This study was to analyze the learning effectiveness of multi-media based class by comparing with traditional classroom method. The "Distribution Working Subject" course that is one of the required courses of Vocational high school was selected and its contents were digitalized on MS Powerpoint for multi-media based class. The thirty students were sampled for each experimental and control groups. The homogeneity and learning achievement of sample groups were tested for experiment. Same teacher took the classes of two groups and delivered same contents of course. Only difference between two groups was the delivery method, one is traditional classroom teaching method and the other was the multi-media based class. The learning achievements and satisfaction of sample were post-tested in order to analyze the learning effectiveness by comparing two teaching methods. The results showed that there was a significant difference between experimental and control group in learning achievement after ANCOVA controlled pre-test as covariance(F=5.08, p<.05). It means that the learning achievement of multi-media based class was higher than that of traditional classroom group. The results also showed that a significant difference in students' satisfaction between two groups (t=5.57, p<.001). This study concluded that using multi-media in class could produce more learning achievements and satisfaction of students than traditional classroom method.

인터넷과 멀티미디어의 눈부신 발전은 교육현장에서도 다양한 교육매체로 활용되어 수업을 돕고 있다. 이러한 교육매체들은 학습자의 생각으로만 이해할 수 있는 것들을 시각적으로 표현하여 보다 직관적이고 구체적으로 이해시킬 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 플래시 액션스크립트를 사용하여 버블, 삽입, 쉘, 퀵, 힙 알고리즘의 수행과정을 그래픽 애니메이션으로 구현함으로 시각적 효과를 통해 다양한 정렬과정을 스스로 학습할 수 있는 학습 시스템을 구현하였다.

정보통신기술(ICT : Information and Communication Technology)은 멀티미디어 정보를 교실에 실시간으로 제공함으로써 교실 수업에 매우 다양한 방식으로 응용이 가능하게 되었다. 특히, 국가 주도하고 있는 ICT활용 교육은 교사 중심의 전통적 수업보다 학습자 중심의 수업을 가능하게 할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 이에 따라 교사들은 ICT활용 능력을 갖추고 이를 수업에 적용할 수 있는 지적, 경험적 노력을 필요로 한다. 본 연구는 현장에서 연수를 통하여 이루어지고 있는 ICT활용 교수-학습 과정안 개발을 예비 교원까지 확대하여 이들의 능력을 계발하고 전문성을 제고하고자 하였다. 이를 통하여 교원양성기판의 교육과정에 ICT 활용교육방법의 도입 및 활용을 촉진하고, 교수-학습 방법의 개선 및 교육의 질을 제고하는데 목적이 있다.

Recently, digital and the Internet are widespread out of the world, and multimedia processing technology and the development of information and communication technology in education using the Internet as the demand is rapidly increasing. Also, we tan easily use informations with less restrictions of time and space. however, several kinds of audio, media to integrate multimedia data, such as the proliferation of demands for representation. Therefore, in 1998, W3C presented an international standard, SMIL in order to solve multimedia object representation and synchronization problems. By using SMIL, various multimedia elements can be integrated as a multimedia document with proper view in a spate and time. Using this SMIL document, we can create new internet radio broadcasting service that delivers not noly audio data but also various text, image and video. In this paper, with the system, teachers can easily create multimedia courseware and living broadcast their torture on network, students can receive audio-video information of the teacher, screen displays of the teachers computer. Moreover students can communicate with teacher simultaneously by text editor windows. Students can also order courseware after class.

According to the increasing of the internet infrastructure and growth of contents technology, the users can access an education service at anytime and anywhere. In a field of English education, especially, internet technology has enabled learners to communicate with their teachers and multimedia contents technology has been able to provide learner not only lots of interests, but also good effect on English learning. In this paper, we propose a method diagnosing learner's level by using some question-items, which consist of item's type and item's function. Futhermore, the proposed system can support three devices which are PC, PDA, and Mobile Phone on wired and wireless internet communication environments. Also, the system provides multimedia contents including flash movies, image, and audio contents. We have applied the system into real classroom, and we verified that the question-items that system provides has no problem, and our method could improve each learner skill on English education. Therefore, we expect that learner who uses the proposed system will get level-based English learning service at anytime and anywhere.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects on the academic achievement and learning satisfaction according to the presentation method of the multimedia materials for 'transportation technology' units of technology home economics subject. The subjects were assigned in third conditions; Text type explanation class, multimedia class and multimedia video class with narration. The data of six evaluation questions obtained from the survey of 93 high school girl were analyzed using SPSS program. The results of the study were as follows : First, in the learning satisfaction average level(M) of the students' overall responses to the questions, multimedia teaching learning class(experimental group 1) is the first(M=4.14), multimedia video class with narration(experimental group 2) is the second(M=3.16), and instructor-led class(control group) is the third (M=2.63). Therefore, the teaching learning multimedia class(experimental group 1) was most effective. Second, looking at the correlations between the students' responses to the questions, in an interesting class, the students have a retentive memory and comprehension, but a lower concentration can not a retentive memory. Third, multimedia teaching learning class(experimental group 1) has the best degree at the level of academic achievement, but instructor-led class(control group) and multimedia video class with narration(experimental group 2) have similar degree in the second place. To increase academic achievement, an instructor-led class is important to arouse interest and a multimedia video class with narration is required ways to improve level of concentration.

웹기반 교육은 사용자가 원하는 시간과 장소에서 학습자 스스로 수준별 학습이 .가능하며 능동적으로 학습에 참여할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이를 바탕으로 한 웹 코스웨어는 원거리 학습자들의 학습 욕구를 가능케 했으며 기존의 텍스트, 사운드를 통한 단순한 콘텐츠에서 동영상 이미지를 중심으로 한 멀티미디어 동영상 강의, 하이퍼텍스트로 구성된 인터넷 홈페이지 등 주문형 교육 서비스(EOD : Education On Demand)가 가능해 졌다. 이처럼 현재 많은 분야에서 다양한 방법으로 웹기반 교육콘텐츠를 개발하여 학습에 활용하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 양적으로 팽창하는 웹 코스웨어의 효율성을 분석하고 이를 통하여 보다 질적인 우수성을 포함하는 콘텐츠 활용 방안을 연구하고자 한다.

컴퓨터와 멀티미디어, 네트워크 기술의 발달을 바탕으로 웹 기반 교육이 출현하였고 기존 교실 중심수업의 한계를 뛰어 넘는 교육적 잠재성에 교육 운영자 및 학습자는 많은 기대를 하게 되었다. 웹을 이용한 학습은 자기주도적인 학습이 가능하고 학습자와 교수자 간의 상호 보완적인 학습이 이루어질 수 있다는 장점이 있기 때문이다. 이러한 웹 기반 학습을 효과적으로 운영하기 위해서는 개별 교육기관 자체적으로 개발한 학습관리시스템(Learning Management System;LMS)이 필요하다. 학습자들에게 양질의 온라인 콘텐츠를 제공하고자 하는 교사들을 위해 개발된 학습관리시스템 중 하나가 Moodle LMS이다. Moodle LMS는 소스가 공개되어 있어 누구나 필요한 사람은 소스를 개선, 확장, 활용할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문은 Moodle LMS를 활용하여 학습자가 원활하게 토론에 참여할 수 있는 토론 시스템을 설계하였다.

인터넷의 발전으로 우리는 빠른 시간에 많은 정보를 접할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 웹을 이용한 동적인 개인 신상관리와 교육에서 교사와 학생간에 웹을 이용한 새로운 인터페이스를 열 수 있게 되었다. 형성평가는 교사가 기계적으로 채점하고, 틀렸을 때 이를 교정해 주기보다는 스스로 학습결과의 정답을 확인하고 틀렸을 때 이에 대한 정답을 학생 자신이 찾아내도록 함으로써 형성평가의 과정 그 자체가 학습과정의 일부가 되도록 하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 멀티미디어저작도구로 형성평가 문항을 만들어, 교사와 학생 모두 빠르고 정확하게 채점하여 즉시 결과를 확인하고 feedback 효과를 얻고자 데이터베이스 연동을 이용한 웹 기반 형성평가 방안을 제안한다.
