The advances in communication technology and the popularity of network have rendered the increment of demand and desire to digital contents, and a number of creative digital contents produced. According to the time of compilation and a production of raw data, and manners, the format of digital contents may be variable and there can be existed in many connection information about digital contents. Although there are many metadata for standardizing the digital contents, they do not consider for expressing the connection relation about digital contents. In this paper, we proposed the new metadata for expressing the connection information about digital contents. This metadata is compatible the metadata of dublin core out of international standard of digital contents. Our metadata can express the variable direct or indirect connection relation about digital contents by expanding the relation element of dublin core. Also, our system can provide more useful information since we develop a system for managing connection information of digital contents based on our metadata.

웹 상에서의 자료 검색 방법이 기존의 키워드 검색이나 단순 내용 기반 검색 방법에서 다양한 형태의 의미기반 검색으로 발전하고 있다. 멀티미디어 데이타를 효율적으로 저장, 검색하기 위해서는 표준화된 데이타 구조가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 자료 중에서 이미지의 의미기반 검색을 지원하기 위해 기존의 메타데이타 표준안을 반영한 확장성 있는 통합 이미지 메타데이타 구조를 정의하였다. 또한 통합 이미지 메타데이타를 웹 상에서 상호 교환하기 위해 XML 문서 형태로 표현하였으며, 이를 위해 VRA와 통합 이미지 메타데이타에 대한 XML 스키마를 정의하고 통합 이미지 메타데이타 XML 문서 생성기를 작성하였다

UCI(Universal Content Identifier), a digital content identifier is a identification system based on URN(Uniform Resource Name) for the transparent distribution, efficient search and management of digital contents. Digital contents given a UCI number need metadata for serving a exact contents that users need. However, the only metadata provided by UCI are deficient to represent various information of digital contents, and ontologies which could standardize and define explicitly semantic relations between metadata (provided by UCI) are needed for better representation of information and efficient search and management of digital contents. In this paper, we extended concept-relation between metadata with ontology and designed domain ontology enabling semantic-based search by expanding UCI meta data, and showed the more efficient search and management over the metadata by UCI through various queries.

UAProfile과 MPEG-21 Terminal capability는 Device의 특성을 기술한다는 점에서는 비슷하다. 그러나 자세히 기술하고자 하는 특성이 다르므로 서로 다른 구조를 가지고 있다. 하지만 UAProfile과 MPEG-21 Terminal capability의 메타데이터를 통합함으로서 이 두 메타데이터 그룹들 간의 이질성을 극복할 수 있다. 또한 두개의 메타데이터들을 합쳤을 경우에는 서로 상호 보완적 역할을 하기 때문에 하나의 메타데이터 그룹을 사용한 결과보다 표현능력을 더 향상시킬 수 있다.

현존하는 대부분의 메타 시스템들은 개체-관계 모형을 기반으로 한 메타모형을 갖는다. 그러나 개체-관계 모형을 기반으로 하는 메타모형은 정보시스템 개발환경에 대한 정보를 충분히 표현하기에 부족하며 유추능력에 있어서도 한계성을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점들을 극복하기 위해 확장된 메타모형이 제시되었다. 새로운 메타모형에서는 정보를 충분히 반영하기 위하여 객체지향적 데이타모형을 기반으로 하며 유추능력을 향상시키기 위하여 논리를 도입하였다.

스마트 폰의 보급이 대중화됨에 따라 다양한 앱들이 사용되고 있으나 효율적인 사전 탐색에 관한 앱은 그다지 많지 않다. 현재 공개된 한국어 사전 탐색 앱은 완전한 단어이거나 단어의 부분 문자열을 질의로 사용한다. 이 경우 완전한 단어를 기억하지 못하거나 한국어 정보처리를 위한 여러 형태의 음운 정보를 쉽게 탐색할 수 없다. 이러한 문제를 개선하기 위해 본 논문에서는 메타문자를 사용하여 효율적으로 단어를 탐색할 수 있는 앱을 개발한다. 본 논문에서 사용하는 메타문자는 임의의 음절을 표현하는 '*'와 '?'과 종성을 표현하는 ':'를 사용하며 사전구조는 자소 단위의 트라이를 사용한다. 또한 음절은 물론이고 자소(초성, 중성, 종성)로 구성된 질의를 탐색할 수 있다. 더구나 음절과 자소가 혼합된 질의도 사용할 수 있도록 하여 사용자의 편의를 크게 도모하였다.

This study develops metadata elements based on the FRBR model for effectively managing and retrieving intangible cultural heritage records. Since intangible cultural heritage has a logical layer from its concept to a physical record that realizes the concept and it can be expressed in diverse formats such as video and audio, it is necessary to represent such rich relationships. Therefore, this study suggests a set of metadata elements at each of the four levels (work, expression, manifestation, and item) the FRBR Group 1 presents.

XML used rapid method of meta language representation in internet for information transmission. In addition to XML Schema used frequency specification to variety data type. This thesis designed to Simple Type meta model of XML schema using UML. But because structure of XML schema complicate and suppose variety data type we can recognize many difficult matter to user's apprehension and application of model properties that appeared UML. To way out of this matter this study could specified clearly to structured expression in XML schema meta model that is applied OCL specification and together, come up with method of detailed design to parse tree and token generation for lexical and symmentics analysis in compile step on this study foundation.
