Implementation and Design of Metadata and Quality Evaluation Management Systems for Educational Serious Game (교육용기능성게임을 위한 메타데이터와 품질평가 관리 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • Today, Educational serious games are occupying a large portion of the serious game market but there is a lack of the quality evaluation systems for providing useful quality evaluation information about educational serious game to user or developer. Although the existing metadata management system for serious game is developed, the system had not provided a function to manage the quality evaluation information for educational serious game. Therefor the development of quality evaluation management system of educational serious game is a very important challenge. We proposed design of the system for managing a metadata and a quality evaluation for educational serious game. The advantage of our system is that the system provide a lot of reliable useful information for general users and developers, and support an easy and convenient tool to manage the metadata and quality information to managers.

  • 2002년 10월 유럽통계협회는 품질지수개발을 위해 협회소속국가들이 연합하여 특별연구팀을 발족시켰다. 이 팀의 주목적은 유럽통계협회에서 생산되는 자료의 품질을 측정하기 위해 대표성이 있으며, 계산하기 쉽고, 이해하기 쉬운 지수를 개발하는 것이었다. 유럽 통계협회는 연구팀에서 개발한 지수를 이용하여 내부품질보고서를 작성하도록 결정하였다. 개발된 풀질지수들은 유럽 통계협회 소속 국가에 의해 생산된 통계에 적용하기 적합해야하며 유럽전체를 위해 Eurostat 이 보유하고 있는 통계에도 적합해야한다. 그러므로 지수들은 각 국이 합의한 용어, 공식, 변수, 도메인, 분석의 정도를 고려하여 개발되도록 하였다. 이러한 지수는 정기적으로 생산되도록 규정하고 있으며 이 규정이 지켜지기 위해서는 동일한 변수, 공식 통이 적용되어야함은 물론이고 시계열의 유지를 위해 관련된 메타데이터가 제공되어야한다. 서로 다른 조사결과로부터 관련된 통계량의 측정과 개념들간의 차이를 확인하기 위해서 메타데이터는 반드시 필요하며 품질보고서가 있는 경우 많은 도움이 릴 것이다. 본 연구에서는 동계생산자의 관점에서 본 각각의 품질 요소에 따라서 생산된 다양한 통계의 풀질을 평가하기 위해서 개발된 일련의 표준화된 품질지수를 제시할 것이다. 각 지수들의 정의와 가장 대표적인 지수산출을 제안하고 지수산출을 위해 필요한 메타데이터를 선명한 것이다.

  • Called G-learning the domestic history of the serious game is only a mere 10-odd years or so but in recent years, due to the increased interest of users and industry for the serious game and serious games industry has been the continued growth of large quantity. Current the various types of serious games have been developed and the demand for serious games is increasing rapidly. Therefore that is becoming an important issue the problem of including a quality evaluation elements into serious game metadata to make the right choice of users for the high-quality serious games. In this paper, we recognize deeply the need for quality evaluation element development for serious game and we propose a method and a process for developing the quality evaluation elements of serious game. Also, we develop a draft of the quality evaluation elements for serious game using proposed method.

  • During the past 10 years, serious game industry has been growing steadily. But the system which could stably and reliably provide metadata information and quality information related to serious game remained unexploited. Existing systems only support the basic management functions of metadata search centered. Therefore, we have developed an integrated system to manage the quality information of serious game as well as to improve the inconvenient details of the existing systems. And we designed quality evaluation elements and quality information supply-methods, and linked up them to the system. Furthermore, we conducted user's satisfaction assessment survey on the use of the system. The advantage of the system is that the system provide a lot of useful information for general users and developers, and support a tool to manage all information related to serious game by easy and convenient method for managers.

Understanding the Evaluation of Quality of Experience for Metaverse Services Utilizing Text Mining: A Case Study on Roblox (텍스트마이닝을 활용한 메타버스 서비스의 경험 품질 평가의 이해: 로블록스 사례 연구)

  • The metaverse, derived from the fusion of "meta" and "universe," encompasses a three-dimensional virtual realm where avatars actively participate in a range of political, economic, social, and cultural activities. With the recent development of the metaverse, the traditional way of experiencing services is changing. While existing studies have mainly focused on the technological advancements of metaverse services (e.g., scope of technological enablers, application areas of technologies), recent studies are focusing on evaluating the quality of experience (QoE) of metaverse services from a customer perspective. This is because understanding and analyzing service characteristics that determine QoE from a customer perspective is essential for designing successful metaverse services. However, relatively few studies have explored the customer-oriented approach for QoE evaluation thus far. This study conducted an online review analysis using text mining to overcome this limitation. In particular, this study analyzed 227,332 online reviews of the Roblox service, known as a representative metaverse service, and identified points for improving the Roblox service based on the analysis results. As a result of the study, nine service features that can be used for QoE evaluation of metaverse services were derived, and the importance of each feature was estimated through relationship analysis with service satisfaction. The importance estimation results identified the "co-experience" feature as the most important. These findings provide valuable insights and implications for service companies to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and provide useful insights to gain an advantage in the changing metaverse service environment.

  • Development of the big data industry, the cases of providing data utilization services on digital platforms are increasing. In this regard, research in data-related fields is being conducted to apply the FAIR principle that can be applied to the assessment of (meta)data quality, service, and function to data quality evaluation. Especially, the European Open Data Portal applies an assessment model based on FAIR principles. Based on this, a data maturity assessment is conducted and the results are disclosed in reports every year. However, public data portals do not conduct data maturity evaluations based on metadata. In this paper, we propose and evaluate a new model for data maturity evaluation on a big data platform built for multiple domestic public data portals and data transactions, FAIR principles used for data maturity evaluation in Europe's open data portals. The proposed maturity evaluation model is a model that evaluates the quality of public data portal datasets.

  • Today, the growth of software industry leads to e quantitative expansion of software package products. Due to this rapid increase of software package products, qualify certification has been required fur software products which users select. Unlike the quality certification of industrial products, the history of software product certification has not been so long. For this reason, software quality evaluation and certification methods have not matured yet. When certifying software products, one of most important factors is the systematic generation of evaluation sets. The evaluation sets include checklists with metrics, and criteria for the software quality certification according to the classification of software product type. This paper presents a metamodel for the systematic generation and maintenance of the evaluation sets. Then, we construct prototype level evaluation sets to show the validity of the metamodel.

  • 마이크로어레이를 이용한 발현실험이 기하급수적으로 늘어남에 따라 마이크로어레이이미지를 자동으로 처리하는 기술에 대한 요구가 커지고 있고, 이에 대한 연구도 많아지고 있다. 마이크로어레이 이미지를 자동으로 처리하기 위해서는 각 이미지가 가지고 있는 스팟 패턴를 알아보고, 자동화 정도를 측정할 수 있는 품질평가함수가 필요하다. 우리는 본 논문에서 마이크로어레이 이미지 분석의 자동화에 대한 평가를 도와주는 스팟 패턴의 품질평가함수(quality measure)를 정의하고, 각 실험이 얼마나 잘 이루어졌는지를 예측할 수 있는 품질제어평가함수(quality control measure)를 정의한다. 또한 마이크로어레이 실험과 이미지에 대한 품질을 평가하기 위해서 이미지내의 블럭들과 스팟들에 대한 통계량을 이용하고, 스팟들의 발현값에 대한 정확도를 측정하기 위한 품질평가함수들을 정의한다. 이러한 품질평가함수의 측정을 위해서 최대정규정점의 집합(maximal regular point set)과 메타그리드를 이용한다.

  • Functions of metadata, semantic and syntatic schemas, metadata service such as registries, repositories, the optimal metadata retrieval, and several considerations of implementation of digital libraries were the research scopes of this investigation. R&D outcomes of metadata subjects in the domestic community for the past 10 years were searched and analyzed. It illustrated the major results, distinctive trends as well as some insufficient aspects to satisfy the researchers and operators of metadata system development.

  • In companies competing for today's information society, Data quality deterioration is causing a negative influence to generate company competitiveness fall and new cost. A lot of Preceding study about data qualify have been proceeded in order to solve a problem of these data qualify deterioration. Among the sides of data qualify, it has been studied mainly on qualify of the data valve and quality of data service that are the results quality concept. However. this study studied structural qualify of the data which were cause quality concept in a viewpoint of meta data management and presented data quality management maturity model through this. Also empirically this study verified that data quality improved if the management level matured.
