Design and Implementation of an Adaptive User Interface for Home Network Environments (홈 네트워크 환경을 위한 적응형 사용자 인터페이스 설계 및 구현)

  • With the growing proliferation of mobile computing devices, several industrial and academic research groups have a vigorous studying to remote control for various appliances with mobile devices such as Notebooks, PDAs, and Smartphones in home network environments. We can utilize the good points of mobile devices such as portability and usability so that we can remote control and manage the mobile devices connected on home networks anytime, anywhere. However, mobile devices use different languages. Therefore, they cause some problems because their interfaces and the methods of operation are different each other. To solve these problems, there are two consideration. First, we may be solved development of the user interface and difficulty of maintenance in order to control various heterogeneous devices. Second, we may provide the user interface which is dynamically adapting user's preferences and device characteristics. To satisfy these considerations, we describe the design of an adaptive user interface for home network environments using the UIML (User Interface Markup Language) based on XML (eXtensible Markup Language) and the profile information of the user and device. Therefore, we present several implementation examples that show how the framework can form the basis of prototypical applications.

A Study on the way to use push notification through analysis of push notification system in mobile social network games : focus on Puzzle games (소셜 네트워크 게임 내 푸시알림 시스템 분석을 통한 푸시알림 활용 방안 : 퍼즐게임을 중심으로)

  • Recently, Mobile Social Network Game market has grown rapidly because Smart devices has been spreading to many people and improving performance. Push notification, which is a success factor of the mobile social network game brought about stress to the user. However, there is no study on push notifications in the mobile social network game; it was difficult to understand for the use of push notifications. The Games of Kakao talk platform has various push notification system and provides detailed descriptions. On the other hand, the game linked to Facebook has minimal push notification system. In the future, if game companies develop push notification system by the characteristics of user, mobile social network games be able to derive the user's use continuously.

Framework for Measuring Dynamic Influence Index & Influence Factors using Social Data on Facebook (페이스북 소셜 데이터를 이용한 동적 영향 요인 및 영향력 측정 방법에 관한 프레임워크)

  • The explosive growth of social networking services based on smart devices popularize these relationships and activities online in accordance with the far larger impact of this on the real life offline, the interest and importance for the online activity is increasing. In this study, factors affecting the SNS activity are defined by object, user, influence direction, influence distance and proposed a method to measure organic terms in effect between the SNS users. Influence Direction and Influence Strength (or Distance) are elaborated by using the existing influence measurement element such as structured data - the number of friends, the difference between the number of contacts - and the new influence measurement element such as unstructured data - gap between the former time and the latter time, preference and type of response behavior - that occur in social network service. In addition, the system for collecting and analysing data for measuring influence from social network service and the process model on the method for measuring influence is tested by using sample data on Facebook and explained the implementation probability.

  • 앞으로 10년간 세계의 생물다양성 보전을 위한 유엔 생물다양성협약 당사국 총회가 2022년 12월 캐나다 몬트리올에서 열린다. 전 세계 전문가와 정책입안자들이 여러 내용을 다루지만 그중에서도 염기서열 정보에 관한 내용을 집중적으로 소개한다. 우선 생물다양성협약에서의 이익공유에 관한 내용은 북아시아 원산인 콩을 현재 대량으로 재배하고 수확하고 있는 미국, 브라질 등의 사례를 선별하여 소개한다. 이어서 생물다양성협약 체결 전후의 생물자원에 대한 인식 변화로 인해 국제적으로 합의한 나고야 의정서의 주요 핵심 내용을 발표한다. 그러나, 최근의 합성생물학은 유전정보만을 가지고 설계자의 의도대로 실물 생물자원 없이 새로운 생물과 원하는 물질을 합성할 수 있기에 국제적으로 마찰이 발생하고 있다. 유전공학과 합성생물학에서 가장 기본적으로 이용하고 있는 유전정보를 생물다양성협약에서는 어떻게 정의하고 있는지, 그리고 이익을 어떻게 공유하는지 알아본다. 생물자원 이용 국가들은 유전정보는 물리적인 실체가 없기에 이익공유대상이 아님을 주장하면서 유전정보는 원하는 누구에게나 이용되어야 한다고 보고 있다. 반면 생물자원 풍부국 입장은 생명과학기술 발전으로 인해 원산지 국가의 허가 없이 생물 유전정보를 활용하는 것은 생물 주권의 침해로 보고 있으며, 유전정보를 실물 생물자원과 동일하게 취급하여 나고야 의정서상의 이익공유를 요구하고 있다. 유전정보에 대한 대한민국의 공식적인 입장과 제 14차 협약 총회에서 합의한 결정문을 소개한다. 또한, 2019년 생물다양성과학기구(IPBES)에서 지구의 생물다양성과 생태계를 평가한 보고서에서 생물 멸종의 위협요인으로 제시된 토지이용 변화, 남획, 기후변화, 오염, 외래종에 대한 문제점을 기반으로 작성된 post-2020 생물다양성협약 10개년 실행 목표를 알아보고 2022년 12월 개최하는 제15차 당사국총회의 주요 의제에 대한 전망과 최근 문제가 되고 있는 '공동의 그러나 차별적인 책임(CBDR, Common But Differentiated Responsibility)'의 개념을 소개한다.

A Study on the Factor and Influences of Decision Making for the Inland Trnsportation of Shippers (화주의 내륙운송 의사결정요인과 영향에 대한 연구)

  • In order to identify the factor and effect of shippers' inland transportation decision in North China and the Republic of Korea, the determinants of shipping liners, shippers and forwarders when selecting ports were extracted through previous studies and then analyzed using factor analysis and Fuzzy-AHP. As a result of analyzing the importance between groups, it can be found that while logistics costs at port and accessibility to hinterland are the most important factors for shipping liners, shippers and forwarders. Transportation cost by feeder is the most important sub factors for shipping liners. Inland transportation cost is the most important sub factors for shippers and forwarders. Through this study, it was recognized that one of the biggest concerns of shippers was reduction of inland transportation cost In addition, it was confirmed that the main factor of shifting the decision of the port selection from the shipping liners to the shipper is the reduction of inland transportation cost.
