Mobile Message Platform Supporting Dynamic Services based on Templates (템플릿에 기반한 동적인 서비스를 지원하는 모바일 메시지 플랫폼)

  • Although message services in mobile environments provide real-time transfer of various contents such as text, multimedia and location, they can't provide dynamic message services based on analysis of message contents. This paper proposes "message as a service" concept and presents the design methodology for a message platform. The message in this paper is composed of the data part and template part which is in charge of view and functional logic of contents. In addition, two parts of a message are transferred separately. If a terminal device stores message templates, message platform can transfer data part only and thus network traffic can be reduced. Besides an efficient network utilization, we can dynamically update message view and its functional logic by modifying templates.

  • In this paper, on the web, offline mobile learning content to reinforce the learning of the video frame-by-frame necessary for re-learning area to capture only the important areas. The frame of the captured image and the image in the form of advanced training time saved and also a description of the notes feature to store. The area needed for the capture area re-learning the learner to learner-centered custom systems can be applied. In order to capture the learning program, regardless of the configuration of the selected frame by frame in order to capture the user-centric storytelling-based learning can be applied. Capture the full effect of the system compared to learning and learner-centered learning time-saving reconstruction of the frame according to the customized learning to play a positive role in improving effectiveness.

  • 본 논문에서는 바코드와 QR 코드에 대해서 비교 및 활용을 나타내었다. 최근 모바일기기 사용 확대와 휴대 편리성으로 휴대폰의 편리성이 증가하면서 QR 코드의 사용이 대두되고 있다. 바코드는 1차원 코드로서 물류 및 판매정보관리시스템(POS)에서 널리 사용되었지만 정보량의 한계성을 가지고 있다. 이에 QR는 다층형 코드로서 바코드에 비해서 정보량과 정보의 종류에서 다양하게 이용될 수 있다. 또한 최근 휴대폰의 앱 기능의 활발한 이용으로 결제시스템, 명함, 웹, 이메일, 홍보, 멀티미디어 등 다양한 영역에서 QR 코드의 활용이 상당히 빈번하게 이용 될 것으로 사료한다.

Client-Centered Mobile Augmented Reality System for Virtual Building Simulation (가상 건축물 시뮬레이션을 위한 클라이언트 중심의 모바일 증강현실 시스템)

  • Recently augmented reality technology has been researched to view the virtual shape of buildings before construction or cultural heritages under recovery. Those researches used special devices or markers that are not applicable in long distanced outdoor environment. Also the server had to compute a lot of transformations for the location changes of virtual objects. This paper proposed a mobile augmented reality system that uses GPS and accelerometer sensors in order to compute the virtual object's locations without using markers. The server determines the position and orientation by comparing the GPS data obtained from the client with the predefined 3D object informations in the server. If the server sends the virtual object informations such as the position, orientation and matching information, then the client matches the virtual object on the screen of mobile camera phone. In addition, the client computes the transformations of location change detected by the accelerometer derived from the user's movement without additional connection to the server.

  • Asthma is a chronical disease which could be controled by constant management and the patients may lead their daily lives if they are properly supervised. South Korea is one of the most wired nations, and its penetration rate of smart phones will exceed 80% of entire population this year, so managing asthma and communicating with medical staffs with mobile applications, will be very reasonable solution. In this study, medical staffs, developers and UI/UX experts co-worked developed an Android-based application for asthma management. To tell the effectiveness and availability, we made asthma sufferers use this mobile application for more than six months. After six months we surveyed and interviewed the patients. We could find merits and demerits of the applications and we finally suggested new guidelines for version 2.0.

  • The purpose of this research paper is to develop Mobile application-based Nursing Process Programs on 'Nursing Diagnosis', 'Nursing Interventions' and 'Nursing Outcomes Classification' targeting nurses and nurse students. To achieve it, this paper uses 'standard classification-focused research data' on the basis of Nursing Diagnosis Classification established by NANDA (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association), NIC (Nursing Interventions Classification) and NOC (Nursing Outcomes Classification) mainly developed by Iowa State University. The existing research methods are difficult to be applied to patients, since such methods put a restriction on choosing, developing, and generalizing 'Nursing Process Programs' in clinical spheres. But, this research thesis focuses on developing guidelines applicable to any clinical experiences, with the use of the framework in mutual links with all the nursing diagnosisoutcomes- interventions. In this regard, the Korean version programs were developed and registered in App store in March. Thus, it is expected that these programs would be wildly-available as tools for nursing education.

  • In recent years, security accidents which are becoming the socially hot issue not only cause financial damages but also raise outflow of private information. Most of the accidents have been immediately caused by the software weakness. Moreover, it is difficult for software today to assure reliability because they exchange data across the internet. In order to solve the software weakness, developing the secure software is the most effective way than to strengthen the security system for external environments. Therefore, suggests that the coding guide has emerged as a major security issue to eliminate vulnerabilities in the coding stage for the prevention of security accidents. Developers or administrators effectively in order to use secure coding coding secure full set of security weaknesses organized structurally and must be managed. And the constant need to update new information, but the existing Secure Coding and Security weakness is organized structurally do not. In this paper, we will define and introduce the structured weakness for mobile applications by the surveys of existing secure coding and coding rules for code analysis tools in Java.

  • As mobile devices become multi-functional, and converge into a single platform, there is a strong need for a codec that is able to provide consistent quality for speech and music contents. MPEG-D USAC standardization activities started at the 82nd MPEG meeting with a CfP and approved Study on DIS at the 96th MPEG meeting. MPEG-D USAC is converged technology of AMR-WB+ and HE-AAC V2. Specifically, USAC utilizes three core codecs (AAC, ACELP, and TCX) for low frequency regions, SBR for high frequency regions, the MPEG Surround for stereo information, and window transition technology for smoothing transition between various core coder. USAC can provide consistent sound quality for both speech and music contents and can be applied to various applications such as multi-media download to mobile devices, digital radio, mobile TV and audio books.

  • While researches and studies on short distance wireless communications have been actively carried out, studies on many applications of short distance wireless communications focusing on user-oriented Mobile device are also in progress. Since Bluetooth has several advantages that existing short distance communication does not have, studies on standardization have been carried out focusing on SIG, and IEEE has also jointly studied on this. Bluetooth is a short distance wireless communication technology that can be usefully applied to various kinds of applications. In this regard, this thesis presents payment system using Bluetooth, out of several application technologies of Bluetooth. This payment system is based on the scenario in which secure piconet is formed focusing on the user, the user gets in the car, fill up the gas at the gas station using his own Mobile device and pay The secure payment system presented in this thesis is designed to complement the weakness of existing Bluetooth in terms of security and to secure several requirements of security required for payment using short distance wireless communication.

  • The Korean animation has enjoyed the brisk formation and establishment of its world-class infra for the last several years without unified titles or concepts, under the name of a national strategic project in the age of digital image. It also enjoys its new evaluation as digital animation that it's one of the greatest money making business in the non-education and frivolous culture and has the closest relations with the modern time. A great portion of popular image media has been taken by animation for the last 30 years. In this paper we propose a motion algorithm using an animation technology. It was developed for education purposed and accessible through the internet. For instance, in Cyber Clam Museum, 1000 gesture contents, the visual processes were used to design a screen with a realistic image and create an animation that makes possible show at 360 and every such transformation as translation, rotation, and scaling can be applied in the image interactively for the convenient and effective viewing.
