Design and Implementation of Content Management System for Improvement of Compatibility and Publication (호환성 및 상호운용성이 개선된 콘텐츠관리시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • Although the amount of UCC(user created content) rapidly grows nowadays, there are various problems in authoring, distribution and management of this abundant content because the platforms for fabrication and replaying content are not compatible and the authoring environments are not sufficiently interoperable with other site or with each other. In this paper, we propose a CMS(content management system) scheme improved in interoperability to solve these problems, and we design a novel system enhancing the efficiency and speed of content distribution and management by minimizing the repetitions in the processes of production, reshaping, and publication. Moreover the proposed system adopts an improved content management technology by changing from simple point-to-point method to the centralized distribution method, and as for the service scheme, we change from the site link method to the database link method, and we also take duplex interlink scheme instead of simplex one. We finally compare the proposed system to the conventional ones as points of view of compatibility and interoperability to prove the improved performance of our system.

  • Developing 3D games of quality is getting easier as commercial game engines have significantly evolved. It is still difficult, however, for entry-level developers to create various avatars which could affect the entire game because it requires expertise in 3D design and programming. We propose a design of an avatar assembly system based on a commercial game engine, Unity. It includes the assembly, customization, and management of avatars. It also provides an avatar update mechanism via the World Wide Web(WWW) provided by Unity's asset system so that various avatars can be supplied after the initial game distribution.

  • Non-scale digital map have important role in the field of GIS and other application area which using geographical data in recently against conventional map restricted by scale and information. The main objective of this study is to develope the automated map production system for small scale map in conjuction with generalization techniques in a digital environment. We will intend to develope algorithms and programs for each generalization operators based on specific terrain feature with vector data. This study will be performed aspects related to an data model development of generalization process, focussing on priority for processing sequency with maintaining vector topology, and error analysis for generalized digital data.

  • In this paper, rile scattered field from a random rough perfectly conducting surface by method of moment(MoM) was computed. A one-dimensional random rough surface predetermined statistical properties was generated by a digital computer. The number of surface realization for the computed field and the width of surface realization are set to be 100, 80 λ, respectively. To eliminate the scattering from the ends of the surface, the Gaussian taper function is used. Using Monte Carlo technique, we calculated hi-static scattering and back scattering coefficient. In order to verify the result by MoM we compare the MoM results with those of Kirchhoff approximations, which show good agreement between them.

  • A digital video is a very long data that requires large-capacity storage space. As such, prior to watching a long original video, video watchers want to watch a summarized version of the video. In the field of sports, in particular, highlights videos are frequently watched. In short, a highlights video allows a video watcher to determine whether the highlights video is well worth watching. This paper proposes a scheme for creating soccer video highlights using the structural features of captions in terms of time and space. Such structural features are used to extract caption frame intervals and caption keyframes. A highlights video is created through resetting shots for caption keyframes, by means of logical indexing, and through the use of the rule for creating highlights. Finally, highlights videos and video segments can be searched and browsed in a way that allows the video watcher to select his/her desired items from the browser.

  • In this paper, we propose a new system which can generate digital holograms for natural color scene. The system consists of both a camera system for capturing images and softwares(SWs) for various image processings. The camera system uses a vertical rig with a depth and a RGB camera and a cold mirror which has the different transmittance according to wavelength for obtaining images with the same view point. The S/W is composed by the engines for processing and servicing the captured images and computer-generated hologram (CGH) for generating digital holograms using general-purpose computing on graphics processing unit (GPGPU). Each algorithm was implemented using C/C++ and CUDA languages, and all engines were integrated in LabView environment. The proposed system can generate 10 digital holographic frames per second using about 6K light sources.

  • In this paper, a CMOS baseband analog receiver for wireless home network is discussed. It is composed of a Gilbert type mixer, an Elliptic 6th order 1ow pass filter, and a 6-bit A/D converter. The main role of the mixer is generating a mixed analog signal between the 200MHz output signal of CMOS RF stage and the 199MHz local oscillator. After the undesired high frequency component of the mixed signal comes out. Finally, the analog signal is converted into digital code at the 6-bit A/D converter, The proposed receiver is fabricated with 0.25${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ 1-poly 5-metal CMOS technology, and the chip area is 200${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ X1400${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. the receiver consumes 130㎽ at 2.5V power supply.

  • A computer-generated hologram (CGH) is a digitally calculated and recorded hologram in which the amplitude and phase information of an image is transmitted in free space. The CGH is in the form of a complex hologram, but it is converted into a phase-only hologram to display through a phase-only spatial light modulator (SLM). In this paper, in the process of including the amplitude information of an object in the phase information, when a technique that includes subsampling such as DPAC is used, we showed experimentally that the bandwidth of the phase-only hologram increases, and as a result, aliasing that was not present in the complex hologram can occur. In addition, it was experimentally shown that it is possible to generate a high-quality phase-only hologram by restricting the spatial frequency range even at a distance where the numerical reconstruction performance is degraded by aliasing.

  • 최근 논의되고 있는 디지털 홈 네트워크는 유무선 통신 프레임워크를 기반으로 사용자 디바이스간 다양한 정보 공유 및 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 교환의 활성화가 예상되며, 대부분의 사용자는 자신이 구입한 권한 정보를 가족 또는 친구 등과 공유 가능하게 할 수 있는 형태의 유연한 서비스를 요구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 홈 네트워크 환경에 대해 사용자 소유의 디바이스로 구성된 도메인에서의 권한 정보 관리 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법은 정당한 사용자 도메인의 디바이스에 대해 보유하고 있는 권한 정보 한도 내에서 DRM 포맷에 독립적으로 해당 디바이스를 위한 권한 정보를 생성 및 기존 권한 정보의 상태 정보에 대한 업데이트를 수행하며, 이때, 사용자 디바이스의 성능을 고려하도록 하였다.

  • 국토해양부는 지방국토관리청의 도로공사와 관련하여 발생하는 공사비 정보의 교환 및 공유를 목적으로 작업분류체계 기반의 공사비 관리 항목을 추가하여 전자설계도서 작성 납품 지침을 개정하였다. 이를 반영하고 문제점 개선 및 활성화를 위하여 5개 지방국토관리청에서 관리중인 10개 도로건설공사를 시범적용 사업으로 지정하여 발생하는 공사비 정보를 디지털 수량산출정보로 관리하고 있다. 시범사업을 진행하면서 건설공사에 발생하는 설계변경 업무를 전자화하여 관리하는 기능을 개발하고 추가 적용하였다. 이를 통해 건설사에서 생성한 설계변경 정보를 건설사와 발주처가 동일한 형태로 공사비 정보를 공유 및 관리 가능하도록 하였다.
