웹 상에 존재하는 상이한 메타데이터들간의 상호호환성을 위해서는 각각의 메타데이터 형식에서 지정하고 있는 다양한 어의, 구조, 구문을 모두 수용할 수 있는 통합된 구조가 필요하다. 본고에서는 이를 위한 방안으로써 개념적 체계를 제시한 워릭구조와 이의 영향을 받아 W3C에서 제안한 RDF를 중심으로 고찰하며, 더블린코어를 RDF로 구현하고자 하는 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

오늘날 소프트웨어는 개발 방법론을 이용하여 양적으로나 질적으로 많은 발전이 이루어졌다. 이와 더불어 소프트웨어에 대한 소비자들의 요구와 지식 수준 또한 같이 높아짐으로써 소프트웨어 인증에 대한 관심과 인식도 같이 높아지고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 품질 인증을 위한 메타 모델의 필요성을 알아보고 기존 연구[1]되었던 메타 모델의 개념 수준을 더욱 발전시켰다. 그리고 간단하지만 실질적인 예제를 통해서 메타 모델과 인증 모델, 인증 프로그램과의 관계를 명확하게 정립하고자 한다.

스포츠 경기의 하이라이트(highlight) 브라우징을 위해 하이라이트 이벤트(주요 사건)와 하이라이트 객체(선수)를 묘사하는 하이라이트 테마를 계층구조로 정의하고, 이를 이용해 하이라이트 세그먼트를 설정하고, 자동적으로 계층구조의 하이라이트 메타데이타를 생성하는 하이라이트 인덱싱 방법을 제안하였다. 하이라이트에 관련된 모든 메타데이타는 MPEG-7으로 기술하였다. 그리고 제안한 방법으로 생성된 메타데이타를 이용한 set-top box용 하이라이트 브라우저를 구현하였다.

인터넷 기반으로 다양한 웹서비스와 멀티미디어형 자료를 제공하는 디지털 도서관의 설립과 활용도가 높아지면서, 기존의 도서 서비스 시스템에서 사용하던 기술은 개선을 요구하고 있다. 기존 도서시스템에서 활용하고 있는 국제 표준 메타데이터인 MARC 와 MODS 는 급속히 발전하는 인터넷 기반 디지털 도서관의 서비스를 만족스럽게 충족시키기에는 개선이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 도서시스템의 메타데이터 스키마를 설계하고, 검색 시간 향상을 위한 방법을 제안하고, 실용성 검증을 위한 실험결과를 보였다.

코로나 19(Convid-19) 이후 다가올 미래의 글로벌 신성장산업으로 주목받고 있는 메타버스의 기술이 발전함에 따라 다양한 법적 문제가 떠오르고 있다. 그 중에서도 공연 사용료 징수 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 대용량 처리와 저장, 그리고 유연한 서비스를 제공해줄 수 있는 클라우드와 XGBoost를 활용하여 메타버스 환경에서 사용자에게 공연 사용료의 투명성과 편리성을 제공하는 공연 사용료 징수 시스템을 제안한다.

This study aims to investigate a framework for linkage of national research performance evaluation and research information service from the perspective of metadata representation and exchange. Based on results of the functional requirements for metadata of national research performance evaluation are derived, this study suggests strategies for the application of international metadata standards. Also, this study presents an method to implement the metadata of research performance evaluation based on OAI-ORE, which is an international standard that can reuse and exchange the research information on web architecture.

Datawebhouse consists of both web log analysis used for customer management and datawarehouse used for decision support. However, datawebhouse needs complex operations for management in order to transform and integrate data from heterogeneous data sources and distributed systems. We propose a metadata schema in order to enable data integration and data management which are essential in datawebhouse environments. We show that our proposed schema supports datawebhouse development and enables integrated asset management of business information. With ETL metadata for web log extract, we can improve the data processing time of web log.

As the networks proliferate all over the world and the application of the geographical information increase recently, the importance of effective access and exchange of GIS data is recognized. However, existing GIS data are generated by many different organizations without proper standard methodologies and data exchange facilities such as clearing houses are being operated on different DBMS with their own schemata. It makes difficult for users to access and utilize the GIS data even the data are open to public. In this research, we provide the users a search system that interfaces heterogeneous repository systems. In order to interact heterogeneous DBMS we utilize the metadata interchange standard (XMI) from OMG.

This study is supposed to the way to add and enlarge the elements related to educational domain in metadata of school library information system (DLS) by using the concept of learning object which the education information service agencies have adapted. This study is to propose the methods which can be accessed according to the units of learning content in order that they can be applied to the teaching and learning situations, and describe and index the total traits of interior data elements included in the information resources. Thus, the metadata of the existing DLS through the additional elements : , , and was made to access the information resources according to the teaching and learning situations and to accept the concept of interior learning units by means of the element.
