  • 본 연구에서는 Main Rotor Blade Tip 형상 변화에 따른 후류해석을 통해 와류 생성 및 주변 유동을 분석하여 블레이드 팁 형상의 변화가 와류 간섭을 감소시키는지의 여부를 확인하였다. EDISON CFD를 이용하여 블레이드 Blade Tip 형상에 따라 유동이 어떻게 나타나며, Blade 후류의 압력과 점성의 변화를 분석하여 와류의 양상을 해석하였다. 비교 Blade 형상은 2세대 긴 직사각형 모형, KUH 수리온의 Blade, 유로콥터사의 'Blue Edge'로 비교적 최근에 개발된 대표적인 Blade Tip 형상 3개로 정하였다. 결과를 토대로 블레이드 뒷전의 와류흐름 양상을 확인하여 블레이드 와류 간섭현상의 감소를 확인하였다.

  • 종이 축하카드를 자판기로 팔다니? 인터넷 메일과 카드, 정보메신저, 블로그 등 온라인 정보통신이 상호간 소통의 주가 된 시대에 있어 축하카드자판기는 사업성이 그다지 커 보이지 않는다. 실제로 매년 종이 축하카드 시장을 감소세를 보이고 있는 상황이다. 그런데 이러한 시장 상황에도 불구하고 축하카드자판기를 개발 상품화한 업체가 있다. 언뜻 보이기에는 상당히 무모한 도전으로 내비치는 이색 시장 도전이 아닐 수 없다.

Vitamin C and antioxidant capacity stability in cherry and romaine during storage at different temperatures (저장 조건에 따른 로메인 및 체리의 비타민 C 함량 및 항산화능의 변화)

  • Purpose: The aim of this work was to study the change in antioxidant activity depending on storage temperature and storage period in romaine and cherry. Method: The plant material was stored at $0.7{\pm}0.6^{\circ}C$, $3.5{\pm}2.8^{\circ}C$, and $4.7{\pm}1.4^{\circ}C$. Cherry and romaine were stored for a period of 9 days and 7 days, respectively. The cherry was taken from each group of samples at regular intervals of days and the romaine was taken from each group of samples at regular intervals of 2days. Vitamin C, total polyphenol, and total flavonoid stability and antioxidant capacity including DPPH, total antioxidant capacity (TAC) were measured. Results: For cherry, the levels of TAC and flavonoid were higher at the $0.7{\pm}0.6^{\circ}C$ condition than other conditions (p < 0.05). The polyphenol and vitamin C levels were not significantly different among storage conditions. In the case of romaine, the level of TAC was highly preserved until 7 days at the $0.7{\pm}0.6^{\circ}C$ condition. Vitamin C level was significantly lower at the $3.5{\pm}2.8^{\circ}C$ condition (p < 0.05). DPPH activity was highest at the $0.7{\pm}0.6^{\circ}C$ condition (p < 0.05). DPPH activity was shown in order of $0.7{\pm}0.6^{\circ}C>4.7{\pm}1.4^{\circ}C>3.5{\pm}2.8^{\circ}C$. Conclusion: The results indicated that the narrow differences and fluctuation in temperature were associated with antioxidant capacity and it might enhance the nutritional shelf life of vegetables and fruits.

Calculations on the Interactions between Main and Jib Sails (요트의 Main세일과 Jib세일 사이의 간섭 효과에 대한 수치해석)

  • It is important to understand the flow characteristics around two sails of a sloop yacht. In this paper a computational aerodynamic investigation is performed over sail-like airfoils similar to the main and iIb sails of a 30 feet sailing yacht. Lift and drag are calculated for various conditions of slit distance between the two sails and overlapped length of the jib sail. The thrust and CE(center of effort) of the sail system are obtained. It is found that the combination of two sails produces the thrust force larger than the sum of the thrust force of each sail standing separately and the slit distance of the two sails are important factor to increase lift force.

SK텔레콤의 성공적인 다운사이징 사례;U.Key의 탄생

  • SK텔레콤은 급변하는 이동통신시장 환경의 변화에 적절히 대응하기 위하여 지난 10여 년간 사용해 온 메인프레임 기반의 COIS 시스템을 중단하고 Unix 기반의 NGM 시스템으로 다운사이징하기로 결정하였다. 2002 년 9 월 SK 텔레콤은 차세대 IT 인프라 혁신 전략 프로젝트를 완료하고 이에 근거하여 2003 년 말 1 단계 프로젝트를 추진하게 된다. 그러나 개발 툴의 문제점, Governance 의 확보 실패 등 문제점이 계속 누적되어 2005년에 접어들어서는 총체적 난국 상황에 봉착하게 되었다. 2005 년 2 월 자체 점검 결과 개발 진척도는 50%에 불과한 상황이었다. 결국 2005 년 3 월, NGM 추진본부는 프로젝트의 추진 중단을 선언하기에 이르렀다. NGM 프로젝트는 처음부터 재 검토하여 Re-planning 을 실시한 후 구축을 재개하기로 결정하였다. 2005 년 5 월 NGM 프로젝트의 Re-plan 이 수립되었다. 우선 Turn-key 방식의 문제점을 해소하기 위하여 SK 텔레콤이 구축의 총책임을 떠맡고, SK C&C 가 시스템 이행에 대한 책임을 지는 Governance 체제를 확립하였다. 또한 2 단계 프로젝트에서는 NGM 프로젝트를 기술적으로 원점부터 재 검토하여 이전과는 근본적으로 다른 In-House 구축 접근방식을 채택하기로 하였다. 2 단계 프로젝트에서 관심을 집중한 기술적 의사결정 영역은 크게 (1) 미들웨어 및 개발프레임워크의 적용, (2) DB 아키텍처의 결정 및 슬림화, (3) 시스템 성능 개선 등의 세 분야로 집약할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 이들 각각의 분야를 구체적으로 검토하였다. 결국 2006 년 10 월 9 일 메인프레임 기반의 COIS 는 Shut-down 되어 가동을 멈추었고, Unix 기반의 NGM 시스템이 가동을 개시함으로써 차세대 마케팅을 본격 추진하기 위한 다운사이징 프로젝트가 성공적으로 완수되었다.

  • Internet shopping has transformed our daily lives as well as the pattern of consumption. In the word, the development and the growth of online shopping site have led to new pattern of consumption. This applies in particular to clothing, among the product on sale, on the internet. The purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristic of colors and images on internet fashion soho mall web site, and to provide efficient color information which is usefull in color planning and suitable for brand image on fashion web site. 147 color sample used by 40 fashion soho mall web site were collected and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, dominant color on fashion web site is static color as black and it's ratio is 33$\%$. Second, G color is not used. Third, Hue and tone mainly used It tone of P color except V tone. And the color image on internet fashion soho mall web site are modern, chic, dandy, formal. Results from analyzing the fashion soho mall Web site. it is important to unity the company's image but its more important to make a color plan considering the sites feature and the customers's sensitivity.

  • This paper suggests that implementation of the Simulink execution module controls Simulink simulation and shows simulation results by applying Automata theory. This module is composed of three independent systems that the main program to accept user commands, the thread to control a simulation of Simulink model and the Simulink model to execute simulation. This paper designs each module and entire system by applying Automata theory, and implements it with C# and MATLAB language. And the Simulink execution module implemented will be verified through the experiment.

  • This study was conducted to evaluate basic seed characteristics such as morphological characteristics and various seed vigor using 4 sorghum varieties, Nampungchal, Donganme, Hwanggeumchal and Whinchal. No difference was shown in morphological characteristics of the varieties except that the width. Whinchal has bulb-shaped seed, while the other varieties have oval-shaped seeds. The seed coat color of Whinchal is obviously different from those of the other varieties; especially, Nampungchal and Hwanggeumchal are not glossy. Germination rate were Hwanggeumchal > Nampungchal > Donganme > Whinchal in the order of higher rate in standard germination tests and cold germination test. In the ageing test, Donganme showed the lowest 15% decrease in comparison with the standard cultivar. Electric conductivity (EC) has negative correlation with standard germination tests, cold germination test and accelerated ageing test. In the percentage of emergence (PE), Hwanggeumchal was the highest 85.7% which was more than 40% to the lowest Whinchal. Mean emergence time (MET) showed significant difference between the varieties; Whinchal showed the slowest 6.0 days.

Numerical Analysis of Blockage Effects on Aerodynamic Forces for Yacht Sails in Wind Tunnel Experiment (풍동 실험시 요트 세일 공력에 미치는 차폐효과에 대한 수치해석)

  • Due to the limitation of size of the test section, blockage effects could not be avoided in the model test of yacht sails for common wind tunnels. In this paper, a numerical analysis is performed to investigate the blockage effects on the lift and drag forces measured from wind tunnel experiments for a 30 feet sloop yacht sail. Complex airflows around the jib and main sails including three-dimensional flow separations are calculated for various close-hauled conditions. It is found that the blockage of a wind tunnel changes the flow separation and consequently the lift and drag forces of the sails, especially the main sail, reduce and increase, respectively, due to the blockage effects.
