Design of Video Transmission System Connecting to Multiple Camera Modules (다중 카메라와 연동된 영상송신시스템 디자인)

  • 본 논문에서는 연결된 다양한 인터페이스를 갖는 비디오 카메라들 중에서 선택된 카메라의 영상을 통신망을 통해 다양한 다수의 외부 수신장치들에게 해당 영상을 전송하고 연결관리를 하는 영상송신시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 송신시스템은 외부 비디오 카메라들의 연결을 위한 컴포지트 인터페이스와 범용 USB 카메라를 위한 USB 인터페이스, 유무선 송수신 및 ARM 계열의 CPU 모듈, 그 외에 개발을 위한 몇몇 장치들을 연결할 수 있도록 구성된다. 통신망릉 통해 제안한 송신시스템에 접속된 외부 수신장치들은 개별 채널을 할당 받아 특정 카메라 모듈을 선택하여 해당 영상을 수신할 수 있으며, 제안하는 송신시스템은 이를 위해 연결된 다수의 외부 수신장치들과의 연결관리 및 해당 카메라 모듈의 영상을 송신관리 등과 같은 기능으로 구성된다.

  • The existing 2D fashion Design System have a many limitation for application because diagraming piece database construct was weak as the function of design based on diagraming piece was low level. This paper design and construct the basic diagraming piece database to fashion design needed and through develop module of database search and modify, the system can easily manage the diagraming piece data and can create competitive and efficient design.

  • Wooden houses are classified into Traditional, Modern, Platform, Timber framing types. The most popular type is Platform framing which is come from foreign culture. The foreign and Korean tree structure tend to be incompatible with Korean culture and don't fit well with modern lifestyle. In this study, it will analyze the design characteristics of the traditional and modern wooden house to solve these problems. The design characteristics will be contributed to the development of wooden architecture which is suitable for Korean architectural style and lifestyle The research consists of space analysis, plane analysis, structural system analysis, roof type analysis, and aesthetic analysis. From the analytical results the design characteristics of traditional Hanok and modern wood structure, we propose the modular elements and the inner and outer shapes of the Korean - style wooden house.

  • Consumers have paid attention to various functions of PC's nowadays from its efficiency in the past. This study set limits to adapted computers by consumer needs for their residence facilities and ubiquitous environment in our society. The purpose of this study is to suggest high potentialities of adapted computers and it's design for materializing house ubiquitous system. It has come out from analyzing PC market. The result is that Barebone PC, a kind of set PC, could be one of the most actual way for materializing house ubiquitous system. This study suggests many potentialities of Barebone PC which invites modular system. The existing Barebone PC is a kind of semimanufactures, however the new Barebone PC in this study is a expanded concept of modular system that connected to the area of the electric home appliances. This is inspected by analyzing the relation among potentialities and impotance of set PC design and module.

  • 객체지향 디자인 패턴은 아주 작은 재사용 구조로서 객체지향 방법론의 가장 큰 장점인 재사용성과 모듈성을 극대화시켜 실제 구현 과정에서 해결 방안으로 제시 가능한 것으로 이를 적용하면 시스템 개발은 물론 유지 보수에도 큰 효과가 있다. 순공학에서는 디자인 패턴을 이용하는 이점이 명확하지만, 소프트웨어 인공물들 즉, 디자인이나 코드 등에서 디자인 패턴의 사례를 발견하기 위해 사용하는 역공학 기술은 프로그램의 이해, 디자인을 코드로 변환하는 변환성, 코드의 질적 평가 등의 핵심 영역에서 유용하다. 본 논문은 Java 소스 코드를 AOL(Abstract Object Language)이라는 추상객체언어를 이용하여 클래스 특성 추출기 및 패턴 식별기라는 단계를 통해 구조적 디자인 패턴을 추출하는 프로세스에 대하여 기술한다.

Perception of Science High School Students on Modeling Activity (모델링 활동에 대한 과학고등학교 학생들의 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of science high school students for modeling module that contain scientists' thinking process. Modeling modules about 'gas diffusion', 'ion conductivity' and 'ion mobility' were applied to science high school students. Interview, lab report, and dialogue were analyzed to comprehend features of modeling module. Students who performed modeling modules perceived that modeling modules were appropriate to experience scientists' research process. Modeling modules were kind of activity to raise 'muscle of thinking', to be needed 'new views' and 'various representations', and to contain 'designing laboratory process'. Therefore, the development of various modeling modules is needed in the near future.

A Study on Channel 4's Station Identification: focused on 'Modular Typography'

  • British TV Channel 4 is one of the famous TV Channel in the world. Its station ID has also played a leading role in the developments of Motion Graphics including station IDs. This station ID's main visual design concept is its name and an iconic logo '4' at the same time. The first channel 4 station ID was designed by using modular typography to construct the iconic '4'. Modular typography is a technique of creating letters with similar elements. Channel 4's station ID was constructed from coloured polygons. The polygons split and converge at the same point in 3D space. Modularity in Channel 4's station ID is evidenced by the similar units of polygons. After the first station ID, Channel 4 was re-branded. Eventhough the station IDs which followed did not use coloured and geometrical polygons, modularity is seen in most of the station IDs especially between 2004 - 2011. In these station IDs, the iconic '4' is formed from similar natural and environmental objects like rocks, buildings, lights etc. In this analysis paper, there is a visual narrative on the history of Channel 4, the concept of modular typography in the original station ID and the application of modular typography in other Channel 4's station IDs.

  • 진화 하드웨어(Evolvable Hardware: EHW)는 환경에 적응하여 스스로 하드웨어 구성을 변경할 수 있는 하드웨어로서 최근에 많은 관심과 함께 연구가 이뤄지고 있다. 하지만, 하드웨어의 복잡도가 증가할수록 진화를 위해 탐색해야 하는 해공간의 크기가 기하급수적으로 증가하기 때문에 아직까지 복잡한 하드웨어에 대해서는 좋은 활용방안을 찾지 못하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 이런 복잡한 하드웨어를 모듈별로 나눠서 진화시키는 방법을 제시하여 좀더 효율적인 진화의 가능성을 보인다. 기존에 주로 사용되던 회로 진화 디자인과 이를 모듈별로 나눠서 진화하는 방식을 실험을 통해 비교하고, 효과적으로 진화시간을 단축할 수 있음을 보인다.

  • This study is clarifying the relationship between domain and in-house design based on the perspective on organization and task of a design organization. Accordingly, the growth and expansion of organization requires a new strategy in respect of design sector and business domain. It is a guideline for developing advanced business domain and design management in the limited strategic system of design department to analyze relatively the structural model of design, and to seek for any feasibility of strategic application. And this study comes to be basic data for defining the relationship between domain and in-house design. Consequently, both of strategic design management to back up the task of design organization and the module to support the design planning should be flexibly systemized.
