1946년 6월 1일 미군정하에서 문을 연 국립마산요양원은 반세기 동안 국립마산결핵요양소, 국립중앙결핵요양소, 마산결핵요양소, 국립마산병원, 국립마산결핵병원으로 명칭이 바뀌면서 우리나라 결핵치료의 중심적 지위를 확고하게 지켜왔으며 흉곽성형술(胸廓成形術)과 폐절제술을 처음으로 실시하여 흉부외과 개척의 길을 열기도 했다. 또한 1951년 우리나라에서 최초로 결핵약제 내성검사법을 연구 개발하여 화학요법 발전에 새 정기를 마련했다.

최근에 설치된 마산기상대의 windprofiler의 기기보정을 위한 비교관측을 하기에 앞서 마산기상대의 기상 관측자료를 이용하여 마산지역의 기후 변화 현황을 알아보았다. 그 결과, 마산지역은 최근 5년간 평년에 비하여 건조해졌으나 연강수량과 강수강도는 약한 증가현상을 나타내었다. 그리고 $20^{\circ}C$의 기온빈도가 증가하여 마산지역이 상당히 따뜻해 진 것으로 나타났다. 마산연보(2006)에 의하면 마산시에는 자동차 등록 수는 매년 증가하여 2005년 현재 138,241대를 나타내어 도시화로 인한 인공열원이 증가하였다고 볼 수 있다. 그렇지만 인구는 1998년 435,343명을 최고치로 나타낸 이후 매년 감소하는 추세를 보이고 있으며 사업체수 역시 1995년 35,622개 이후 점차 감소하고 있는 추세이다. 더불어 도심지 공원은 2005년 현재 91개까지 증가하였으며 공원 총면적 또한 2001년 이후 계속 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 마산지역의 기온이 $1985{\sim}2005$년 평년치보다 최근 5년간 상당히 따뜻해졌지만 자동차로 인한 인공열원의 증가가 인구 및 사업체 감소, 도심지 공원수와 면적 및 해풍 빈도의 증가와 상쇄되어 도시화의 영향이 다소 약하게 나타났으나 지구온난화와 더불어 마산지역의 기온도 상승하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 향후 지구온난화에 대한 영향을 지속적으로 조사할 필요가 있을 것으로 생각된다.

"정박지"라 함은 기본적인 수역시설의 하나로 선박이 정박할 수 있는 장소로 선박들은 이곳에 투묘함으로써 법적, 물리적 보호를 받게 된다. 정박지는 해당 항만에 입 출항 대기 또는 작업대기 등의 목적을 위해 해당항만에서 지정 고시하여 운영하고 있다. 하지만, 마산항의 정박지의 경우 비상정박지를 제외하고는 흘수 6m이상의 선박이 투묘 대기할 수 있는 정박지가 부재하다. 이런 사정으로 현재 마산항 입항대기 선박 및 작업대기 선박들의 경우 지정된 정박지가 아닌 잠정 정박지와 관습적 정박지에 투묘대기하고 있는 실정이다. 이로 인해 선박 및 관제사 모두 법적, 물리적 보호를 받지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 조사는 마산항의 현황파악을 통해 항만 운영, 관제운영 및 이용자 측면에서 마산항의 정박지 추가 필요성에 대한 내용을 검토하여 "마산항의 정박지 지정에 관한 연구"의 기초자료로 이용하고자 한다.

마산지역은 항구도시로 교통과 교역이 흥성한 경남의 대표도시이다. 뿐만 아니라 도농복합도시로 예부터 양돈이 흥해 양돈을 시작한 지 대부분 20~30년 이상이 된 경남지역 양돈산업의 터주대감 중에 하나이다. 지난 7월19일에는 '창립32주년'을 기념하여 전 회원이 참석한 가운데 기념행사를 개최하기도 했다. 마산지부는 오래된 역사만큼이나 양돈 생산성 향상과 개선을 위해 최선의 노력을 기울이고 있다. 이를 위해 마산지부 회원들은 해양매출 저감에 노력하는 한편, 가축분뇨 자원화를 통한 분뇨처리 시스템 구축과 지역 대표 돼지고기 브랜드 사업을 적극 추진하여 지역 양돈산업의 재도약을 위해 매진하고 있었다.

본 연구는 그림 1의 진해만 관측자료를 수집ㆍ분석하여 1989년부터 1994년까지의 5년간의 마산, 진해만의 수질변동 특성 분석 및 Cluster analysis를 통해 및 개의 유사영역으로 구분하여 소해역별 수질환경 공간특성을 파악해 보고, 마산만 준설 및 마산시 하수처리장이 가동된 시기를 전ㆍ후로 수질의 변화 양상을 검증하여 그 실효성을 평가해 봄으로써 오염물질 유입에 대해 능동적 대처방안을 마련하고 체계적인 해역관리를 할 수 있는 기초자료를 마련하고자 하였다. (중략)

본 논문에서는 태풍으로 생기는 폭풍 해일에 취약한 연안 지대의 위험도 분석을 다루고 있다. 그리고 대상 지역을 상습적인 폭풍 해일로 인한 피해가 상습적으로 일어나는 마산만 지역으로 설정하였다. 이 마산만 지역에서 폭풍 해일로 인하여 생기는 연안의 주요 시설에 대한 피해를 물에 잠기는 정도를 중심으로 분석하여 재산피해의 정도를 산정한다. 그리고 이렇게 분석된 재산피해액 자료는 합당한 방재 정책을 결정하는 데 적절히 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

With the tourism industry stagnating due to the recent COVID-19 virus issue, the importance of preparing a plan to resume and revitalize the tourism industry after the end of the COVID-19 is being emphasized. In particular, this researcher paid attention to the development of the horse industry as it can contribute to the differentiation of services as it is an experience-oriented tourism, and it can be said to be a field with a high potential for sustainable development in the future. However, in the domestic horse industry, legal problems related to installation, industrial structural problems organized around horse racing, and demand-based problems were scattered. Therefore, this researcher suggested a way to improve these problems, improve the quality of life of the people, and lead the horse industry to increase the income of rural residents. As a representative example, a legal improvement plan for the expansion and growth of equestrian facilities was presented, and a strategic incubating infrastructure construction plan was presented to support horse industry workers to nurture the horse industry as the 6th industry on their own. This movement will lead to qualitative growth through the conversion of the horse industry into local cultural contents, and not only to expand the base of public demand for the horse industry, but also to maximize the creation of added value through diversification of the horse industry, leading to qualitative growth of the horse industry.

Recently, the development construction of New Masan Container Terminal (1-1 Phase) with private investment would be set for opening in the 2011 year in Masan Port, Korea However, as new container terminals of the Pusan New Port and 'the New Ulsan Container Terminal neighboring Masan Port will be also planned to open around the time, the strategy establishment for Masan Port is required for a keen competition among these ports. To provide it with strategic points, we applied SP model used for customers' behavior method to analyze customer's preference changes with the shifts of the ports' conditions for customers.
