Tongue diagnosis is widely used in Oriental medicine and Western medicine. The reason is that human tongue provides various information. Analysis of the tongue can reveal various diseases and health information. Tongue diagnosis using mobile environment provides convenience for users. With this, it is possible to diagnose the disease according to the user anytime and anywhere. This can show a new paradigm of medical devices.

A new tongue examination model by using color analysis according to the taste division of tongue. The proposed system consists of a tongue image acquisition in a predefined template, taste region segmentation, color distribution analysis and abnormality decision of tongue by color analysis using Hue-Saturation histograms and the part of a mobile application service. We divided 4 basic taste(bitter, sweet, salty and sour) regions and performed color distribution analysis targeting each region under HSI(Hue Saturation Intensity) color model. To minimize the influence of illumination, the histograms of H and S components only except U are utilized. Using the analyzed results, the abnormality is discriminated by the criteria of the histogram range of normal tongues. Finally, a self tongue diagnosis system which can be used anytime and anywhere on mobile environment.

A mobile healthcare application is a healthcare software application designed to run on mobile devices such as smartphone and tablet computers. Mobile healthcare applications have enormous potential for monitoring and care everyday living of patient with chronic disease. In fact, mobile healthcare applications are found to be active in various fields. However, the development is rarely done in Korean medicine field. The aim of this study was to develop the healthcare application based on the tongue diagnosis. The process included planning, designing, programming, and revising. Through a pilot study, the application was found the improvement requirement, and to be usable in the real-life settings.

This paper examined how the millennial generation consumes mobile news through social networking sites with regards to user patterns, preference topics and news values, and whether news topics and news values may influence their overall mobile SNS news consumption and interactivity. The findings show that more than 2/3 of respondents consumed mobile SNS news at least once everyday for 30minutes to one-hour. Male millennials tended to use Facebook and Kakao-talk more than female. While the portal site was the most accessed channel for consuming mobile news, SNS was the second, more than the combined use of national daily papers, TV, and internet newspapers. The respondents' demographic characteristics and news topics also affect the form and degree of news interactivity. With regards to their preferences and prioritization of news values, millennials tend to perceive 'impact' and 'usefulness' as being most important, despite the differences of their demographic characteristics. They also preferred those news values most. There were significant differences in terms of preferred news topics according to the demographics' characteristics.

At present, the effect of oriental treatment system is proved in the west and using the data of tongue and pulse of body, the doctor can decide the patient's body state without Xray and CT data of large machines. In this paper, the patient's medical data is transmitted to the doctor and the real time decision algorithm is developed and so the doctor can decide the medical treatments. Using the mobile phone, the pulse data and bio data can be sent to the doctor and therefore the patients, who can't care in real time, can be treated in real time in the impossible medical treatment areas. Therefore in this paper, the oriental medical treatment system algorithm and artificial intelligence electrical needle simulation are processed for real time and checked and treated, so anyone can decide patient's state using mobile phone.
