크게 향상될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 지식정보 데이터 분석을 통해 사용자의 질문의 유형을 단어, 목록, 도표, 글의 4가지 유형으로 분류하고, 각 분류에 대한 사용자 질의어의 답변을 요약하는 방식을 제안한다. 단어, 목록, 글 유형은 TF와 IDF, 어휘 간의 거리 정보를 통해서 중요 단어를 추출하여 각 유형에 적합한 형식의 답변을 사용자에게 제시한다. 도표형은 답변들에서 사용자의 의견 정보를 추출하여 의견 통계를 도표로서 제시한다.

FASCODE-EVAL1은 고객과 시스템간의 의상 추천 대화 문맥과 해당 문맥의 요구사항을 고려한 의상셋 추천 목록으로 구성된다. 의상셋 추천 목록은 3개의 의상셋 후보로 구성되고, 문맥과 관련성이 높은 순서로 정렬된다. 해당 정렬을 찾는 방식으로 의상 추천 시스템 평가를 진행한다. 대화 문맥는 텍스트로 되어 있고, 의상 아이템은 텍스트로 구성된 자질 정보와 의상 이미지 정보로 구성된다. 본 논문은 FASCODE-EVAL 문제를 해결하기 위하여 트랜스포머 기반의 사전학습 언어모델을 이용하고, 텍스트 정보와 이미지 정보를 해당 언어모델에 통합하는 방법을 보여준다. FASCODE-EVAL 실험결과는 기존 공개된 결과들보다 우수한 성능을 보여준다.

최근에는 정보통신부에서 주관하는 '2000년도 지식정보연계 활용체제구축사업' 중 '과학기술종합정보시스템 구축' 사업의 일환으로 연구보고서 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 이 사업은 연구보고서과제목록, 본문, 목차 및 참고문헌에 대한 데이터베이스 구축을 주요내용으로 하였으며 한국과학기술정보연구원의 과학기술종합정보시스템을 통하여 서비스하고 있다.

본 연구에서 구축된 멀티미디어 도서관 정보시스템은 대학도서관을 기본 모형으로 하여 설계하였다. 이 시스템은 7 개의 모듈 즉 참고문헌제공 전문가시스템, 학술지 브라우징, 멀티미디어 데이타베이스, 텍스트 데이타베이스(온라인 열람목록, OPAC), 외부데이타베이스(온라인/CD-ROM/인터넷 데이터베이스), 도서관 이용안내, 시스템이용법으로 구성된다. 시스템의 구현 환경은 IBM 컴퓨터 466DX2/Dp을 사용하고 시스템 개발도구로는 하이퍼텍스트 기능이 첨가된 멀티미디어 저작 도구인 멀티미디어 툴북을 이용하고 이용자 인터페이스는 메뉴방식을 채택하였다.

정보시스템관리를 위한 위험분석시스템은 다수의 사용자가 각각의 역할과 임무에 따라 평가대상조직의 민감한 내공을 다루므로, 대상조직에 대한 역기능을 초래할 수 있다. 이에 위험분석시스템 자체의 보안을 위한 접근통제가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 위험분석시스템을 위한 RBAC정책 모델을 제안한다. 제시한 모델은 위험분석시스템의 특성을 고려하여 연구되었으며, 역할의 상속성에 의한 권한남용 방지를 위해 금지적접근목록(n-ACL)을 적용하였다.
