This paper proposes a new steganography scheme based on frequency domain using various image frames and collages that can protect the copyright of digital contents for users and securely perform to exchange the security information in the digital communication environments. The main idea of our proposed scheme is that the security informations related its copyright embed into the frequency domain of the image frame and collages when a user decorates the original image by using various image frames and collages. The strengths of our proposed scheme are as follows: (1) It allows to freely control the quantity of embedded information by changing the number of image frames and collages. (2) It is secure to variety image distortion attacks. (3) It maintains high PSNR(Peak Signal to Noise Ratio). As a result, the proposed steganography scheme can be used practically diverse multimedia security fields such as digital copyright protect, secure message communication and digital watermarking.

In this paper, we describe the implementation of the digital photo frame system that displays the images coming through the memory card of a digital camera. Each image can be recorded with voice in this system, and a function of the mp3 player is implemented as well. We use Intel PXA255 to control the system and modify the bootloader and linux kernel. Also we adapt device driver for this system. For the realization of image display, voice recording and mp3 playing in the basis of the linux system, we program some of the Microwindows system configuration files and program applications here. This study will be a good example to access the development of the digital photo frame based on the linux system using less-power and high performed embedded processor.

As the performance of digital camera keeps going on, the digital camera becomes into wide use recently so that the number of digital images taken by digital camera is increased rapidly. Given the augmentation of digital images, the digital photo frame has appeared for storing and enjoying the digital image and receives attention as the price of digital frame becomes down. However, users with the existing digital frame only could display the digital images and stream media stored in local disk. In the paper, we design and implement a new digital photo frame baled on ubiquitous which could provide a more variety of service to the user. With the proposed digital photo frame, the user could obtain the environment information and the digital image from multimedia sensor network. The users also could enjoy the various stream media stored in the remote streaming server seamlessly. In addition, the user could update the digital image through the web site at anywhere.

본 논문에서는 ALtera Cyclone II FPGA와 VGA Controller, ISP1362 Host Controller, DM9000A Ethernet Controller를 사용하여 FPGA를 구성하고, ${\mu}Clinux$를 포팅하여 Nano-X 기반에서 JPEG 파일을 디스플레이 시키는 임베디드 디지털 액자를 구현한다. 구현한 시스템은 일반적인 마이크로프로세서를 사용하지 않고 Altera 사의 Cyclone II FPGA를 이용해 직접 프로세서를 설계하고, ISP1362 Host Controller를 이용하여 USB 드라이브를 인식하며, DM9000A를 통해 웹과 연결하여 웹서버로부터 전송되어진 JPEG 이미지를 Display 할 수 있도록 설계하였다.

89년 첫 전시회 이후 해를 거듭할수록 사진인들의 물적, 인적교류의 장으로 거듭나고 있는‘2005 서울국제사진영상기자재전/ 디지털영상전’이 지난 5월 26일부터 29일까지 코엑스 태평양홀에서 성공적으로 휘날레를 장식했다. 미국‘PMA 2005’와 일본 동경에서 열린‘Photo Imageing Expo 2005’에서 선보인 최첨단사진영상기기들의 여세를 몰아 이번‘2005 서울국제사진영상기자재전/디지털영상전’에서는 18개국 200여 업체가 참가했으며 지난 전시회보다 한 층 더 보강된 신제품과 신기술로 5만명이 넘는 관람객의 발길을 사로잡았다. 이번 전시회에서 주목할 점은 디지털카메라의 보급으로 디지털사진 및 관련 업계에 대한 일반인의 관심이 집중되면서 일반 참관객들의 적극적인 전시회 참여가 돋보였다는 점이다. 또한 디지털포토 및 배경, 의상, 앨범, 액자, 스튜디오기자재, 조명기기, 기타 액세서리 등에서도 소비자들의 변화된 구매 욕구를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 각 종 아이템들이 선보여 국내외 바이어들과 전문가, 일반인들에게 사진시장의 확대와 가능성을 엿볼 수 있었던 전시회로 평가된다.

현재 홈 게이트웨이의 환경에서 이 기종간의 연결 및 제어를 하기 위해서는 기존의 분산서비스 환경과는 다른 몇 가지 특성들이 고려되어야 한다. 이들 특성들은 (1)기기간의 서로 다른 통신 프로토콜로의 연결, (2)서비스가 동적으로 설치되는 컴포넌트 환경. (3)인증을 통한 웹 접근 및 효과적인 서비스 인터페이스 구성이다. 여기에서 개별적으로 존재했던 가진기기들을 디지털화하고 서로 간에 쉽게 연결할 수 있는 미들웨어인 UPnP와 Jini등 다양한 기술들이 생겨났다. 이를 통해 분산시스템을 하나로 연결 지원하는 홈 네트워크의 기술을 바탕으로 사이비 홈이라는 개념이 생겼다. 본 논문은 현재 표준화 가능성이 가장 높은 OSGi 기반하의 UPnP 서비스를 이용한 전자액자 서비스를 설계 및 구현하여 홈 네트워크 표준화의 효용성을 보이고자 한다.

인터넷 보급화와 기술의 발달로 가정 내 가전기기들을 네트워크로 연결하여 서로의 정보를 공유한다. 분산 환경인 연결 동작을 지원하는 시스템을 홈 네트워크의 기술을 바탕으로 사이버 홈이라는 개념이 생겨나게 되었다. 그리고 가전기기들의 인터넷을 통하여 제어할 수 있는 기술들이 생겨났다. 로컬화 되던 가전기기들이 디지털화되고 이기종간 연결을 위해서 미들웨어를 필요하다. 미들웨어를 사용하지 않을 때에는 서로 다른 가전기기들을 연결하여 사용하려면 중간에 Converter를 설치해야만 하는 불편한 점을 미들웨어가 해소해주게 되었다. 미들웨어로 UPnP와 Jini등 다양한 기술들이 생겨났다. 본 논문은 아직 미들웨어의 표준화가 되지 확정 않은 시점에서 미들웨어 하나인 UPnP을 택하여 가정내에서 전자 액자 서비스를 구현하고 그것에 대한 효용성을 보이고자 한다.

2007년 구글에서 공개된 안드로이드는 개방형 모바일 플랫폼으로 모바일 장치를 목표로 한다. 안드로이드 플랫폼은 다양한 모바일 제품에 적용 할 수 있는 구조로 되어 있어 확장이 용이하며 향후 다양한 모바일 장치에 사용될 것으로 생각된다. 이러한 발전성을 고려하여 선행연구 차원에서 연구 될 가치가 충분하다고 판단이 된다. 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 플랫폼에 대표적 홈네트워크 미들웨어인 UPnP와 DLNA에서 명시하는 UPnP for A/V에 준하는 스택을 구현하여 UPnP를 통한 장치들을 검색 및 제어를 하고 DLNA에 준하여 디지털 콘텐츠를 공유, 전송 한다. 또한 안드로이드 플랫폼과 디지털 액자간의 네트워킹을 통해 홈네트워크 플랫폼으로서의 안드로이드 가능성을 확인한다.

본 논문에서는 RAW 이미지 포맷 중 PEF, MRW에 대한 분석 결과와 RAWImage Viewer에 대해 소개한다. DSLR 디지털 카메라로 촬영되는 이미지 파일은 범용의 JPEG 포맷이나 제조사별 독자적인 RAW 이미지 포맷으로 저장된다. 이러한 RAW 이미지 파일을 PMP 등의 휴대용 멀티미디어 기기나 디지털액자에서 재생 및 확인하기 위한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 하지만, RAW 이미지 포맷이 디지털 카메라 제조사별로 다르고, 해당 포맷에 대한 구체적인 정보가 공개되지 않아 대부분의 휴대용 멀티미디어 기기에서 RAW 이미지 파일 재생 기능을 완벽하게 지원하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RAW 이미지 파일 포맷을 분석하여 다양한 임베디드 멀티미디어 기기에서 모든 RAW 이미지 파일을 지원할 수 있는 라이브러리 구축을 위한 연구 결과 중 일부를 소개한다. Cannon의 CRW, CR2 포맷과 Nikon의 NEF 분석 결과에 이어 PEF, MRW에 대한 분석 결과와 RAW 이미지 출력 및 분석 기능이 포함된 RAWImage Viewer에 대해 설명한다. 연구 결과는 RAW 파일을 재생할 수 있는 임베디드 장비 및 PC용 RAW 이미지 파일 재생 라이브러리를 구축 및 응용 프로그램 개발시 활용될 것이다.
