최근 스마트폰이 크게 활성화됨에 따라 스마트폰에서 이용할 수 있는 인터넷전화가 급부상하고 있다. 그러나 인터넷전화는 인터넷망을 이용하기 때문에 요금이 저렴한 반면에 보안이 취약한 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 도청방지를 위해 모바일 인터넷전화 시스템에 적합한 암호 알고리즘인 RSA, ECC 등을 비교 분석한다. 향후 모바일 인터넷전화 시스템 개발시 암호 알고리즘을 적용하는데 참고할 수 있다.

Currently the telephone service using Internet grows and the recent introduction of a smart phone is expected to accelerate the trend. In particular, considering the domestic situation that the wireless broadband (WiBro) system deployed over the nation, the telephone service over WiBro can be a solution toward its fast expansion. Unlike telephone service over a conventional telephone network or mobile network, however, internet telephone cannot guarantee it service quality, which can be severer in a wireless environment such as a WiBro network. Therefore, a more strict and systematic management for controlling the quality of internet telephone service over WiBro in a more efficient way. As the first step to establish the management system, this paper proposes a scheme to manage the quality of internet telephone service over WiBro and introduces a software developed for the purpose. The developed software is installed on a user terminal and facilitates efficient service quality management by measuring the quality of internet telephone service over WiBro in terms of VoIP metric, network metric, and wireless metric.

Internet phone (VoIP) services in Korea have achieved noticeable growth year after year since the service launching, and the growth still coninues. The market of mobile internet phone also expands sharply. Therefore, it is crucial to deploy networks which can support mobile internet phone services with excellent quality. For mobile internet phone services, it will be necessary to build and use networks with good mobility and high transmission rate. Current wireless networks for Internet services include 3G, Wi-Fi, and mobile WiMAX networks. 3G provides good mobility but lower transmission rate, whereas Wi-Fi exhibits excellent transmission rate but less mobility. Mobile WiMAX networks taking the merits of both, high mobility and transmission rate, are being deployed widely in recent years. This article examines the recent standardization efforts of WiMAX Forum for VoIP service in WiMAX networks.

본 논문에서는 모바일 인터넷으로 대표되는 제2차 IT혁명에서 세계 주도권을 노리고 있는 일본에 초점을 맞춘다. 특히 NTT DoCoMo의 i-mode 서비스, 즉$\ulcorner$휴대전화와 인터넷의 성공적 융합$\lrcorner$이라 할 수 있는 "모바일 인터넷"에 대한 분석과 성공전락 등을 통하여 향후 한국의 모바일 인터넷이 추구해야 할 방향성과 그 과제에 대하여 살펴보기로 한다.

The mobile internet telephony service rapidly grows according to the extending deployment of smartphones. Unlike telephony service over a conventional public switched telephone network (PSTN) or mobile network, internet telephony service cannot guarantee its service quality, which can be severer in a wireless environment. Therefore, a more strict and systematic quality management is required for successful settlement and popularization of mobile internet telephony service. Existing quality management scheme using a specific measurement equipment cannot measure all the time so that it performs late management. In order to overcome the problem, this paper develops a software that can be equipped on a user terminal and measures the service quality all the time. By using the developed software, all-time and user-activating service quality monitoring can be supported.

모바일 콘텐츠 시장의 성장세가 무서울 정도다 올해 1조 3000억원대의 시장규모를 보일 것으로 예상된다. 이러한 성장세의 가장 큰 요인으로는 무엇보다 이동전화 및 무선 인터넷 사용자가 급증한데다 모바일 콘텐츠 유통의 기본이라 할 수 있는 버추얼 머신이 내장되 있다는 점을 들수 있다. 이를 바탕으로 모바일게임·캐릭터·음성서비스 등을 제공하는 업체수 서비스 종류가 늘고 있다는 점도 시장 성장에 주도적 역할을 했다.

무선인터넷의 활성화와 더불어 모바일 전자상거래에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 모바일 전자상거래를 하기 위해서는 모바일 환경에 적합한 보안$\boxUl$인증 및 지불$\boxUl$결제 솔루션이 필요하며 이러한 기술은 기존 유선인터넷에서 사용하고있는 방식을 그대로 사용하기에는 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문에선 무선인터넷을 이용한 전자상거래에 안전하고 편리한 지불/결제를 위해 모바일 전자지갑(Mobile Wallet) 모듈의 설계와 이동전화단말기에서의 전자지갑 모듈 구현함에 대하여 소개한다. 모바일 전자지갑을 설계함에 있어 무선인터넷을 이용한 전자지갑 모듈의 동작 프로세스에 대해 기술하였으며, 단말기에 저장된 전자지갑 정보를 읽어와서 지불 및 배송에 필요한 정보에 대해 암호화와 전자서명을 수행하기 위한 전자지갑 용 WML Script의 설계와 동작 프로세스에 대해 설명한다. 또한 이동전화 단말기에 전자지갑 모듈을 구현함에 있어 오프라인 전자지갑 모듈의 정보 입력과 모바일 전자지갑을 이용한 무선 전자상거래 서비스에 대해 단말 UI(User Interface) 기반으로 구현사례를 설명한다.
