An Object Extraction Technique for Object Reusability Improvement based on Legacy System Interface (객체 재사용성 향상을 위한 레거시 시스템 인터페이스 기반 객체추출 기법)

  • This paper suggests a technique, TELOR(Technique of Object Extraction Based on Legacy System Interface for Improvement of Object Reusability) for reuse and reengineering by analyzing the Legacy System interface to distill the meaningful information from them and disassemble them into object units which are to be integrated into the next generation systems. The TELOR method consists of a 4 steps procedure: 1) the interface use case analysis step, 2) the interface object dividing step, 3) the object structure modeling step, and 4) the object model integration step. In step 1, the interface structure and information about the interaction between the user and the Legacy System are obtained. In step 2, the interface information is divided into semantic fields. In step 3, studies and models the structural and collaborative relationship among interface objects. Finally, in step 4, object model integration step, integrates the models and improves the integrated model at a higher level. The objects integration model created through TELOR provides a more efficient understanding of the Legacy System and how to apply it to next generation systems.

  • This study aimed to suggest the tasks to develop the Inclusive Education Model for Remote Islands by analyzing the characteristics of special needs education in remote islands of Okinawa, Japan and the current states of the implementation of special needs education in them. For these purposes, the survey using the Inclusive Education Assessment Tool (hereafter IEAT) was conducted to evaluate the special needs education system of remote islands of Okinawa and its results were analyzed through t-test. Finally, the tasks to develop the inclusive education model for remote islands by comparing and analyzing the results of this study with the tasks that were proposed in the Outcome Report on the Project to Build Inclusive Education System Model(2016) were suggested as follows: first, the expertise of special needs education should be guaranteed; second, the network among various professionals and organizations needs to be established; third, the awareness of disabilities needs to be promoted; fourth, the independence of students with disabilities needs to be improved; and finally equal opportunity should be guaranteed.

Study on the Dependence of Ultrasonic Phase Velocity on Porosity, Frequency and Propagation Angle in Cancellous Bone (해면질골에서 다공율, 주파수 및 전파각에 대한 초음파 위상속도의 의존성 연구)

  • In the present study, the dependence of ultrasonic phase velocity on porosity and frequency in cancellous bone was predicted using the Biot model and the modified Biot-Attenborough (MBA) model for propagation in fluid-saturated porous media. It was also compared with previously published measurements in human and bovine cancellous bones in vitro. It was shown that the phase velocity in cancellous bone decreased with increasing porosity and frequency The dependence of phase velocity on propagation angle in cancellous bone as predicted using the Schoenberg model together with the Biot model and tile MBA model which were modified to include the effect of angle. The theoretical models used in the present study advance our understanding of the interaction between ultrasound and cancellous bone and can be expected to be usefully employed for the diagnosis of osteoporosis.

Numerical Analysis of a Liquid Sheet Flow around a Simplified Sprinkler Head Using a CFD Model (CFD 모델을 이용한 단순 스프링클러 헤드 주위의 액막 유동해석)

  • The present study examined the free surface flow of a liquid sheet near a sprinkler head using a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model and considered the feasibility of the empirical model for predicting the initial spray characteristics of the sprinkler head through a comparison of the CFD results. The CFD calculation for a simplified sprinkler geometry considering the nozzle and deflector were performed using the commercially available CFD package, CFX 14.0 with the standard $k-{\varepsilon}$ turbulence model and theVolume of Fluid (VOF) method. The predicted velocity of the empirical model at the edge of deflector were in good agreement with that of the CFD model for the flat plate region but there was a certain discrepancy between the two models for the complex geometry region. The mean droplet diameter predicted by the empirical model differed significantly from the measured value of the real sprinkler head. On the other hand, the empirical model can be used to understand the mechanism of droplet formation near the sprinkler head and predict the initial spray characteristics for cases without experimental data.

  • The purpose of this study was to apply Keller's ARCS motivational model to the business culture lessons and to examine the effects on cultural knowledge, interest, awareness and attitude of university students. To accomplish this purpose, the teaching-learning method applying ARCS model for business culture was designed, aiming to improve all elements of learning motivation such as attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction. The experiment was conducted with two groups as follows; one experimental group that received instruction using ARCS model and the other comparison group that received traditional lecture instruction. Both the instruction using the ARCS model and the traditional lecture instruction was effective in increasing knowledge of culture. The instruction using the ARCS model was verified to improve interest in culture, understanding of others from other cultures, motivation to create culture, perception of importance of culture, and perception of necessity of culture education. But the traditional lecture instruction did not show statistically meaningful effects on cultural interest, awareness and attitude.

  • In our country security industry biz model analysis methodology fragmentary theory exists, but it is hard to find a comprehensive analysis methodology. Biz model analysis IT companies the external factors and internal factors to integrate the information gathered about the comprehensive analysis of the development of an information system are required. Symmetric RBAC Model that Takes the Separation of Duties and Role Hierarchies into Consideration (임무분리와 역할 계층구조를 고려한 대칭 RBAC 모델)

  • RBAC is accepted as a more advanced control method than existing DAC and MAC. Studies on the permission-role part of RBAC model are relatively insufficient compared with those on the user-role part, and researches on symmetric RBAC models to overcome this is also in an incipient stage. Therefore there is much difficulty in assigning permissions suitable for roles. This paper proposes an symmetric RBAC model that supplements the constraints on permission assignment set forth by previous studies. The proposed symmetric RBAC model reflects the conflicts of interests between roles and the sharing and integration of permissions on the assignment of permissions by presenting the constraints on permission assignment that take the separation of duties and role hierarchies into consideration. In addition, by expressing constraints prescribing prerequisite relations between dynamic permissions through AND/OR graphs, it is possible to effectively limit the complicated prerequisite relations of permissions. The constraints on permission assignment for the proposed symmetric RBAC model reduce errors in permission assignment by properly detailing rules to observe at the time of permission assignment.

  • This study presents the result of uncertainty and sensitivity analysis of a pharmacokinetic model which describes the distribution and removal of benzene at each organ when an indivisual inhales indoor contaminated air with benzene originated from groundwater. The pharmacokinetic model simulates the distribution of benzene deposited in organs of human body through inhalation of contaminated indoor air as well as degradation-metabolism in liver. This study focused on the uncertainty problem induced from the use of the single values for blood flow, partition coefficient, degradation constant, volume, etc. of each organ which was due to a lack of knowledge about these parameters or their measurements. To solve this problem, uncertainty analysis on the pharmacokinetic model was conducted simultaneously which would help understanding the risk assessment associated with VOCs.

A Study of MD Constitutive Model Calibration for Coarse-grained Soils (조립재료에 대한 MD 구성모델 캘리브레이션 연구)

  • The structural stability of fill dam largely depends on the engineering behavior of rock materials used as main zone for dam construction and it is necessary to understand well the stress-strain characteristics of fill materials as well as shear strength property. In addition, the numerical analysis of fill dam requires a thorough study for calibrating material properties and parameters of a coarse-grained soil constitutive model. In this paper, large triaxial test results for Buhang-dam fill materials are analyzed and constitutive model parameters are calibrated based on the test results. It is shown that MD constitutive model is capable to predict the stress-strain behavior of dense and loose coarse-grained soils used for Buhang-dam construction based on the comparison study between the experimental test result and numerical simulation.

  • Object modeling has been cinsidered as an efficient technique for eleciting user requirements and communicat-ing between developers and customers. But model itself is not easy to understand what recult will be after coding and whether it will be meet with the requirements of customers. In this paper, we developed the envuroment for visualization of object model for validating with rewuirnent at the early stage. Therefore, we defined correct and complete rules which can transform the object model.the delierables of Shler/Mellor's method, into a for-mal specification language of VDM(Vienna Development Methods) with a mathematical basis. This basis provides the means of proving that a specification is realizable and proving properties of a system.Therefore.the completeness, preciceness of object model can be verified by proving the transformed VDM specification and prototyping by constructing a visualization supporting enviroment.
