Controller design for microgyroscope and performance analysis at various vacuum level (마이크로 자이로스코프를 위한 제어기 설계 및 진공도에 따른 성능 분석)

  • 본 논문에서는 진동형 마이크로 자이로스코프를 위한 폐루프 제어기를 설계하였으며 실험을 통하여 설계된 제어기의 성능을 검증하였다. 일반적으로 진동형 자이로스코프를 동작시키기 위해서는 구동축과 검출축의 공진 모드가 일치되도륵 설계를 하며 높은 감도를 얻기 위해서는 이 두 모드의 Q값이 클수록 유리하다. 하지만 이러한 개루프 상에서 동작 하에서는 대역폭과 선형성 등의 성능에 제약을 가져오게 되며 이를 개선하기 위해 폐루프 제어기가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 진공도에 따른 Q값의 변화와 이에 따른 제어기의 성능을 분석하였으며 실험 결과로부터 설계된 제어기가 만족할만한 성능의 개선을 가져옴을 확인하였다.

  • The ultrasonic piezo motor is a new type motor that has an excellent performance and many useful features that electromagnetic motors do not have. But, it suffers from severe system non-linearities and parameter variations especially during speed control. Therefore, it is difficult to accomplish satisfactory control performance by using the conventional PID controller. In this paper, to achieve the precise control for linear type ultrasonic motor was analyzed as a function of response time and change with a driving time. Also, we propose controller that combines STEP controller and PD controller that have error of ${\mu}m$ about liner type ultrasonic motor.

  • In this study, design and control method using low cost Micro-controller(MCU) for inverter driving circuit in fluorescence lamp is presented. Soft starting technique is adopted to reduce switching loss and moment deterioration which are induced by high speed switching frequency in inverter ballast. Performance of the ballast stabilizer and the lighting characteristic of the fluorescence lamp have been improved by stabilizing switching pulses through the Pulse Width Modulation control.

  • 간단한 회로구조의 소형 LED 백라이트 제어기의 구현을 위하여 2.5W LED 4개를 각 섹터로 구분지어서 섹터별로 제어를 하는데 목적을 두었다. LED의 전류를 제어하기 위한 스위칭 구동회로 부분을 설계, 구현하고 스위칭을 구동하기 위한 PWM(Pulse Width Modulation)을 마이크로컨트롤러를 이용하여 제어하였다. 섹터제어 회로 부분을 구현하기 위하여 저가의 8비트 마이크로컨트롤러인 PIC16C73B를 사용하였다. 또한, RS-232 통신을 이용하여 각 섹터의 LED 제어 및 휘도를 제어하였다. 이러한 구성을 바탕으로 제어기를 제작 및 실험을 하였으며, 본 논문을 통하여 실험의 타당성을 증명하도록 한다.

  • Dual Buck Inverter 구조를 갖는 35W 세라믹 MHL용 전자식 안정기의 제어회로를 설계하였다. 제어회로는 크게 2가지로 나눌 수 있는데 PFC IC를 이용하여 Inverter의 전압과 전류를 센싱하여 80kHz로 Inverter를 구동하기 위한 제어부분과 시간의 경과에 따른 PFC의 출력 전압 제어, Ignition Pulse 제어 및 무부하 보호, 램프의 점등 상태에 따른 Inverter 구동 주파수 제어부분으로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문은 마이크로 컨트롤러(ATmega8)를 이용하여 시간의 경과에 따른 안정기의 제어부분에 대해 설명하고 이를 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

  • Nonlinear vibration characteristics of a piezoelectric-type micro actuator used for hard disk drives are experimentally studied. The nonlinear characterisitics include hysteresis, superharmonic resonance, jump phenomenon, and shifting of natural frequencies. The vibration modes and frequencies of the commercial actuator of the Hutchinson's Magnum series are measured using a laser vibrometer. From harmonic excitation to the PZT acturator, we observe interesting hysteresis patterns with 3 times input frequency. It is shown that the micro actuator has the typical 3 times superhamonic resonances coupled to the first torsional and sway modes of the suspension.

  • We present a micro-positioning stage that has minimized geometrical error and can drive in the 4-axis. This stage divided into two parts: $Z\theta_x$ $\theta_y$, motion stage and$\theta_z$ motion stage. These stages are constructed in flexure hinges, piezoelectric actuators and displacement scnsors. The dynamic model for each stage is obtained and their FE (finite element) models are made. Using the Lagrange's equation, the motion of equation is found. Through the parametric analysis and FE analysis, sensitiv~ty of the design parameters is executed. Finally, fundamental frequencies, maximum stress, and displacement sensitivity for each stage are obtained. We expect that this micro-positioning stage be a useful micro-alignment device for various applications.

  • A new valveless micropump for bi-directional application has been developed and tested. The micropump was fabricated on silicon and glass substrates by micromachining process. The micropump in this study consists of a membrane actuator, a pumping chamber, fluidic channels and two piezoelectric ceramic films. The channels and pumping chamber were etched on a glass wafer and the membrane was made on a silion wafer which is actuated by a piezoelectric ceramic (PZT) film. The geometry of the micropump was optimized by numerical analysis and the performance of the micropump was investigated by the experiments. The maximum flow rate was $323{\mu}L/min$ and the maximum back pressure was 294 Pa when the membrane actuator of $10{\times}10mm^2$ was driven at 130 Hz and 385 V.

  • A Hybrid type LPM(Linear Pulse Motor) is designed as single side stator structure. Experimental results are shown that the static and dynamic characteristics. By the computer simulation, the permanent magnet design method is also clarified to desired thrust force. And microstep driver is adopted to the position controller to the designed LPM. The driver suppressed position errors within ${\pm}1501{\mu}m$.
