This study investigates whether easy understanding of user interface could affect the use of electronic materials in a virtual academic library. The user interface of Duksung Women's University Library was analysed in terms of label description and array of menus. The frequencies of menu use were collected by analysis of use log files after modified user interface was applied. Clear label descriptions of link menus and sub-menus of electronic material searches significantly contributed to the increase of number of user clicks on the modified menus. This study reveals that the more clearly menu labels are described, the more frequently users click the menus on the academic library user interface.

Electronic reference service was defined as reference service designed for remote users and identified by a specific link from a library' website. This study examined whether academic libraries deliver web-based electronic reference services to remote users. Particularly, four types of electronic bulletin board services, free bulletin board, FAQ, Q＆A and reference question-response service were measured in terms of 8 types of questions and 12 contents of questions. The result showed that there was few differences among 4 services. Guidelines for effective use of electronic bulletin board services in academic libraries were suggested: standardization of service names, easy access to menu services, definition of each menu, search function for contents and standard web forms.

인터랙티브 TV 시장이 활성화됨에 따라 DCATV와 IPTV의 경쟁이 본격화되면서 사용성에 직접적인 영향을 주는 인터페이스에 대한 관심도 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 인터랙티브 TV의 서비스 및 인터페이스에 대한 사용자의 멘탈모델을 이해하는 것을 목적으로 진행하였다. 연구 방법은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문헌 조사를 통해 인터랙티브 TV의 2가지 유형인 DCATV와 IPTV의 기술적 차이점과 서비스 동향을 파악하였다. 둘째, 헬로우TV, C&M, 브로드앤TV, 쿡TV, 마이 엘지TV 등 인터랙티브 TV의 사례들을 비교분석 하였다. 셋째, 헬로우TV를 중심으로 사용성 평가를 실시하고 그 결과를 종합 분석하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 DCATV와 IPTV의 서비스 및 인터페이스에 대한 사용자 멘탈모델이 다르다는 것을 파악할 수 있었다. 특히 실시간으로 방송되는 '케이블TV채널'과 요청에 따라 다운로드 되는 'VOD'라는 두 가지 서비스는 인터랙션 방식과 제공 단위에 있어서 상이하며, 따라서 개념적 혼란을 야기할 수 있다. IPTV와 달리 두 가지 서비스를 함께 제공하는 DCATV에서는 대부분의 사용자들은 2가지의 멘탈모델을 병립시키지 못해 인지적 혼란을 느꼈고 VOD서비스에 대해서도 정확히 이해하지 못했다. 이는 VOD 명칭에 대해 어려움을 느끼는 것으로 생각되며 VOD명칭에 대한 개선이 필요했다. 이에 새롭게 변화된 쿡TV에서는 VOD란 명칭을 TV다시보기로 개선함으로써 명칭 개선이 필요함을 증명했다. 이러한 발견 점은 차후 인터랙티브 TV의 인터페이스 개발시 컨셉 개발을 위한 기초 자료로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze related studies and domestic/international online reference cases, extract obstructive factors present in online reference services, and reveal whether or not there are differences in perception between the university librarian and the users. The results with respect to the failure of the resources revealed that while the user considers the quantitative / qualitative shortage of content as the greatest obstacle in the online reference service, librarians see the lack of human resources (Specialist Librarian / trained staff) in this light. Users think this is the least of the problems. In addition, other obstacles that are the most highly evaluated by librarians are, in order, the limitation of service because of copyright issues, the difficulty of information retrieval and complexity of methods of use, and a general lack of information in the reference services menu and missing information in the main menu. For the users the other most important obstacles were similar with the limitation of service because of copyright issues being highest, followed by the difficulty of access because of the confusion over service names, and the general lack of information in the reference services menu and missing information in the main menu.

레이블링은 웹 사이트의 요소가 되는 글로벌 네비게이션, 서브 메뉴, 컨텐츠 등에 명칭을 붙이고 체계를 확립해 주어 사용자들에게 이해를 돕기 위한 가이드라인이다. 특히, 취업 정보 시스템에서 이력서나 채용공고 등과 같은 정보 입력 항목의 레이블로 사용하는 용어는 정확한 예측과 빠른 이해가 있어야 입력시간을 단축 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 웹사이트를 사용하는 다양한 요구와 사고들을 충족하면서 많은 입력 정보 항목의 이해도를 높여 이력서나 채용공고 등과 같은 정보를 입력 시 정확한 예측과 빠른 이해를 도와 입력시간을 단축시킬 수 있는 레이블명에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 연구 방법으로는 국내 취업사이트 중 상위 랭킹에 있는 사이트를 중심으로 정보 입력 항목의 이명 레이블을 벤치마킹하고 다양한 레이블 중 사용자가 친숙하면서도 직관적으로 생각하는 레이블을 설문 조사한다. 설문 조사 결과를 바탕으로 취업사이트에서 벤치마킹한 최빈도 사용 레이블명이 높은 친숙도 평가값을 받은 항목의 레이블과 비교하여, 향후 취업 정보 시스템을 구성 할 경우 정보 항목의 레이블을 효과적으로 결정할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고 그 유효성을 확인하고자 한다.

연구목적: 노인을 위한 건강정보 웹사이트들이 사용성과 접근성을 높이기 위해 지켜야 할 디자인 요소를 어떻게 반영하고 있는지 평가·비교함으로써 개선 방향을 제언하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 국내 및 미국에서 개발된 노인 대상의 건강정보 웹사이트를 각각 9개씩 선정하였다. 근거 기반의 웹디자인 지침서인 Make Your Website Senior Friendly: Checklist와 Research-based Web Design & Usability Guideline을 통합 수정하여 얻은 4개 영역의 평가 항목 48개를 적용해 두 명의 평가자가 선정된 총 18개 웹사이트를 평가하였다. 연구결과: '가독성' 영역 중 서체 선택, 줄 간격, 배경색과 글자색 선택 등은 양호하였으나 국내 웹사이트들 중에는 글자 크기가 조절되지 않는 경우가 빈번하였다. '정보의 표현과 구성' 영역에서 다수의 웹사이트들은 정보 배치 등이 우수하고 소비자 용어를 사용하는 노력을 보였다. 그러나 일부 국내 웹사이트들은 프린트 기능을 제공하지 않거나, 노인들의 저하된 인지 능력을 배려하려는 노력이 부족하였다. '미디어 사용' 영역에서 국내 웹사이트들은 글자 외에 다른 매체를 사용하는 빈도가 미국 웹사이트들에 비해 낮았고, 시청각 매체를 사용할 때는 동일한 내용을 문자로도 볼 수 있도록 하라는 권고안을 준수하지 않았다. '내비게이션과 검색의 용이성'에서는 메뉴나 링크의 명칭이 명확하며, 이용 중에도 쉽게 홈페이지로 돌아갈 수 있도록 구성되었다. 그러나 다수의 국내 사이트들이 사이트맵을 제공하지 않거나, 검색어의 철자오류 등에 대한 배려가 부족하였다. 결론: 국내 웹사이트들은 미국 웹사이트들에 비해 노인들의 사용성과 접근성을 높이는 것으로 밝혀진 연구 근거들을 제대로 반영하지 못하고 있었다. 노인 대상의 인터넷과 웹을 활용한 교육이 지속적으로 증가할 것이므로, 그 효과성을 높이기 위해 간호사들은 정보의 질 뿐만 아니라 디자인 측면의 중요성을 인식하고 실천할 수 있어야겠다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the currently operating subject guides in academic libraries and to suggest measures for improvements of them. To do this, 22 out of 151 academic libraries which have more than 1,000 enrolled college students in the university and two institutes of science and technology were selected and the libraries were analyzed according to 12 criteria. The main results of the data analysis were as follows: First, the subject guides did not clearly indicate which service tool to use. Second, there was a difference in the subject guide format in the same academic library. Third, libraries tried to provide a lot of information sources on the subject guides without considering users' needs. By offering many kinds of information sources, students had to choose the information sources they needed. Improvement plans are: First, it is necessary to develop the subject guide of the college courses. Second, Content-based subject guides are necessary through standardized format. Third, it is necessary to unify the name of menu of information resource. Fourth, the number of information sources included in the subject guides should be minimized. Fifth, it is necessary to establish a cooperation system between academic libraries to develop the subject guides.

This paper describes methodology which enables user in order to generate facial expression animation of caricature which applies a facial motion data in the vector based caricature. This method which sees was embodied with the plug-in of illustrator. And It is equipping the user interface of separate way. The data which is used in experiment attaches 28 small-sized markers in important muscular part of the actor face and captured the multiple many expression which is various with Facial Tracker. The caricature was produced in the bezier curve form which has a respectively control point from location of the important marker which attaches in the face of the actor when motion capturing to connection with motion data and the region which is identical. The facial motion data compares in the caricature and the spatial scale went through a motion calibration process too because of size. And with the user letting the control did possibly at any time. In order connecting the caricature and the markers also, we did possibly with the click the corresponding region of the caricature, after the user selects each name of the face region from the menu. Finally, this paper used a user interface of illustrator and in order for the caricature facial expression animation generation which applies a facial motion data in the vector based caricature to be possible.

This study was conducted to examine the overall perception of importance and possibility of Korean food and globalization of Korean food. Analyzing the factors influencing globalization of Korean food, this study suggests development strategies and basic data for globalization of Korean food and development of high skilled manpower. The survey was carried out from April 1, 2011 to April 30, 2011, targeting students majoring in foodservice, who will play a key role in globalization of Korean Food. Analysis methods included frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings are summarized as follows: (1) Students recognized Korean food as a nutritionally balanced healthy food. (2) Standardization of Korean cuisine and food names was the most important. (3) Students were very interested in globalization of Korean Food. (4) Perception of Korean food and its globalization were significantly different according to the levels of education. (5) As a result of analyzing the effect on globalization, quality and healthfulness of Korean food had a positive effect on globalization of Korean food.

Special Act on Regulatory Freedom Zone and Regional Special Development Zonet" introduced a new type of 'Freedom Special Zone of Regulation' that is legally distinguished from the existing Special Districts for Regional and Regional Development to support the innovative and strategic growth of the areas, and even passed a number of legal grounds for providing innovative regulations for regional development projects or regional strategic industries within the Special Districts. Starting with the bill legislation proposed by The Parliament Members, Kim Kyung-soo on behalf of 33 suggestors, Choo Kyung-ho, Jung Sung-ho and Hong Il-pyo submitted the bill legislation on behalf of 10 to 12 proposers, respectively. As a major matter of issue, the purpose, designation, scope of application, promotion system, application of A Bill of Three kind on Regulatory Innovation, and Balanced National Development, many kind of regulation as like types of menu, special cases, punitive regulations, and so on have been argued until the end of the bill proposed from the beginning. In this study, the differences between the bill suggested by the Parliament members and bill approved already are to be compared and analyzed to confirm how the items on issue were reflected for the bill finally and to draw up measures for the correct operation of the special regulations.
