대구 수정란의 질병 제어에 의한 부화율 향상 연구

  • 대구 인공종묘 생산 기술 개발의 일환으로 수정란에 기생하여 폐사를 유발하는 세균 및 세균 감염 경로를 파악함으로써 수정란의 생존율과 부화율 향상을 위하여 본 실험을 실시하였다. 세균 감염 경로를 파악하기 위하여 난소와 정소 자체 세균 감염 여부를 조사하였다. 일반배지 (BHIA)와 비브리오 선택배지 (TCBS)를 사용하여 세균검사를 실시하였다. 난소의 세균 검사는 생식소 내부를 일부 절개한 후 멸균 roop를 찔러 세균을 검사하였고, 정소는 채정하기 전 복부를 절개하여 멸균 roop로서 적출하여 배지에 도말한 후 배양하였다. 수정란 내 세균 수는 수정란을 각각 20개씩 샘플하여 난 외부에 기생하는 세균을 제거하기 위하여 난소독제로 이용되고 있는 benzalkonium 0.1%로 1분간 소독한 후 멸균 생리식염수로 3회 세척하여 호모게나이즈하여 검사하였다. 호모게나이즈한 액 중 100${\mu}\ell$를 pipetting하여 일반배지(BHIA)에 도말하여 인큐베이터에서 배양하였다. 난소와 정소 내에서 세균이 검출됨에 따라 수정 시 세균 감염을 억제하기 위하여 자외선 살균해수와 일반해수를 수정액으로 사용하여 발생율을 비교 시험하였다. 수정 시간은 1분으로 동일하게 적용하였으며, 수정 용기는 멸균 처리된 일회용 100$m\ell$ 플라스틱 용기를 사용하였다. 수정 후 과다한 정자를 제거하기 위한 세란은 1$\ell$ 멸균 비이커에서 5회 30분 가량 실시하여 정자를 제거하였고 멸균 봉으로 저어주면서 수정란의 점착력을 제거하였다. 수정란은 100$\mu\textrm{m}$ 그물망으로 수정란 유실을 방지한 플라스틱 용기에 수용하여 유효수량 270$\ell$ FRP 수조에 수용하여 3$\ell$/min 환수하였고, 수온은 자연수온 1$^{\circ}C$로 유지하였다. 발생율은 만능투영기로 3회 측정하였다. 수정 후 세균과 기생충에 의한 수정란의 폐사를 억제하기 위하여 수정 직후, 수정 후 1일, 2일째 oxytetracycline과 iodine 처리에 따른 발생율 변화를 조사하였다. 발생율은 만능투영기로 조사하였고, 시험구별로 3회 측정하였다. 경과 일수별로 약제 처리는 약제 미처리 수정란 중 정상적인 발생이 이루어지고 있는 것을 선별하여 조사하였다. 약제 처리에 따른 배체 발생 단계는 수정 후 1일째는 상실기, 2일째는 포배기였다. 수정란 및 대구 자어에서 분리된 V. splendidus 에 의한 폐사를 예방하기 위해 in vivo에서 oxytetracycline 외 5종의 항생제를 대상으로 96well plate에서 최고 농도 250ppm부터 2 fold로 단계 희석하여 $25^{\circ}C$에서 48시간 배양하여 MIC를 조사하였다. 세균 감염경로 파악을 위하여 난소, 정소 및 정자에서 세균을 분리한 결과 일반배지 및 비브리오 선택배지에서 모두 균이 검출되었고, 균 동정 결과 터봇 자어에서 검출된 것으로 보고된(Gatesoupe et al., 1999) V. splendidus로 나타났다. 수정액과 정자 및 미수정란의 세균 분리 결과 일반배지에서 3$\times$10/ml ~ 7$\times$10/ml로 균이 검출되었다. 수정액을 일반해수와 자외선 살균 해수를 사용하여 발생율을 비교한 결과 수정 후 3일째 발생율은 자외선 살균해수 72.3%, 일반해수 52.7%였으며, 수정 후 7일째 40.9%와 25.1%로 자외선 살균해수가 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 수정 후 경과 일수별로 oxytetracycline과 Iodine을 처리한 결과 수정 직후 처리한 시험구는 7일째 19.8%와 18.9%로 대조구 23.1%와 유의적인 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 수정 후 1일째 처리한 시험구는 54.5%와 56.8%, 수정후 2일째 처리구는 47.9%와 50.6%로 두 시험구 모두 대조구와 수정 직후 처리구보다 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 수정란 및 대구 자어에서 분리된 V. splendidus 에 의한 폐사를 예방하기 위해 in vivo에서 항생제 종류별 MIC 조사 결과 oxytetracycline이 0.48ppm으로 가장 효과가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Rotation and Size Invariant Fingerprint Recognition Using The Neural Net (회전과 크기변화에 무관한 신경망을 이용한 지문 인식)

  • In this paper, the rotation and size invariant fingerprint recognition using the neural network EART (Extended Adaptive Resonance Theory) is studied ($515{\times}512$) gray level fingerprint images are converted into the binary thinned images based on the adaptive threshold and a thinning algorithm. From these binary thinned images, we extract the ending points and the bifurcation points, which are the most useful critical feature points in the fingerprint images, using the $3{\times}3$ MASK. And we convert the number of these critical points and the interior angles of convex polygon composed of the bifurcation points into the 40*10 critical using the weighted code which is invariant of rotation and size as the input of EART. This system produces very good and efficient results for the rotation and size variations without the restoration of the binary thinned fingerprints.

Design of MMT-based Broadcasting System for UHD Video Streaming over Heterogeneous Networks (이 기종 망에서의 UHD 비디오 전송을 위한 MMT 기반 방송 시스템 설계)

  • Even if the demands for ultra-high-quality multimedia contents are increasing, it is difficult to produce, encode, play and transport ultra-high-quality contents under the existing broadcasting environment. By the reason, various technologies for the UHD contents have been developed in order to satisfy the user's needs. In this paper, we propose a design methodology of a broadcasting system, which consists of two parts, for UHD services with two parts. At the transmit part of the proposed system can encode a video into several layered-bitstreams hierarchically, and then transport each bitstream over heterogeneous networks. The receiver part can play the received video by composing the separated bitstreams. The proposed system can adaptively provide both HD and UHD contents according to user's reception conditions by using the heterogeneous networks.

  • Grouting is reinforcement or cutoff method which uses the hardening agent which is typically represented by portland cement and injected into the ground or the structure. When mixing the cement in powder form with water, the particles tend to cohere each other. Once they cohered, the particle size tends to become larger while injection efficiency becomes lower. This study, in a bid to reduce the cohesion of cement, the screen was set inside the grout mixer so that the cement particles are separated while vibrating them. To validate the effect of vibration screen, comparison test was conducted by using ordinary portland cement, slag cement and micro cement. Viscosity test, bleeding test and grain-size analysis indicated that the characteristics varied significantly after passing through the vibration filter. It is expected that the vibration filter installed inside the grout mixer will reduce the cement cohesion when mixing with water.

  • Based on the 'Government 3.0', the government opens the public data and encourages the active use in the private sector. Recently, the spatial and statistical information that is one of the public data is being widely used in the various web business as a high value-added information. In this study, we propose an architecture of high-availability, high-reliability and high-performance open platform which can provide a variety of services such as searching, analysis, data mining, and thematic mapping. In particular, we present two different system architectures for the government and the public services, by reflecting the importance of the information security and the respective utilization in the private and public sectors. We also compared a variety of server architecture configurations such as a clustered server configuration, a cloud-based virtual server configuration, and a CDN server configuration, in order to design a cost- and performance-effective spatial-statistical information open platform.

  • Recently, there has been an increasing number of cases in which important data (personal information, technology, etc.) of national and public institutions are leaked to the outside world. Surveys show that the largest cause of such leakage accidents is "insiders." Insiders of organization with the most authority can cause more damage than technology leaks caused by external attacks due to the organization. This is due to the characteristics of insiders who have relatively easy access to the organization's major assets. This study aims to present an optimized property selection model for detecting such abnormalities through supervised learning algorithms among machine learning techniques using actual data such as CrossNet data transfer system transmission log, e-mail transmission log, and personnel information, which safely transmits data between separate areas (security area and non-security area) of the business network and the Internet network.

The Public Choice Analysis of Korean Mobile Telecom Policy (이동통신정책의 공공선택 분석)

  • In Korea mobile phone subscribers exceeded 1 million people in 1995, and ten million people in 1998. Prevalence of the mobile phone increased dramatically over 110% compared to the population. Almost every family members including children uses more than one mobile terminal. Mobile phone is obviously more necessary good than washer, vacuum cleaner and passenger car. Our daily life are conveniently positioned with mobile communication, but communication related costs including the price of the device and service charges become a big burden on the household. But the government does not seem to do the right role at the right time to prevent the market failure to maximize consumer welfare and social welfare through supporting fair competition. This principal-agent problem issues of mobile communication policies will be understood in perspective of public choice against joint use of the mobile communication network, number portability, separation of phone distribution and phone service, network neutrality, mobile phone subsidy since the early 1990s when mobile phone service was introduced in Korea.

  • In this study, the treatment flow of the recyclables(paper, plastic, metal, etc.) collected and separated from MSW was investigated throughout entire phase from separation and collection to final disposal. Based on the site survey, most recyclables came into six material recovery facilities were comparatively managed well. However, some of recyclables showed irrelatively transportation flow. Because the main income source of the recyclables transportation companies is profit margin between treatment and transportation cost based on economics only therefore, it occurs an unnecessary route and long distance transportation while going to final destination. This unreasonable system should be a serious problem relating establishment of the resource recycling system. As a result of this study, in order to establish the reasonably resource recycling system, recycling center including material recovery facility has to manage the recyclables generated in close range preferentially. Also integrated its treatment system over a wide area will need to be considered as a basic step for the reasonable reasonably resource recycling system.

  • KBS and ETRI have co-developed an advanced DOCR(Digital On Channel Repeater) which has an equalization and pre-distortion function and can be operated properly under lower isolation of reception and transmission antennas. Field tests of the DOCR were performed twice in Suwon area in 2004 and 2005. This paper summarizes the characteristics of the DOCR system and field test results in Suwon. The changes in DOCR coverage according to the different generations of ATSC DTV receivers were also analyzed. Basic concept to apply the DOCR system in DTV broadcasting networks in Korea is suggested through test results.

  • Differentiated service networks, based on bandwidth broker, perform the control and management of QoS provisioning for the QoS guaranteed services, However, the centralized bandwidth broker model has a scalability problem since it has centralized resource management for the admission control function of all call attempts, Therefore, in this paper, we proposea novel adaptive admission control mechanism according to the attempted call status for enhancing the scalability under the centralized bandwidth broker model in IP differentiated service networks, The proposed mechanism decouples the function of admission control from the bandwidth broker, So, the ingress edge node performs the admission control and the bandwidth broker performs the resource management and QoS provisioning, We also introduce an edge-to-edge path concepts and the ingress edge node performs the admission control under the allocated bandwidth to eachpath. The allocated bandwidth per path adaptively varies according to the status of the attempted calls, This mechanism can significantly reduce the number of communication message between the bandwidth broker and each edge node in the network and increase the bandwidth utilization via adaptable resource allocation, In this paper we study the adaptive admission control operation and show the efficient and extensive improvement through the performance evaluation.
