Development and Application of a Digital Certificate Classification Framework: A Configuration Perspective (디지털 인증 분류 프레임워크의 개발과 적용: 상황적 관점)

  • In this paper, we review digital certificate technologies and their applications in e-commerce. Current digital certificate technologies are evaluated and their importance is explained. The configuration of certificate flows from providers to users through software, hardware, and network technologies is described. These five domains and the configuration of digital certificate flows guide our review of the characteristics of digital certificates. We then develop a framework for the classification of digital certificates that integrate these five domains with VeriSign's types and levels of assurance. In order to demonstrate the adequacy of our digital certificate classification framework, we populated it with VeriSign's digital certificates. Within each domain, VeriSign's classes of digital certificates are classified in accordance with the VeriSign type and level of assurance. The results of our analysis suggest that the framework is a useful step in developing a taxonomy of digital certificate technologies. The strengths and weaknesses of the study are discussed, and opportunities for further research are identified and discussed.

  • This paper contains of descriptions of deterioration diagnosis of the surface and a coating layer for maintenance managements of large spatial structures with membrane structure. Membrane is a roofing material of the structures that its performance of durability including its performance of chemical resistance and corrosive resistance is considered to be highly important. In general, the items of diagnosis for maintenance managements such as membrane extensively include the diagnosis of deterioration of the membrane surface, of a coating layer of membrane, the diagnosis of deterioration between a coating layer and fiber, of overall surface of membrane, of the class of ropes, of reinforced belts, and of the cover of rubber. The object of this study that needs maintenance managements of the membrane with PVC and FIFE which are commonly used and shows the diagnosis results of deterioration of the surface and a coating layer.

An Analysis of Three Port Ring Resonator for the Balun-BPF Characteristics (Balun-BPF 특성 구현을 위한 3-단자 링-공진기의 해석)

  • In this paper, we derived the Y-parameter of the recently reported Balun-BPF with a dual mode ring resonator by using the network analysis method. Using the derived Y-parameter we verified that the Balun-BPF structure satisfy the balun conditions. In order to design the Balun-BPF with arbitrary characteristics using the standard BPF design method with ease we derived the immittance slope parameters of the dual mode ring resonator with a load. The notch frequencies are also predicted. By designing with the proposed equations, simulating with a circuit simulator, fabricated and measured a Balun-BPF we confirmed the validation of the equations. The measured data shows bandwidth of 71 MHz and insertion loss of 0.92 dB at the center frequency of 2.46 GHz. It shows the phase imbalance of $174{\sim}181$ degree and the magnitude imbalance within 0.5 dB.

Dynamic Response Simulation of a Heavy Cargo Suspended by Parallel Connected Floating Cranes (병렬 연결된 해상 크레인을 이용한 대형 중량물 인양 작업의 동적 거동 계산 시뮬레이션)

  • In this study, we performed a simulation of the dynamic response of a multibody system to calculate the tension acting on wire ropes connecting floating cranes and a heavy cargo such as a Giga Block weighing over 5000 tons when the cargo is salvaged using parallel connected floating cranes. In this simulation, we supposed that the motion of the floating cranes, barge ship, and heavy cargo has 6 degrees of freedom and that the interaction is determined by constraints among them. In addition, we considered independent hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces as external forces acting on the floating cranes and barge ship. The simulation result can be a basis for verifying the safety of construction methods in which heavy cargo is salvaged by parallel connected floating cranes, and it can also be used to guide the development of such construction methods.

Granulite xenoliths in porphyroblastic gneiss from Mt. Jiri area, SW Sobaegsan massif, Korea (소백산육괴 서남부 지리산지역의 반상변정질 편마암에서 산출되는 백립암질 포획암)

  • Mafic granulite xenoliths are found in precambrian porphyroblastic gneiss of the Mt. Jiri area, SW Sobaegsan massif, Korea. The xenoliths are rounded to ellipsoidal in shape, 50-100 cm in length and coarse-grained with granoblastic and foliated texture. The xenoliths consist of orthopyroxene, garnet, biotite, plagioclase, quartz, ilmenite and secondary orthoamphibole. Orthopyroxene is mostly resorbed and rimmed by coronitic orthoamphiboles. Garnets occur as porphyblasts and are zoned with higher pyrope content in cores than in rims. Geothermo-barometry results yield conditions of about $800-850^{\circ}C$, 6 kb and $500^{\circ}C$, 4 kb for early and retrograde stages of equilibration, respectively. According to available geochronological data, it is suggested that the granulite facies metamorphism occurred prior to 2.1-1.9Ga and that the area was superimposed by the high-grade (over $600-700^{\circ}C$) metamorphism between 1.9-1.7Ga, followed by cooling during uplift.

Treatment of Fracture and Dislocation of Lisfranc joint with Limited Open Reduction, Pin Fixation and Ilizarov External Fixation (제한적 관혈적 정복술, 금속 핀 고정술 및 일리자로프 외고정 기구를 이용한 리스프랑 관절 골절 및 탈구의 치료)

  • Purpose: To evaluate the clinical feature and the results of the treatment of Lisfranc joint fracture/dislocation with limited open reduction, pin fixation and Ilizarov external fixation. Materials and Methods: From June 2001 to May 2003, six patients with Lisfranc fracture/dislocation were treated. The average periods of follow-up was 23 months. After limited open reduction on the second tarso-metatarsal joint, we performed pin fixation of the above joint. On the other Lisfranc joint fracture/dislocation, closed reduction and the application of Ilizarov external fixator was done. This rigid system produced the early partial weight bearing and joint motion of the injured foot and ankle joint. The parameters used were radiographic evaluation, patient's clinical assesment and the AOFAS midfoot score. Results: We used the Myerson's criterier to evaluate the radiographic result. All cases could be achieved more than nearly anatomical reduction. Three cases of excellent and 3 cases of good result could be obtained in the evaluation of the patient's clinical assesment. The average AOFAS midfoot score was 87.2 ($76{\sim}95$) points. Conclusion: The treatment using Ilizarov external fixation on Lisfranc joint fracture/dislocation can be another useful method.

Modeling of Multi-Boom Floating Crane for Lifting Analysis of Offshore Wind Turbine (해상 풍력 발전기 리프팅 해석을 위한 해상 크레인 멀티 붐 모델링)

  • The dynamic responses of a 5 MW wind turbine lifted by a floating crane with two elastic booms are analyzed. Dynamic equations of motions of a multibody system that consists of a floating crane, two elastic booms, and a wind turbine are derived. The six-degree-of-freedom (DOF) motions for the floating crane and the wind turbine are considered in the equations of motions. The hydrostatic force, the hydrodynamic force due to a regular wave, the mooring force, the wire rope force, and the gravitational force are considered as external forces. By solving the equations numerically, the dynamic responses of cargo are simulated. The simulation results are compared with those in the case of one elastic boom. Finally, the dynamic responses of the wind turbine lifted by the floating crane are analyzed under regular wave condition.

  • 초고분자량 폴리에틸렌(UHMWPE)섬유는 현재까지 알려져 있는 섬유중 비강도가 가장 우수하며 강도 또한 최고 40g/d를 나타내는 슈퍼섬유중에 하나이다. UHMWPE섬유는 비교적 간단한 분자구조로 이루어져 있으며 높은 결정화도로 인해 광 안정성 및 자외선 저항성이 우수하며 내마모성도 뛰어나다. 이러한 특성으로 인해 최근 로프 및 어망 등의 산업적 용도 뿐만 아니라 익스트림 스포츠웨어를 포함한 의류소재에도 다양하게 적용되고 있다. 하지만 의류소재 적용에 앞서 초소수성으로 이루어진 분자구조와 낮은 내열성으로 인해 염색이 쉽지 않으며 다양한 색상을 구현하기가 힘든 실정이다. 현재 본 연구실에서는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 UHMWPE섬유에 염색이 가능한 염료를 개발하였으며 보다 다양한 색상을 구현하기 위해 연구를 진행 중이다. 현재 본 연구실에서는 UHMWPE섬유 염색에 있어 Blue, Red, Yellow, Magenta 계열의 색상구현이 가능하며 보다 심색화 된 색상을 구현함으로 인해 의류용 섬유소재 및 산업용 섬유소재에 다양하게 적용할 수 있도록 UHMWPE섬유용 염료합성 실험이 진행되고 있다. 안트라퀴논 및 아조계 염료에 초소수성 알킬체인을 치환함으로써 염료의 소수성을 증가시켜 초소수성 섬유인 UHMWPE섬유에 염착성을 증가시키고 높은 견뢰도 결과를 확보하였다. 또한 내열성이 낮은 특성에도 불구하고 염색 이후 UHMWPE섬유가 가지는 물성에는 큰 변화를 나타내지 않았다.

Design Wind Loads for Catwalk Structures (캣워크 구조물 설계 공기력 산정)

  • 캣워크는 현수교의 주케이블을 가설을 위해 일시적으로 설치하는 공중작업발판으로 주케이블 가설장비와 작업원 등의 하중을 지지한다. 캣워크는 유연한 구조물로서 풍하중에 상당한 변형이 발생한다. 하지만, 국내외를 막론하고 캣워크의 내풍안정성에 대한 연구는 별로 이루어지지 않았다. 거기에 더하여 캣워크에 작용하는 정적 공기력에 대한 정보도 부족하며, 현재 캣워크 단면에 대한 적절한 풍하중을 산정하지 못하고 경험적인 설계가 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 캣워크의 효율적인 내풍설계를 위하여 풍동실험을 통한 충실률과 공기력계수와의 관계를 알아보는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위하여 축척 1/4인 모형을 사용한 풍동실험을 통하여 메쉬망의 크기를 변화시키면서 충실률에 따른 공기력계수를 측정하고 설계식을 제안하고자 한다. 캣워크는 로프와 아울러 가는 철망으로 아래와 양 옆이 막혀 있다. 즉 바람을 직접 받는 부분인 철망은 가는 원형단면으로 구성되어 있다. 원형 단면의 경우에 레이놀즈 수에 따라 항력계수가 크게 변하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 가는 원형 단면으로 둘러싸인 캣워크의 항력계수에 레이놀즈 수가 미치는 영향에 대해서는 연구된 바가 없다. 본 연구에서는 캣워크의 공기력계수에 미치는 레이놀즈 수에 대한 영향을 파악하고자 1/4모형과 1/14모형을 제작하여 최대풍속 30m/s까지 변화시켜가면서 공기력계수를 측정하였다. 이때 레이놀즈 수는 최대 20배까지 차이가 나므로 만약 공기력계수가 레이놀즈 수의 영향을 받는다면 확실히 그 영향을 파악할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 풍동실험을 통해 충실률과 공기력계수와의 관계과 레이놀즈 수의 영향을 살펴보았으며, 정적공기력 계수의 설계식을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻은 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 1. 축척 1/14 및 1/4 모형을 사용하여 다양한 풍속에서 공기력계수를 측정한 결과, 캣워크에 작용하는 정적 공기력계수는 레이놀즈 수의 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 향후 새로운 형식의 캣워크에 대한 풍동실험을 수행할 경우에 축척에 상관없이 풍동실험 결과를 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 2. 풍동실험 결과, 캣워크에 작용하는 정적 공기력계수 중 항력계수와 피칭모멘트계수는 측면 충실률에 따라 달라지고, 영각에 대한 양력계수의 기울기는 하부 충실률의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 주케이블이 캣워크 내부에 위치하고 있어도 캣워크의 정적 공기력계수에는 큰 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 측정되었다. 이를 정리하여 캣워크 충실률에 따른 정적 공기력계수의 추정식을 제안하였다.

The Existence of Implicit Frames in VR Movies (VR 영화에서 암묵적 프레임의 존재)

  • VR movies form a relationship with the audience in completely different ways from general movies with their screen. In VR movies, the audience becomes the camera and also the subject of the camera viewpoint, which raises a need for a frame theory unique to VR movies to examine the first person viewpoint and replace the edition of frames to deliver a narrative. In VR movies, the frames delivering a narrative are not revealed and perform the symbolic narrative function, thus being called "implicit frames." The study discussed their related theoretical backgrounds including Russian Ark made in the one shot, one cut method by Alexander Sokurov, off-screen elements, and the Fourth Wall. In VR movies, the audience gets immersed in the narrative based on their paradoxical dilemma, which means that they exist in reality but are absent on screen at the same time, and experiences hyper-reality. In VR movies, space has a couple of attributes including the blocking of eyeline to move it and telepresence to tie up presence between reality and virtuality.
