Examples of NCS-based Learning Assessment: For the College of Radiotechnology (NCS 기반 학습평가 사례: 전문대학 방사선과 학생들을 대상으로)

  • Recently, after the reorganization as the basis of NCS education, various learning methods are being sought for improving the basic occupational ability and job ability required by NCS, and the evaluation method accordingly is urgently needed. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the applicability of meta-cognitive learning and Havruta learning as evaluation cases in order to improve the job skills and basic skills required in the NCS curriculum. As a result, the meta-cognitive learning response sample statistic showed an average of 2.6883 when the pre-meta-cognitive learning questionnaire was a 5-point scale, and an average of 4.2468 after the meta-cognitive learning questionnaire. The correlation coefficient was 0.782 and the significance probability was 0.045. In the case of the Havruta learning correspondence sample statistic, the average of 3.1515 when the preliminary Havruta learning questionnaire was a 5 point scale and the average of the post-Havruta learning questionnaire was 4.3853, which was improved by 1.23 points. The correlation coefficient was 0.631 and the significance probability was 0.049. Meta-cognitive learning and Havruta learning were found to be correlated. The mean of meta cognition was 3.4675 and the mean of Havruta was 3.7684. Metacognitive learning and Havruta learning were -0.042 And there was no statistically significant difference. Therefore, the learning method to improve the job ability should be applied considering the characteristics of the subject.

  • USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 환경을 이용하여 서비스를 제공하는 응용들의 수는 점점 많아지고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 응용들이 USN을 활용하여 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 USN을 구성하는 자원들에 관한 정보가 필요하다. USN 메타데이터는 이를 위한 한가지 방법으로 USN 자원 정보를 표현하는 것에 초점을 맞추고 있다. USN 메타데이터를 실제의 응용에 적용하기 위해서는 메타데이터를 저장하고 관리하는 것이 필수적인 요구 사항이다. 본 논문에서는 USN 메타데이터를 관리하기 위한 USN 메타데이터 관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 논문에서 제안한 USN 메타데이터 관리 시스템은 저장구조에 독립적으로 USN 메타데이터를 저장하고 XML 표준 질의어인 XQuery를 이용하여 검색을 수행한다. 또한 다른 시스템과의 성능평가를 통해 효과적인 USN 메타데이터 관리 기법을 알아보고 이는 향후 USN 환경에 메타데이터 관리를 위한 기준으로 삼을 수 있는 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 차량 전장용 소프트웨어의 일부인 Basic Software(BSW) 모듈 설정이 AUTOSAR 표준을 따르는 지를 평가하는 도구를 설명한다. 평가 도구는 크게 평가 속성 추출 부분과 속성 평가 부분으로 구분된다. 평가 속성 추출 부분에서는 AUTOSAR에서 제공하는 BSW 메타 모델로부터 평가 속성을 정의하는 데 사용되는 정보를 자동으로 추출하며 속성 평가 부분에서는 앞에서 추출한 정보를 이용하여 평가 속성을 정의한 후 사용자가 설정한 BSW 사용자 설정 모델에 대해서 평가를 자동으로 수행한다. 한편 평가 속성을 정의하는 데 BSW 메타 모델과 BSW 사용자 설정 모델이 이용된다. 이 두 모델은 XML 구조를 따르고 있으며 이 두 모델로부터 필요한 정보를 얻기 위해서는 XML 탐색이 요구된다. 이를 위해서 우리는 XML 질의어 중 하나인 XPath를 사용하였으며 BSW 메타 모델과 BSW 사용자 설정 모델로부터 평가에 필요한 정보를 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 평가 속성을 정의하는 데에도 XPath 를 사용하였으며 XPath로 정의한 평가 속성을 이용하여 우리는 BSW 사용자 설정 모델을 평가할 수 있었다.

A Meta-learning Approach for Building Multi-classifier Systems in a GA-based Inductive Learning Environment (유전 알고리즘 기반 귀납적 학습 환경에서 다중 분류기 시스템의 구축을 위한 메타 학습법)

  • The paper proposes a meta-learning approach for building multi-classifier systems in a GA-based inductive learning environment. In our meta-learning approach, a classifier consists of a general classifier and a meta-classifier. We obtain a meta-classifier from classification results of its general classifier by applying a learning algorithm to them. The role of the meta-classifier is to evaluate the classification result of its general classifier and decide whether to participate into a final decision-making process or not. The classification system draws a decision by combining classification results that are evaluated as correct ones by meta-classifiers. We present empirical results that evaluate the effect of our meta-learning approach on the performance of multi-classifier systems.

Impact of Student Assessment Activities on Reflective Thinking in High School Argument-Based Inquiry (고등학교 논의기반 탐구 과학수업에서 학생 평가활동이 반성적 사고에 미치는 영향)

  • This study focused on the use of student assessment activities to investigate the impact on reflective thinking in Argument-based Inquiry. The participants of the study were 166 10th grade students (six classes). Over one semester, students participated in five ABI programs that we developed. The experimental group (84 students) was taught Argument-Based Inquiry with students' self and peer assessment activities. The comparative group (82 students) was taught without the activities. We analyzed students' reflective writing to investigate how the student assessment activities influenced the students' reflective thinking. We also used the interviews and surveys to examine the validity of student assessment activities. According to analysis of the reflective writing, the experimental group had a significantly higher mean score than the comparative group in the 3rd and 5th writing. The ratio of students who showed a metacognitive level of reflection with regard to analysis of inquiry process, understanding of learning, and change of thinking increased in both groups, but the experimental group's ratio was higher than the comparative group's. The result of analysis of the reflective practice showed that the ratio of the experimental group's students who reached the metacognitive level of reflection in their writing increased, while the comparative group's decreased. Therefore, we conclude that student assessment activities can create a learning environment that facilitates student participation, increases the students' engagement in the learning process, and can be used as a tool to scaffold learning.

Understanding the Evaluation of Quality of Experience for Metaverse Services Utilizing Text Mining: A Case Study on Roblox (텍스트마이닝을 활용한 메타버스 서비스의 경험 품질 평가의 이해: 로블록스 사례 연구)

  • The metaverse, derived from the fusion of "meta" and "universe," encompasses a three-dimensional virtual realm where avatars actively participate in a range of political, economic, social, and cultural activities. With the recent development of the metaverse, the traditional way of experiencing services is changing. While existing studies have mainly focused on the technological advancements of metaverse services (e.g., scope of technological enablers, application areas of technologies), recent studies are focusing on evaluating the quality of experience (QoE) of metaverse services from a customer perspective. This is because understanding and analyzing service characteristics that determine QoE from a customer perspective is essential for designing successful metaverse services. However, relatively few studies have explored the customer-oriented approach for QoE evaluation thus far. This study conducted an online review analysis using text mining to overcome this limitation. In particular, this study analyzed 227,332 online reviews of the Roblox service, known as a representative metaverse service, and identified points for improving the Roblox service based on the analysis results. As a result of the study, nine service features that can be used for QoE evaluation of metaverse services were derived, and the importance of each feature was estimated through relationship analysis with service satisfaction. The importance estimation results identified the "co-experience" feature as the most important. These findings provide valuable insights and implications for service companies to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and provide useful insights to gain an advantage in the changing metaverse service environment.

  • The purpose of the study is to evaluate Korean Records Management Metadata Standard with special emphasis on the contextual elements in their implementation aspect, and to provide the direction of the Standard revision for improving the metadata quality of RMS developed by National Archives of Korea. The present paper begins with comparing RMS data and the Standard elements, and examines the problems of current accumulation practices of contextual metadata elements in the RMS. Finally it makes some suggestions concerning the Standard revision as well as RMS function upgrade.

  • 최근 연구개발 투자의 증가와 더불어 특허정보에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 일반 기업체뿐만 아니라 대학을 비롯한 다른 기관 및 단체에서도 특허정보의 출원에서부터 등록 및 사후관리에 이르기까지 특허정보의 생산, 수집 및 이용을 위한 특허정보의 통합관리가 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 특허정보 분석을 기초로 하여 더블린 코어 메타데이터와 RFC 1807 메타데이터를 참고하여 특허정보관리시스템을 위한 메타데이터를 설계하였으며, 설계된 메타데이터의 효율성을 평가해보기 위해 특허정보관리시스템을 구현하여 이를 적용해 보았다.

A Study on Usability of Interface Metaphors (인터페이스 메타포의 유용성에 관한 연구)

  • 이용자 중심의 인터페이스 개발은 현재 검색시스템에서 가장 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 인터페이스에서 메타포의 사용은 바로 이용자 편의성을 높이는 방안이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 대학도서관과 공공도서관의 검색인터페이스에서 사용하고 있는 메타포의 유용성을 평가하였다. 그 결과 현재 사용되고 있는 메타포의 문제점은 비슷비슷하다는 점이며 한 이미지가 유일한 의미를 갖고 있지 못하여 혼동을 야기 시킨다는 점이며, 이미지와 텍스트간의 의미적 관계 또한 명료하지 않게 나타났다. 따라서 메타포 개발시 이미지에 담겨진 의미가 모든 이용자와 같을 수 있도록 논리적 유사점을 찾아내어야 할 것이다.

A Study on Framework for Linkage of Research Performance Evaluation and Research Information Service (연구 성과평가와 연구정보서비스의 연계를 위한 기초 연구: 과학기술 분야 연구개발사업을 중심으로)

  • This study aims to investigate a framework for linkage of national research performance evaluation and research information service from the perspective of metadata representation and exchange. Based on results of the functional requirements for metadata of national research performance evaluation are derived, this study suggests strategies for the application of international metadata standards. Also, this study presents an method to implement the metadata of research performance evaluation based on OAI-ORE, which is an international standard that can reuse and exchange the research information on web architecture.
