디지털 콘텐츠가 넘쳐나는 가운데, 최근 이미지 저작권에 대한 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 블로그 및 SNS에 쉽게 게시물을 업로드가 가능한 점으로 인해, 이미지 저작권의 침해가 광범위하게 이루어지나, 저작권의 소유자는 침해된 자료를 찾기 위해 일일이 검색하고 적발하는 방식을 사용하고 있어 비용이 많이 들며 저작권 침해 속도에 크게 못 미친다. 이러한 문제를 해결하고 궁극적으로 저작권의 권리 보장과 저작권 침해 예방을 위해 본 연구에서는 키워드 검색으로 얻은 게시물에 게재된 이미지를 저작권 침해 적발 방법을 자동화하는 시스템을 제안하고 실험결과를 제시하였다.

Electronic Copyright Management System is the technical solution to protect copyright and to manage the distribution of digital contents in network environment. This paper examined the theoretical plane of Electronic Copyright Management System and analyzed the characteristics and the protection technologies of some of the commercial systems. And this paper investigated the essential protection technologies and payment systems that is needed to develop and manage the successful system in the future. Finally this study suggested the fundamental function model of Electronic Copyright Management System.

DRM 환경 하에서 저작권자, 유통업자 사이에 존재하는 다양한 계약에 따른 권리관리정보가 콘텐트에 부착되어 유통된다. 콘텐트 유통업체는 해당 콘텐트를 다른 유통업체에게 재계약을 통하여 공급할 수 있으며, 이때 재계약되는 권리관리정보가 기존에 부착된 권리관리정보와 충돌이 발생할 수 있는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 콘텐트에 부착되는 권리관리정보 집합을 도출하고, 권리관리정보 사이에 발생하는 충돌 사항을 자동으로 체크할 수 있는 시스템에 대한 모델을 제시하였다.

The online distribution systems under the wireless environment include many different factors from the conventional offline and wired networks. Furthermore, the multimedia content may be propagated more easily and illegally. The scheme to protect the rights and profits of people related to the copyrights of digital content Is needed. In this paper a framework for content distribution under the wireless environment based on MPEG-21 and UCI application process are proposed. This model can be applied to the digital rights management system and utilized to protect the rights of trading entities in online distribution of electronic commerce.

The purpose of this study is to provide possible suggestions in order to promote online transmission service of digital works and the construction of digital libraries. To achieve this purpose, the definition, and characteristics of digital library were reviewed. And the current status of information service of digital libraries in Korea. Japan, and U. S. was examined. The regulations relating to online transmission in digital libraries on the copyright law revised in December 1999 were understood. As a result, this study suggested the establishment of center to manage the reproduction and online transmission of digital works collectively. And it also suggested the introduction of technical measures to protect copyright.

In order to evaluate Portability of Digital Right Management S/W from the research which sees proposed the tentative metric. Also, measured a quality and the result according to the standard which is appropriate accomplished presented clearly presented a research about the method which decides and an evaluation instance and a evaluation method.

만화가 각종 문화콘텐츠의 중요한 미디어믹스 원천 소스로 떠오르면서 이에 따른 2차적 저작권분쟁 또한 증가하고 있다. 이에 따르는 사회적 기회비용이 크고 향후 문화콘텐츠 산업에 악영향을 줄 수 있다. 따라서 기존의 공정이용 대책과 함께 만화 원작자와 관련단체, 그리고 정부기관의 콘텐츠 이용 형태와 권리 관계에 따른 구체적이고 세분화된 풀랫폼이 개발되어야 하고 더불어 기술적 보호 장치와 보상체제를 갖추는 노력이 선행되어야 한다.

본 연구는 디지털 멀티미디어 컨텐츠에 대한 불법 사용 차단 및 저작권 보호 기술에 대한 연구이다. 본 연구 주제와 관련해서 스테가노그라피 기술 자체에 대한 연구와 저작권을 위한 워터마킹 기술, 정당한 수신자의 권리를 위한 스크램블링 연구로 나뉜다. 본 논문은 저작권 증명, 원본 증명, 정보 추출, 정보 은닉을 위해 활용되어질 수 있는 스테가노그라피 기술을 다룬다.

There have been concerned about the copyright as numerous data are digitalized because of the growth of performance of the computer and Internet. Digital watermarking is one of strong methods to protect copyright. We proposed a novel digital watermarking for vector map data. Although vector map data are used widely in GIS, there is little interest in copyright. The proposed method is to embed and extract watermarks using CRC principle. The experimental results show that this method can protect the copyright of the vector map by extracting embedded watermarks. Therefore, the proposed method can be utilized as the technique to protect vector map data.

This study is to in-depth analysis of the copyright issues related to the library's e-book service, which is the cause of the recent conflict between the publishing industry and the library industry. To this end, the purpose and outline of the copyright system were briefly summarized. Then, the jurisprudence of the Copyright Act applied to the borrowing of paper books and e-books was analyzed, and the position of the publisher's association and the library industry were reviewed together. In addition, problems of the current copyright act related to e-book services were diagnosed and directions for improvement were sought. Unlike in the case of paper books, first sale doctrine does not apply to e-book borrowing, so the library cannot acquire the right to service just by purchasing e-books. Based on the contract signed with the distributor in the process of purchasing the e-book, the library acquires the right to service the e-book. However, if the validity period of the exclusive publication right expires, the contract itself becomes invalid, which can cause serious problems in the stability of library services and preservation of resources. In order to solve this problem, it is suggested that the first sale doctrine needs to be extended to digital works.
