In pressurized water reactors, the upper head of the reactor pressure vessel (RPV) contains numerous control rod drive mechanism (CRDM) nozzles. These nozzles are fabricated by welding after being inserted into the RPV head with a room temperature shrink fit. The tensile residual stresses caused by this welding are a major factor in primary water stress corrosion cracking (PWSCC). Over the last 15 years, the incidences of cracking in alloy 600 CRDM nozzles have increased significantly. These cracks are caused by PWSCC and have been shown to be driven by the welding residual stresses and operational stresses in the weld region. Various measures are being sought to overcome these problems. The defects resulting from the welding process are often the cause of PWSCC acceleration. Therefore, any weld defects found in the RPV manufacturing process are immediately repaired by repair welding. Detailed finite-element simulations for the Korea Nuclear Reactor Pressure Vessel were conducted in order to predict the magnitudes of the repair weld residual stresses in the tube materials.

Since the emergence of the smartphone and tablet PC whose wireless internet accessibility has improved, personal computing environment has shifted from PCs to mobile web based mobile devices, and therefore the use of information and the communication method have been changing rapidly. Under the circumstance, domestic universities have actively been establishing mobile websites for smartphone users. Such mobile websites, however, focused on diverse functions and a showy design rather than on usability or accessibility, and were developed simply for the purpose of public relations. For this reason, students are now faced with difficulties in using the websites. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel web interface with the consideration of usability and accessibility in order for users to easily use and assess proper information. The matters to be taken into account in developing a mobile website are an intuitive interface design, user experiences, a user customized interface and compliance with web standards.

Recently, due to the rapid increase of pets, there is a need for an integrated pet-related personalized product recommendation service such as feed recommendation using a health status check of pets and various collected data. This paper implements a product recommendation system that can perform various personalized services such as collection, pre-processing, analysis, and management of pet-related data using big data. First, the sensor information worn by pets, customer purchase patterns, and SNS information are collected and stored in a database, and a platform capable of customized personalized recommendation services such as feed production and pet health management is implemented using statistical analysis. The platform can provide information to customers by outputting similarity product information about the product to be analyzed and information, and finally outputting the result of recommendation analysis.

This study determines the implementation status of the improvement being made to Korean university libraries. An e-mail survey was conducted targeting 24 Korean university libraries. Conclusions after analysing the responses of the survey were as follows:(1) 24 university libraries implemented 88 different methods of operating their libraries. In other words each library implemented an average 3.67 different methods operating.(2) Twelve universities initiated their improvement schemes in 2008, ten universities initiated their improvement schemes in 2007, nine universities initiated their improvement schemes in 2005, eight universities initiated their improvement schemes in 2010 and seven universities initiated their improvement schemes in 2009. Most university libraries implemented their improvement after 2005.(3) Most university libraries improvement schemes entailed online tours, special events, personal customized services, and SMS services. We noted that online reference services such as the Wiki Service, Twitter, Facebook, Cyworld were not initiated.

With the development of treatment of hard and soft tissue around the implants, the implant restoration is increasingly used in the maxillary anterior region which is very important aesthetically. However, the aesthetic reconstruction of the maxillary anterior region is still challenged. Three following conditions should be fully satisfied for aesthetic prosthesis restoration; reconstruction of hard tissue, soft tissue and harmonic prosthesis. In this case report, hard and soft tissue augmentations were performed at atrophied maxillary incisor. Additionally, customized impression coping and provisional restoration were used to make the final restoration.

In general, drivers need a self-interest information to decide their routes. So, non-governmental sectors, such as Internet Portal Company, make and provide user-oriented contents for drivers in a hurry. But, VMS which is the typical public media always provides traffic-information for drivers without weighting personal characteristics and considering transportation conditions. So in this research, we searched importance and preference of traffic-information contents as IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis)result. We can draw the conclusion that the improvement of traffic-information contents focused on users(drivers) is needed. Specially, we proposed the strategy of VMS according to traffic conditions.

This study investigated a current situation of cable TV in order to seek and suggest cable TV's competitive superiority in the era of multiplatform media marketplace. This study suggested cable TV's direction from two aspects, short-term and mid and long-term strategies. As a result, it recommended that cable TV industry need to establish content circulation representatives, and reinforce multiformat contents suitable for various multiplatform uses, digital cable promotion, production of SO's originated programs, HD VOD, bundling services and diverse programs. As a long-term strategy, this study also suggested cable TV industry need to cooperate with smart TV industry in order to widen openness of its platform, and to provide not only diverse contents but also applications by offering two-way, mobile, and on-demand contents and services. Finally, this study proposed cable TV is needed to move towards a comprehensive media portal, which is a contents aggregator with the aforementioned business strategies.

최근 세계적으로 한국에 대한 인식이 좋아짐으로써 한국으로 유학이나 여행을 오는 외국인이 많아지고 있다. 외국은 다양한 문화와 언어를 가지고 있고 그 외국의 문화와 언어에 익숙하지 않은 많은 식당에서 그들은 식사함에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 우리 학교의 경우에서도 마찬가지로 유학 와 있는 한국어가 서툰 학생들이 한국에서 가장 불편한 일 중 하나가 식당에서 음식을 시키는 것이라고 할 정도로 식사가 제한되어 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 QR 코드를 메뉴판에 부착하여 그 QR 코드를 찍기만 하면 바로 원하는 언어를 선택할 수 있고, 그들의 언어로 음식에 대한 설명이 나타나는 시스템을 제안하고 개발하였다. 제안한 시스템은 종교에 따라 먹지 못하거나, 식습관에 따라 먹지 않는 음식이 있는 외국인들 역시 전자 메뉴판을 이용함으로 어려움을 해결 할 수 있다. 제안한 시스템은 그들 주변에 어떤 식당이 있고 어떤 음식이 있는지 쉽게 알 수 있고 그 어플을 사용하는 사람들과 소통할 수 있는 어플리케이션을 제작함으로써 유학생뿐만 아닌 일반 관광객들을 대상으로도 적극적으로 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 기대가 된다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a new designed splint on the hand function. A new design splint that enlarges the area between thumb and index finger was manufactured using 3D printing. After wearing a new splint the patient was possible to open thumb and hold a small object. She showed improvement in overall hand function and could move eight blocks in box and block test. But grasping a cup without a handle has become more difficult than before. Also there is a disadvantage that it could not be fixed by water. This study is meaningful in that it is the first splint application study using 3D printing. In the future, we expect that various patient-specific splints will be developed through 3D printing in the field of occupational therapy.

이 연구는 초등교육에서 사이버가정학습의 참여를 저해하는 요인을 도출하고, 그 요인 중 가장 영향을 많이 미치는 요인을 찾음으로써 참여율을 제고하는데 목적이 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 선행연구 분석을 통해 8가지 잠정적 저해요인(학습동기 및 태도의 문제, 컴퓨터에 대한 부담감, 컴퓨터 사용의 어려움, 새로운 학습방법의 어려움, 학습설계의 문제, 상호작용의 어려움, 화면설계의 문제, 환경상의 문제)를 도출하였다. 이에 따라 33문항으로 구성된 설문지를 제작하여 사이버가정학습을 실시하고 있는 초등학교(3학년~6학년 학생 429명)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 분석한 결과, 초등교육에서 사이버가정학습 참여 저해에 영향을 주는 요인은 학습동기 및 태도의 문제, 컴퓨터 사용의 어려움, 컴퓨터에 대한 부담감, 새로운 학습방법의 어려움, 학습설계의 문제 이었다. 이중에서 참여 저해에 대한 영향력은 컴퓨터에 대한 부담감, 새로운 학습방법에 대한 어려움, 컴퓨터 사용의 어려움, 학습설계의 문제 순으로 4가지였다. 즉, 컴퓨터에 대한 부담감, 새로운 학습방법에 대한 어려움, 컴퓨터 사용의 어려움, 학습설계의 문제가 적을수록 지속할 가능성이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 초등교육에서 사이버가정학습 참여율을 제고하기 위해서 다음과 같은 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 첫째, 초등학생을 대상으로 한 사이버가정학습 운영 시 컴퓨터에 대한 부담감이나 새로운 학습방법에 대한 어려움, 컴퓨터 사용의 어려움이 있는지 고려해 초등학생에 맞는 적절한 학습설계를 구축하는 것이 중요하다. 둘째, 초등교육에서 사이버가정학습의 참여 저해요인에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 컴퓨터에 대한 부담감을 줄이기 위해 학습자가 컴퓨터에 대한 두려움을 없애주고 컴퓨터가 학습에 유용하다고 느낄 수 있도록 초등학생을 위한 맞춤형 교수설계 및 콘텐츠 개발로 컴퓨터에 쉽게 접근하고 즐거움을 느낄 수 있도록 유도해야 한다.
