The Design Trend of Women's Tailored Jacket According to SCAMPER Method (스캠퍼 기법에 따른 여성 테일러드 재킷의 디자인 경향)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data to assist students and designers in the fashion industry by examining the trend of designing women's wear using the SCAMPER method. In the research, five SCAMPER methods for fashion design were classified based on the previous studies. From 2018 S/S to 2022 F/W, data from 3,512 photographs were collected and checked for overlapping and were then classified by SCAMPER method. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 26 for frequency analysis. As a result, the most common application of the SCAMPER method was in 2022. First, the most used SCAMPER method for design was the "modify" method, changing details into various forms. The second method was the "adapt" method in which parts of the design or details were added and connected. The third mehtod was the "magnify" method of enlarging the length of the jacket. The fourth method was the "eliminate" method, removing parts of the jacket bodice, collar, or sleeves.

A Study on the Analysis of the Trend of installations Using 3D Printing Technique (3D프린팅 조형설치물 경향분석에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this study was to derive a new trend by analyzing installations using 3D printing that are out of the limits of size and design according to the trends of developing 3D printing technology. This paper classified the types of installations using 3D printing and analyzed them with two trends: the trend of design and the trend of output. The trends of installations using 3D printing derived from this study are as follows. First, as the implementation of design through an algorithm is accomplished, the transformation appears with the atypical design that is prominent in complex expression. Second, Robotics and FDM 3D Printing is fused, which is changing the existing paradigm. Therefore, the production and utilization of installations using 3D printing proceeded at a faster pace through the interaction between the algorithm design method and freeform 3D printing technology. This study was conducted on installations using 3D printing around the world and played a basic role in the research on the production of installations using 3D printing along with domestic 3D printing technology to be developed in the future. Follow-up studies in various aspects, such as materials and combination methods, will be needed.

  • Mobile GUI design is changing from an existing design that emphasizes intuitive cognitive effects to an affordance design that naturally triggers users' behaviors. However, in the GUI design, the current affordance only uses some partial design elements and cannot achieve effective design, and the concept of affordance design still has confusion and uncertainty. For this reason, this paper redefines affordance by examining the concepts and types of it in the pre-research. In addition, through questioning the type of affordance, a questionnaire was designed for the GUI elements of social software. According to the results of the survey, the evaluation of the affordance of the GUI design elements was derived, and the GUI design of the social software was compared and analyzed. Then according to the deep interviews, a GUI design proposal that can effectively use affordance was proposed.

  • The purpose of study is to know how a tendency of organic design have become in mordern architecture-from 20C. architecture to current architecture. In particular, I want to find it out in digital architecture-one of current architecture. To do this, first, I research concept, categories, characteristics of organic design in mordern architecture. Second, I observe theoretical background and analyze design characteristics of digital architecture. Finally, I recognize form of digital architecture have a side of a tendency of organic design.
