An Performance Evaluation of the Deadlock Detection Algorithm in Petri Nets (패트리 넷에서의 교착 상태 확인 알고리즘 성능분석)

  • Since a deadlock is a condition in which the excessive demand for the resources being used by others causes activities to stop, it is very important to detect and prevent a deadlock. About the deadlock detection analysis methods are may divide like as Siphon, DAPN and transitive matrix, but it's very difficult to evaluate the performance. Since DES (Discrete Event Systems) is NP-hard, and these detection and avoidance methods used various factors in each technique, it's made difficult to compare with each other's. In this paper, we are benchmarked these deadlock detection analyze methods based on the complexity, the detection time and the understanding after approached to one example.

  • 관계형 데이터베이스를 사용하는 응용시스템들은 어플리케이션 소스 코드에 내재된 SQL을 통하여 데이터를 액세스하게 되며, SQL을 통한 데이터베이스 액세스 성능은 응용시스템의 성능에 결정적인 영향을 미치기 때문에, 관계형 데이터베이스시스템의 튜닝에 대해서는 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 데이터베이스시스템 튜닝을 통해 얻은 성능 수준은 응용시스템의 변경이나 데이터 저장량 증가 등 여러 요인에 의해 다시 저하될 수 있으며, 이와 같은 성능 수준의 변화를 정량적으로 관리하면서 최소 비용으로 성능 수준을 유지할 수 있도록 튜닝 시점을 결정하는 방법에 대한 연구는 현재까지 연구된 바가 없다. 이 논문에서 제시하는 DB 성능지수와 이를 이용한 데이터베이스시스템의 성능관리 모델은 특정 벤더에 종속되지 않고 성능수준을 정량화함으로써 이해관계자들에게 성능 수준의 변화를 가시적으로 보이고 데이터베이스 관리자의 성능관리 및 튜닝 시점 판단을 지원하여 일정 수준의 성능을 유지할 수 있는 방법으로 활용될 수 있다.

  • 최근 산업계 전반은 코로나19 장기화에 따라 빠른 속도로 디지털트랜스포메이션이 가속화 되고 있다. 디지털트랜스포메이션의 비즈니스 모델은 기업의 성과에 영향을 미치는데, 새로운 비즈니스 모델로서의 가능성은 기업의 성과와 결과에 영향을 미친다. 또한 산업생태계 자체가 디지털 기술로 인해 재구성되는 디지털 변혁 시대 스타트업의 하이퍼스케일업(Hyper-Scaleup)이 중요해지고 있다. 코로나 대유행시기 동안 사회적 거리두기 정책으로 인해 스타트업은 많은 손실을 경험하였고, 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해 비즈니스 피벗이 필요하며 비즈니스 전환은 필수이다. 물리적 제한이 없는 디지털 세계에서 변화하는 고객의 변화에 신속하게 대응해야 하고 이러한 변화 대응력을 높여야 하는 벤처 생태계를 중심으로 피벗이 중요한 비즈니스 전략으로 등장하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 첫째, 스타트업의 새로운 가치창출을 위해 창업아이템, 하이퍼스케일업, 비즈니스 피벗의 개념을 분석하였다. 둘째, 창업생태계의 디지털 전환 시점에서 창업아이템과 하이퍼스케일업이 창업성과와의 실증 분석을 통해 유의한 영향 관계를 규명하였다. 셋째, 창업아이템과 하이퍼스케일업이 창업성과에 영향을 미칠 때 비즈니스 피벗의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 마지막으로 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 스타트업 관점에서 디지털트랜스포메이션을 바르게 이해하고, 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

  • 자연어 문장으로 작성된 문서들에는 대체적으로 시간에 관련된 정보가 포함되어 있을 뿐만 아니라, 문서의 전체 내용과 문맥을 이해하기 위해서 이러한 정보를 정확하게 인식하는 것이 중요하다. 주어진 문서 내에서 시간 정보를 발견하기 위한 작업으로는 시간적인 표현(time expression) 자체를 인식하거나, 시간 표현과 연관성이 있는 사건(event)을 찾거나, 시간 표현 또는 사건 간에서 발생하는 시간적 연관 관계(temporal relationship)를 추출하는 것이 있다. 문서에 사용된 언어에 따라 고유한 언어적 특성이 다르기 때문에, 만약 시간 정보에 대한 관계성을 고려하지 않는다면 주어진 문장들로부터 모든 시간 정보를 추출해내는 것은 상당히 어려운 일이다. 본 논문에서는, 양방향 구조로 학습된 심층 신경망 기반 언어 모델을 활용하여 한국어 입력문장들로부터 시간 정보를 발견하는 작업 중 하나인 시간 관계정보를 추출하는 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 주어진 단일 문장을 개별 단어 토큰들로 분리하여 임베딩 벡터로 변환하며, 각 토큰들의 잠재적 정보를 고려하여 문장 내에 어떤 유형의 시간 관계정보가 존재하는지를 인식하도록 학습시킨다. 또한, 한국어 시간 정보 주석 말뭉치를 활용한 실험을 수행하여 제안 기법의 시간 관계정보 인식 정확도를 확인한다.

  • 현재 제조업에서 설비 라인 증축 및 최적화를 위해서는 공정 분석과 설비 시스템 테스트가 요구되며, 많은 시간과 비용이 소요된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 가상의 설비모델을 이용해 설비검증과 라인 테스트를 수행할 수 있는 다양한 CPS(Cyber Physical System)가 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 설비 이해관계자 사이의 상호운용성을 확보하기 위해 독일의 Industry 4.0에서 제안한 표준 설비 명세인 AAS(Asset Administration Shell)를 활용한 CPS 구현을 제안한다. SMT(Surface Mounting Technology) 라인 중 Screen Printer를 대상으로, 총 3개의 서브 모델(Sub model)과 17개의 속성(Property)을 AAS 명세하고 이를 이용한 CPS를 구현하는 사례연구를 수행했다. 제안 방법은 표준명세를 활용한 제조 분야 CPS 구현에 적용될 수 있다.

Development and Application of Learning on Geological Field Trip Utilizing on Social Construction of Scientific Model (과학적 모델의 사회적 구성을 활용한 야외지질학습 개발 및 적용)

  • The purposes of this study were to develop and apply on learning on geological field trip utilizing the social construction of scientific model. We developed field trip places by considering not only Orion (1993)'s novelty space but also the achievement standards of 2015 national curriculum. The subjects of the study were 8 in the 'G' science gifted education center. We conducted a study using the theme of 'How was formed Mt. Gwanak?' on 5 lessons including a series of 2 field trip lessons and 3 lessons utilizing the social construction of scientific model. Students participated in pre- and post-test on the understanding of scientific knowledge about formation of mountain. Semi-structured interview was used to analyze students' learning about geological field trip in terms of affective domain. Results were as follows. First, there were 2 places of upper-stream valley and down-stream valley separately. They contained outcrops gneiss, granite, joint in the valley, xenolith, fault plane, mineral in the valley. Second, pre- and post-test and semi-structure interview were analyzed in terms of what scientific knowledge students learned about and how Mt. Gwanak was formed. Seven students explained that Mt. Gwanak was volcano during pretest. Seven students described how granite was formed to form Mt. Gwanak. They also understood geological time scale, i.e., metamorphic rock. Third, the geological field trip was effective to low achievement geoscience students as they engaged in the activities of field trip. Using positive responses on affective learning was effective on learning on geological field trip when utilizing the social construction of scientific model. This study suggests that teachers use an example 'model' on geoscience education. This study also suggests that teachers apply the social construction of scientific model to geological field trip.

The Living Lab Model of Smart City Based on Citizen Participation (시민참여 기반의 스마트시티 리빙랩 모델 설정)

  • As a solution to local and social problems, the active use of smart city living labs is becoming increasingly important. The answer to solving local and social problems lies in the citizen and the field. The purpose of this study is to establish a smart city living lab model based on citizen participation. In this study, smart city living lab model(4P-SCLLM) based on citizen participation was established through domestic and overseas living lab methodology and case analysis. In order to evaluate the systemicity and specificity of the 4P-SCLLM, a smart city living lab model, we recently compared it with the living lab process in Busan where smart city living lab is applied. As a result of analyzing, the analysis shows similar trends in each stage, and Busan's private sector showed a similar process to 4P-SCLLM On the other hand, public and private sector cooperation and support systems were found to be less than the 4P-SCLLM model And In technology and methodology, the 4P-SCLLM model is analyzed to have a living lab process that incorporates new technologies. In order to maintain the 4P-SCLLM continuously, first, participants and stakeholders need to participate actively and communicate while collaborating on the whole process from start to finish. Second, public awareness needs to be improved. Third, continuous citizenship verification of services is needed. Fourth, citizens' constant participation is needed. Through these implications, this study proposed 4P-SCLLM as a smart city living lab model suitable for the domestic situation.

  • Diverse stakeholders engaged in design, construction, and operation and maintenance of offshore plants typically operate heterogeneous plant 3D CAD systems. Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies are required to submit plant design result to the owner in the form of a plant 3D CAD model, as specified in the contract. However, because of the limitations of data interface of plant 3D CAD systems, EPC companies frequently perform manual remodeling to fulfill the terms and conditions of the contract. Therefore, comparison should be performed between the source plant 3D CAD model and the remodeled plant 3D CAD model to prove the validity of the remodeled plant 3D CAD model. To automate the comparison process, we have developed a system for quantitatively assessing the similarity of the plant 3D CAD models. This paper presents the architecture and detailed functions of the system. In addition, experimental results using this system are explained.

  • When people think about stress, they usually consider it as negative. However, stress can be both positive and negative. Positive stress is referred to as eustress, while negative stress is called distress. Stress is derived from the change which can be either positive or negative. Change is an inevitable aspect of life; therefore, people cannot avoid stress. Police works create a lot of stress among officers because of job characteristics. Police works require both physical and emotional strains. These strains lead to stress of officers. Danger, frustration, excessive paperwork, the daily demands of the job, and a lack of understanding from family members, friends, and the public are major causes of stress among police officers. The American Institute of Stress in New York ranks police job among the top ten stress-producing jobs in the United States. In this study, the author proposes the ways of stress management among police officers based on the medical model and the organizational health model. In the medical model, the author introduces the elimination, coping, and counseling as a way of dealing stress as an individual level. In the organizational health model, the author proposes following recommendations from the administrative point of view: 1) rationalization of personnel management system, 2) improvement of the welfare, 3) democratic management of police organization, 4) maintenance of a good partnership with citizens, and 5) development of stress management program for police family members.

  • This article describes a business case of ROSEWeb, a floral distribution service by internet of Newrun System Company. Newrun System is one of the floral distribution IT solution company. The purpose of this case study is to find out which factors of ROSEWeb solution of successful business model and internet distribution strategy that plays an important role as the floral distribution IT service. ROSEWeb has experienced many challenging obstacles while they prepare for this floral distribution IT service. This case study has found that Newrun System Company execute the rapidly transformation of business model to cope with changing situation. Specially, so far, ROSEWeb continuously keep on competitive advantage as floral distribution IT service through building core competence. this study shows that ROSEWeb's case broadly apply reference model to the building business model and formulating floral distribution service strategy and other internet business models. Finally, we intends to discuss about theses questions. the question is "by the existing state of entering Internet portal(Yahoo, Naver, Daum), Can ROSEWeb have sustainable competitive advantage in floral distribution service?", and "what is Newrun System's next business model?". Through the intensive interviews with people involved in the development of ROSEWeb, this article provides important implications to the business community who is preparing for new applications for mobile internet.
