마켓 KU 프로젝트 (Market KU Project)

  • The current design paradigm shift which has been in progress around the world would be a good opportunity for Korea, which has led the age of information, to build design competence and gain international competitiveness. In addition, it would be a good idea for colleges as well as firms to develop a new educational system and create academia-industry-research synergy. This paper researches the market KU project promoted by Design Venture KU which has been established by the College of Artand Design of Konkuk University as a part of differentiation strategy. The methods to improve the competitiveness of Korean fashion design by uniting college creativity and market practicality are as follows: First, for convergence of creativity and practicality, it is necessary to come up with a systematic design-based educational system. In other words, the undergraduate program needs to gradually expand courses by focusing on creativity instead of functions while the graduate program should be able to develop design pattern, textile and marketing products and secure the market to gain competitiveness as a business incubator. Second, the working-level engineers as well as professors will be encouraged to participate in special lectures or seminars and take necessary lessons. In addition, academia-industry cooperation courses will be further strengthened. It is also important to actively participate in an official contest or exhibition and receive a prize. Third, to elicit creativity from students, it is necessary to help them think in a flexible and experimental way with voluntary and interesting programs. As mentioned above, it is expected that 'Market KU Project' would help students build expertise by offering them a chance to experience the real world and become the world's leading designers in Korean fashion design.

주니어 마켓 소비자의 의복행동에 대한 성격 유형적 접근 (A Study of Junior - Market Consumer Personality Types and their Effect on Clothing Behaviors)

  • This study classified consumer personality types of the junior market and examined their clothing behaviors. The subjects were composed of 283 male and 276 female high-school-age consumers. Data were collected through questionnaires. Personality types were classified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Data were analysed with the frequency, $X^2$, factor analysis, Cronbach's $\alpha$, ANOVA and Duncan tests using Windows SPSS 12. There was a significant difference (P<0.001) between fashion involvement and the 8 classified personality types. In fashion involvement, the extroverted feeling type was significantly higher than the other types. In brand image orientation, the extroverted thinking type was significantly higher than the other types (P<0.05). In fashion ad-orientation, the extroverted feeing type was also significantly higher than the other types. In active or passive complaining behaviors, there was no difference. In the selection criterion for clothes of color and design and style, the extroverted feeling type was also significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05).

상품김치의 표준화를 위한 특성 분석 (Characteristics Analysis for the Standardization of Commercial Kimchi)

  • 서울 등의 재래시장 및 대형 마켓 등지에서 판매되고 있는 상품김치 36종을 수집하여 pH, 산도, 색도 및 매운맛 특성을 조사하였다. 그 결과 숙성 정도가 pH $3.88{\sim}6.20$, 총산도 $0.28{\sim}1.13%$로 제조 즉시부터 어느 정도 과숙된 김치까지 다양하였다. 김치의 매운맛과 색도에 영향을 주는 요인을 고춧가루로 보고 고추의 매운맛 성분인 capsaicinoids 함량을 측정한 결과 $018{\sim}2.02\;mg%$를 나타내었고, ASTA값은 수분 함량을 고려하여 환산한 결과 가장 낮은 시료는 0.52, 가장 높은 시료는 4.1이었다. 즉 상품김치의 경우 규격화되어 있지 않고, 국내시장에서 발효단계, 매운맛 및 붉은색 정도가 다양하게 판매되고 있었다.

중국 오픈마켓 패션상품의 인기도와 유형이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Fashion Product Popularity and Type on Purchase Intention in China's Open Market)

  • This study aims to explore the influence of product popularity signals on purchase intention in China's open market, with a focus on understanding the interaction effect of fashion product types. The popularity signals were measured through sales volume and review volume. For the experiment, a 2 (sales volume: high vs low) × 2 (review volume: high vs low) × 2 (fashion product type: trend vs basic) factorial design was employed. The findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, sales volume and review volume, as signals of the popularity of fashion products, did not appear to have a direct effect on purchase intention. Second, the impact of fashion product popularity on purchase intention was found to be contingent on the type of fashion product. When purchasing trendy fashion products, purchase intention was found to be higher under low popularity conditions compared to high popularity conditions. When purchasing basic fashion products, purchase intention was found to be higher under high popularity conditions compared to low popularity conditions. These findings contribute valuable insights for developing marketing strategies that leverage popularity signals for fashion products in China's open markets. Furthermore, the study improves understanding of online fashion product purchasing behavior among Chinese consumers.
