Reconstitution of Digital Multiplanar Images based on Cinerama System (시네라마 시스템 기반의 디지털 다면영상의 재구성)

  • The development of digital image technology has realized high definition throughout the image industry including film and broadcasting. Such high definition images are used in various media and forms through convergence with innovative displays. The analog image production mode is combined with image content production using digital technology. The purpose of this research is to present a method to reconstitute high definition multiplanar images on the wider and bigger screen by applying the Cinerama system, one of the analog image systems in the past, to digital technology.

  • While the way broadcasting contents are made has changed drastically, some conflicts appear to remain unchanged. And they are about allegedly unfair practices. The whole arguments may even be deemed natural to a certain degree, considering the characteristics of the overall creative industry. But it needs to be highlighted the conflicts are being aggravated both in drama and non-drama production industries for different reasons. The drama side of the issue comes from how the project-based organizations are organized, and will be resolved if broadcasting companies do not send over their directors. On the other hand, the non-drama side's issues are about the complaints that outsourcing production companies have about the production cost. In general, due largely to the genre's relatively weak power to generate revenue, the producers do not get the upper hand when it comes to the negotiations over financial matters.

  • 3월 5일 오전 4시 23분경 유럽 중동부에 최악의 강진이 밀어 닥쳤다. 유럽사상 가장 강력한 지진의 하나인 이번 지진은 강도 7.5리히터였다. 루마니아를 비롯해 구주중동일대에서 기천명의 사망자와 많은 부상자 그리고 막대한 시설 건물, 도시의 황폐를 갖어온 무서운 지진이였다. 특히 부크레시티와 그 북쪽 60km의 루마니아 유전중심도시인 폴로에마스티는 거의 폐허화되었다. 라마에서 빈 베오그라드 부크레시티를 거쳐 모스크바에 이르는 광역의 지진은 처처에 혼잡을 이루었고 비상사태를 빚었다. 이같은 지진을 막을길은 없으나 인명의 피해는 줄일수 있지 않을까

Exposure dose of Dental Panoramagraphy using a Radiophotoluminescent Glass Rod Detector (유리선량계를 이용한 파노라마 검사의 피폭선량 측정)

  • 치과 진료시 파로라마 장치를 이용한 검사에서 유리선량계를 사용하여 피검자의 피폭선량을 측정하였다. 수정체의 피폭선량 영향을 평가하기 위하여 안경의 재질에 따라 수정체의 피폭선량을 측정하였다. 치아위치별 피폭선량 측정결과 82.4-2,340${\mu}Sv$ 선량분포로 나타나 최대 300% 이상의 피폭선량 차이를 보였다. 따라서 효과적이고 정확한 진단과 피폭선량 관리를 위해서는 장치제조시 예열시간 단축 과차폐등의 조치가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. 안경을 착용하였을 때 착용하지 않았을 때 비하여 수정체의 피폭선량이 안경의 재질에 따라서 1회 검사 시 20-75${\mu}Sv$ 증가되는 것으로 측정되었다. 그러므로 피폭 선량을 최소화하고 효율적인 검사를 위해 치과 파노라마 검사시 안경을 벗고 검사할 것을 권고 한다.

  • 수완나부미(Suvannabhumi, 황금의 땅)는 인도상인, 황금탐험가, 모험가, 선교사, 그리고 여러 나라에서 온 사람들이 자주 드나들었던 매우 오래된 지역이었다. 그러나 현재의 수완나부미는 잊혀진 존재이다. 그로 인해, 이 지역이 어디서 번성했는지, 언제 생겨났는지, 역사적으로 얼마나 오래 존재했는지에 대해서 정확하게 아는 사람은 없다. 따라서 현대인에게 이 지역은 여전히 알 수 없는 수수께끼 같은 곳이다. 이 논문은 다양한 문학적 문헌(빨리문헌과 해제, 옛 인도의 논문, 근대 인도학자들의 글, Dvipavansa와 Mahavansa라 불리는 두 가지의 유명한 신할라족 연대기, 일부 중국측 기록과 번역본, 일부 아랍상인과 작가들의 기록, 미얀마의 전통적 연대기와 근대 미얀마 학자들의 주장)에서 발췌한 수완나부미에 대한 여러 내용들을 소개하기 위한 하나의 노력이다. 이러한 자료의 검토와 더불어 필자의 소견을 결론부분에 덧붙였다.

A Study on the Acceptance of Hindu Culture in Modern Southeast Asian Buddhism - The Structural Analysis of Hindu Myth and Buddhist Modification on Ramakien (근대 동남아불교의 힌두문화 수용 - 태국 라마끼엔의 힌두신화와 불교적 변용)

  • The article focuses on the impact and Acceptance of Hindu culture in Modern Southeast Asian Buddhism. The purpose of this study is to examine critically the influential epic Ramayana on Siam culture, Thai Ramayana version 'Ramakien', reveal instances of Buddhist Modification. The Ramayana by the great sage Valmiki is considered by Indians to be the first great literary work to be produced in India. The influence of this work is to be seen not only through centuries but even in other countries, such as Thailand where there are modified modern versions. In this paper, I have three objectives : (1) I may discuss the epic Ramayana of India gave birth to the Ramakien of Thailand. In modern times Valmiki's epic was made to fit the spiritual trends current in the new Chakri dynasty, which were themselves based on Brahmanic tradition and Theravada buddhism. With regarding to the structure of the Traibhumi cosmography, and the relationship between merit and power implied by this cosmography ranks all beings from demons to deities in a hierarchy of merit which accrues according to karma the actions of past lives. (2) I analyze how to have attempted to dissect the Hindi and Thai version of the Ramayana. The Hindu concept of kingship is also depicted in the life of Rama. The Hindus see in Rama the norm of a true Hindu life characterized by the Caste and Dharma. In Thai transformed version, it does not preach Hindu values of personal or social life. The Ramakien emphasized that the Buddhism were higher than all other laws, and that the King is regarded as the incarnation of Phra Ram, and thus is also the narration of the righteous buddhist ruler. (3) I discuss how cultural or social contexts can influence the structure of the royal Wat. The whole epic was painted by the order of Rama I in the galleries of the Wat Phra Keo. In other words, it is the very centre of the dynastic cult enshrining the Emerald Buddha, the most iconic expression of the Ramakien tradition were officially amalgamated. Rama I was continued the process of elaborating and stabilizing the complex religious pattern, with Buddhism at the pinnacle. My finding will support the idea that the Ramakien is particularly appealing to the Thai people because it presents the image of an ideal king, Rama, who symbolizes the force of virtue or dharma while Thotsakan represents the force of evil. Eventually the force of good prevails. Being Buddhists, the Thai poets bring into the story the Buddhist philosophy(especially, the law of cause and effect, karma). This paper examines the role of the Hindu epic Ramayana in the historical and cultural contact between Hindu India and Buddhist Southeast Asia. It should now be possible to evaluate what elements of Hindu culture were transmitted into Thai through the Rama story.

Comparative Performance Evaluation of 10kV IGCTs in 3L ANPC and TNPC Converters in PMSG MV Wind Turbines (PMSG 풍력발전기용 3L ANPC와 TNPC 컨버터에서의 10kV IGCT 성능 비교 평가)

  • Several multilevel converter topologies have been proposed and compared. The three-level (3L) neutral-point-clamped (NPC) topology is promising and widely accepted. However, this topology suffers from uneven loss distribution among switches due to its fixed switching strategy. The 3L active NPC (ANPC) topology, which exhibits improved loss distribution profile, was proposed to address this disadvantage. The 3L T-NPC topology, a hybrid configuration of 2L and 3L NPC topologies, was introduced to address not only the loss distribution problem but also the reduction in the number of switches. In the present research, the application of these three topologies in PMSG-based medium-voltage wind turbines was investigated. The power devices considered were 10 kV IGCTs. Performance was evaluated in terms of a power loss of 10 kV IGCT for each NPC topology, which is a crucial indicator of thermal behavior, reliability, cost, and lifetime of any converter. The comparison was performed using ABB make 10 kV IGCT 5SHY17L9000 and the simulation tool PLECS.

NiO 박막의 전기적, 전자적 및 광학적 특성

  • 본 연구에서는 RF스퍼터링법에 의하여 유리기판에 NiO를 40 nm만큼 증착시킨후, 30분 동안 각각 상온, $100^{\circ}C$, $200^{\circ}C$, $300^{\circ}C$, $400^{\circ}C$로 후 열처리 하였다. 박막의 전자적, 광학적 특성은 XPS (X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy), REELS (Reflection Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy)와 UV-Spectrometer를 이용하여 =측정하였고, Hall Effect를 이용하여 전기적 특성을 측정하였다. XPS측정결과, $400^{\circ}C$ 후 열처리 한 NiO박막은 NiO 결합인 Ni2+가 줄어 들면서 금속 결합인 Ni0가 증가하면, 상온에서 띠틈이 4.0eV, 3.4eV로 줄어드는 것을 REELS로 확인 했다. 이 값은 UV-Spectrometer를 이용한 광학적 띠틈과 같음을 보였다. Hall Effect측정 결과 $400^{\circ}C$ 후 열처리한 샘플에서 P-type에서 N-type으로 바뀜을 보였으며, 비저항이 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. UV-Spectrometer를 이용한 광학적 특성을 측정해본 결과, 가시광선영역인 380 nm~780 nm에서의 투과율이 75%이상으로 투명전자소자로의 응용이 가능하다는 것을 보여 주었다.
