Line Drawings from 2D Images (이차원 영상의 라인 드로잉)

  • Line drawing is a widely used style in non-photorealistic rendering because it generates expressive descriptions of object shapes with a set of strokes. Although various techniques for line drawing of 3D objects have been developed, line drawing of 2D images has attracted little attention despite interesting applications, such as image stylization. This paper presents a robust and effective technique for generating line drawings from 2D images. The algorithm consists of three parts; filtering, linking, and stylization. In the filtering process, it constructs a likelihood function that estimates possible positions of lines in an image. In the linking process, line strokes are extracted from the likelihood function using clustering and graph search algorithms. In the stylization process, it generates various kinds of line drawings by applying curve fitting and texture mapping to the extracted line strokes. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed technique can be applied to the various kinds of line drawings from 2D images with detail control.

  • 본 논문은 역설계 기법을 이용하여 비접촉 방법으로 인체의 발을 3차원으로 복원하고, 발에 관련된 분야에서 필요한 데이터를 추출하는 시스템에서 신발 제작에 필요한 데이터를 지능 기법을 이용하여 분류하는 모듈을 제안한다. 신발의 경우 개개인의 신체조건이 다르고 유행과 개성을 추구하고자 하기 때문에 기존의 생산체계로는 한계가 있다. 측정데이터를 기반으로 하는 맞춤 신발은 기존의 전통적인 수제화 방식과 대량생산 방식의 장점만을 취하여 저렴하고 편리하게 제작된다. 또한 3차원 측정기를 이용하여 측정한 화형 데이터를 적당하게 분류한다면 기성화와 수제화 제작에 필요한 라스트 생성과 개인의 발의 구조 분석에 활용 가능 할 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 획득된 발 데이터를 미리 정해 놓은 그룹으로 결정하기위해 신경망을 사용하여 신발 제작에 필요한 최적의 라스트 데이터를 선택하게 한다.

  • Last Planner System (LPS) developed by Lean Construction Institute consists of four steps: Master Schedule, Phase Schedule, Lookahead Planning and Weekly Work Plan. This paper focuses on the process of measuring Percent of Plan Completed (PPC) at the Weekly Work Plan stage. PPC means the percentage of weekly assignments completed. According to the results of the researches that deal with PPC from many other countries, we can assure the benefits of using PPC. However, the concept of PPC is unfamiliar in Korea construction industry. This paper analyzes the cases in which PPC is applied in other countries and compares them with the production control system in Korean construction industry. The results of this research will provide the time management system for using PPC in Korea.

  • The purpose of construction project management is to achieve planned quality by adequate cost and schedule of the project, thus the effective time management is a critical factor to actualize the object. But the traditional time management by using milestone has several limitations which are not sufficiently considered mutual relation and variated from the task. On this wise, applying the concept and principles of lean construction to the project will be the best way not only reduce waste and variation, but also improve the productivity and ability to overcome limitation as mentioned above. Thus the study, Last Planner System, specially focuses on constraint analysis which is used in lookahead planning system. The results of this research will provide the constraints classification that is able to improve work reliable and percent plan complete when time planning by controlling constraints of project.

  • Services system which has been emerging as a new way of application development utilizes services as fundamental units for developing a system. Services system can offer services within web environment as well as the ubiquitous environment where mobile devices are connected to wired or wireless network. In order to provide the functionality that meets users' requirements, the most appropriate service should be selected among candidate services by taking requests and context information into account. Therefore, it is important that the service system should provide services to users by dynamically adapting to users' requirements and context information. Since different users request same functionality with different context information, one service can be differently offered to users so that variability can happen to the service systems. Most researches on context-aware systems have a tendency to solve dynamic adaptation by using more or less ad hoc manner In this paper, we consider various types of services which are performed according to context information as variability and propose adaptable architecture by applying concepts of product line architecture in order to deal with variabilities systematically.

  • 현대 사회는 '스트레스의 사회'라 해도 과언이 아니다. 직장인들은 직장에서, 학생들은 학교에서, 심지어 어린 아이들에서도 스트레스로 인한 각종 질병이 발생하고 있다. 육체적 스트레스에서 심리적, 정신적 스트레스까지 각종 스트레스의 원인들로부터 둘러싸여 살아가고 있는 것이 지금 현대인의 일상이다. 스트레스로 인한 각종 질병들 중에서도 직장인들은 물론, 여성을 비롯해 학생들에게서 많이 발생하고 있는 것 중의 하나가 원형탈모증이다. 최근에는 각종 공해와 유해물질이 많아지면서 남녀 모두에게서 탈모 인구가 증가되었다. 사회는 점점더 복잡해지고 인스턴트식품의 섭취와 환경호르몬이 증가되면서 머리카락도 견디기 힘든 시대가 된 것이다. 일반적인 탈모와는 달리 원형탈모는 일시적인 탈모현상으로 비교적 쉽게 치료가 가능한 탈모증상이라고 알려져 있다. 그러나 대수롭게 넘겼다가는 탈모로 인한 스트레스까지 겪어야 할지도 모를 일이니 이번 기회를 통해 원형탈모에 대해 좀 더 구체적으로 알아보도록 하자.

  • Lasting machines for shoe manufacturing are continuously developed with the aid of automation and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM). Although automation and CAM techniques have tremendously reduced the labor in shoe manufacturing field, there still remain some parts manufactured by experts. In order to enhance the capability and efficiency of machines for labor-free shoe manufacturing, CAD data of a shoe last is indispensable. While CAD datarization takes the fundamental role in the shoe design as well as the shoe manufacturing, there has been little research for the CAD datarization of a shoe last. In this paper, a new procedure for CAD datarization of a shoe last using finite element patches is proposed and some data for the control part of the shoe lasting machine are extracted and interpolated from the CAD data. The outer line of a shoe-last sole is interpolated by a tension spline method and bonding lines are extracted from the shoe CAD data. Finally, initial setting data for the lasting machine are extracted from the last CAD data and initial setup parts of the lasting machine.
