A Study on Reduced Variance Self-Tuning Algorithm Using a Variable Forgetting Factor (시변 망각 인자를 사용하는 최소 자승 추정의 극점 -배치 자기동조 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • Pole assignment controller with variable forgetting factor is generalizaed to allow the output and/or input variance to be reduced. The algorithm can give significant reductions in variance for little extra computational effort and is presented for servo-tracking using leat-squares estimation. Moreover, the use of a variable forgetting factor with correct choice of information bound can avoid 'blowing-up' of the covariance matrix of the estimates and subsequent unstable control.

  • 전차탄의 철갑기술과 전차의 방호기술의 경쟁적인 연구개발로 성능이 지속적으로 발전되면서 전차방호면에서는 피탄되기전에 탄을 인식하여 파괴하는 능동파괴장치로,대전차 기술면에서는 취약한 전차의 상부를 발사후 망각개념의 지능탄으로 타격하는 기술로 발전되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 군사선진국들이 개발중인 전차포 지능찬의 특성을 조사하고 새로운 체계모델을 설정하여 비교상쇄연구를 수행하였으며, 향후 무기체계로의 가용성을 분석하였다.

  • 우리는 흔히 ‘살아있음’에 대한 가치를 망각한 채 그날그날을 보내버리고, 어느날 갑자기 우리 앞에 닥친 ‘건강에 대한 위협’이라는 놈 때문에 당황하며 또 더러는 좌절하게 된다. 심한 경우, 우리의 의지 따위(?)와는 관계없이 생명은 “죽음” 앞에 무릎을 꿇고 만다. 불가항력의 경우도 있기는 하지만 대개는 시기를 놓쳐버리는 때가 허다하므로 뒤늦게 후회해 보았댔자 무슨 소용이 있으랴. 어린이 심장병 집단검사만 해도 그렇다. 필요한 일이라는 것은 알지만 실천으로 옮겨지는 예는 드물다. 여기 선천성 심장병의 일종인 “동맥관개존증”이라는 병을 앓고있다가 학교에서 실시한 심전도 집단검사에서 조기발견하여 시기적절하게 치료를 끝내었고, 이제는 건강한 모습으로 미래를 향해 달음박질하는 한소녀를 소개한다. 혹시라도 건강에 관심을 두지 않았던 사람이 있다면 그 귀감이 될 수 있기를 바란다.

A Study of Smart Convergence Design of English Vocabulary Learning Contents Applying the Periodic Repetitive Method (주기적 반복법을 적용한 영단어 학습콘텐츠 스마트 융합 설계 연구)

  • This paper suggests designing how to acquire English vocabularies on the smart devices based on the research that a ground-breaking English Vocabulary Learning Contents needs developing. The method makes it possible to develop the contents which helps the learners to master English vocabularies effectively on the smart phone. The core idea of this paper is as in the following: 1) English learners learn 30 vocabularies for three minutes 10 times (one is for a new learning and the other nine ones are for reviews about the first learning) a day. 2) Considering Ebbinghaus Forgetting Curve, the reflection study proposes to provide the learners with three times' reviews: one day, 10days, and 30days later from which they learn the first 30 vocabularies. This contents is mainly made up of 5 developing sections (1)to generate App ID, (2)to access App, (3)to set up Alarm, (4)to process Word learning, and (5)to monitor the result of learning. This proposed idea is optimized to enhance the memory by Ebbinghaus Periodic Repetitive Method, which makes the learners satisfied with their English vocabulary learning.

Smart Card User Identification Using Low-sized Face Feature Information (경량화된 얼굴 특징 정보를 이용한 스마트 카드 사용자 인증)

  • PIN(Personal Identification Number)-based identification method has been used to identify the user of smart cards. However, this type of identification method has several problems. Firstly, PIN can be forgotten by owners of the card. Secondly, PIN can be used by others illegally. Furthermore, the possibility of hacking PIN can be high because this PIN type matching process is performed on terminal. Thus, in this paper we suggest a new identification method which is performed on smart card using face feature information. The proposed identification method uses low-sized face feature vectors and simple matching algorithm in order to get around the limits in computing capability and memory size of smart card.

  • Previously, there were no studies that were not aware of the importance of video, were interested in the educational value of Flipped Learning, and there were many wrong experiments because they did not understand Flipped Learning. Therefore, an accurate understanding of Flipped Learning is needed. This study proposed the caution of video learning of Flipped Learning and presented the papers and grounds to support to examine the educational value of Flipped Learning. A video of the lecture should be produced with a core content of 10 to 15 minutes, and found that the educational value of Flipped Learning lies in self-directed learning, cooperative learning, habruta, overcoming the oblivion curve and metacognition. It is hoped that this study will provide good guidance and direction of education for teachers who have difficulty Flipped Learning.

Adaptive Model-Free-Control-based Steering-Control Algorithm for Multi-Axle All-Terrain Cranes using the Recursive Least Squares with Forgetting (망각 순환 최소자승을 이용한 다축 전지형 크레인의 적응형 모델 독립 제어 기반 조향제어 알고리즘)

  • This paper presents the algorithm of an adaptive model-free-control-based steering control for multi-axle all-terrain cranes for which the recursive least squares with forgetting are applied. To optimally control the actual system in the real world, the linear or nonlinear mathematical model of the system should be given for the determination of the optimal control inputs; however, it is difficult to derive the mathematical model due to the actual system's complexity and nonlinearity. To address this problem, the proposed adaptive model-free controller is used to control the steering angle of a multi-axle crane. The proposed model-free control algorithm uses only the input and output signals of the system to determine the optimal inputs. The recursive least-squares algorithm identifies first-order systems. The uncertainty between the identified system and the actual system was estimated based on the disturbance observer. The proposed control algorithm was used for the steering control of a multi-axle crane, where only the steering input and the desired yaw rate were employed, to track the reference path. The controller and performance evaluations were constructed and conducted in the Matlab/Simulink environment. The evaluation results show that the proposed adaptive model-free-control-based steering-control algorithm produces a sound path-tracking performance.

  • Recently, OTP (One-time-Password) log-in methods have been used in many areas to prevent leakage of personal information and enhance security. The OTP method is primarily used for security of bank personal account, this is one of the sophisticated security ways in which one time password is generated and checked to enhance security. Digital door locks frequently used in everyday life require convenience and safety simultaneously. Meanwhile, related technologies for digital door locks are evolving, but methods for enhancement of security are still unsatisfactory. Generally, the digital door lock using password input type has been most commonly used and especially it provides more convenience, but it has some problems such as password exposure and password oblivion. Therefore, in this study, we propose and implement the OTP-based digital door lock system with enhanced security and convenience features but without the risk of password exposure and oblivion.
