산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국디자인진흥원이 주관한 '디자인코리아 2014'가 지난 11월 6일부터 10일까지 5일간 일산 킨텍스 제1전시장에서 열렸다. 이번 전시회에서는 국내외 디자인 우수상품 2천여점이 전시됐으며, 디자인의 밤, 디자인 비즈니스 콘퍼런스를 비롯해 다양한 부대행사가 열렸다.

This study is to analyze the present situation of Incheon design and to research Incheon industrial design with the special character of the city. Next, the final purpose is to apply this study for the Incheon International Design Competition event that will be held first time sponsored by Incheon Metropolitan. Incheon is Metropolitan which has 2.6 million people and the entrance of seoul Metropolitan which is the center of export industry and one of the greatest industrial city. It is growing the hub of International trade city of the twenty-first centry due to the opening of Incheon International Airport and the new development of Song-do city. The industrial structure of Incheon is mostly consist of small industry centered which has a lack of design development capacity, and it has a little insufficient design-related institutes which can educate the design personnel. It has only two universities and six junior colleges. Especially, design-related academics and exhibitions are rare nearby Seoul area. I will contribute the study which makes the industrial character and the necessity of design that can be possible through the Incheon International Design Exhibition, and it will promote the backward design industry and economy of Incheon that compared to other regions of Korea. And, I am going to utilize as basic data bases for exercising advanced Incheon Industrial Design Competition. Furthermore, I would like to contribute the image improvement of new International Incheon Metropolitan through the training of excellent design experts and finding design-related personnels which can be accomplished the cooperation among local autonomy, industries and schools.

A change request in design education is a phenomenon manifested by changes in the value of the industry and market demands. Changes in external requirements and internal values that affect the design industry today are shifting from consumer-centered design to stakeholder-centered design. At the center of these changes, design education should be transformed into an educational mechanism that conforms to the characteristics of each field and design specialization should coincide with the direction of the capitalist market. Design specialization must realize the policy of education in economic value first, and should be changed to a design process that enhances rationality and efficiency from the previous apprenticeship education.

In order to suggest the utilization measures suitable of the 4th industry and design right in the management of jewelry company and also applying it to Korean jewelry industry, Also, the current status of Korean jewelry industry and design right was researched. Based on the theoretical background, the hypotheses were set up. After conducting a survey on the 4th industry, design right, management mind, and management intention targeting jewelry industry workers focusing on the set-up hypotheses. In the results The job currently working for in the jewelry industry and the job desired in the future were the design with the highest ratio, so that the importance of design was high in Korean jewelry industry. Also, design was the first priority of management mind, important elements of jewelry industry management, and successful management strategy while technology showed a bit less importance than factors of marketing, capital, and personal connections.

전 세계인의 삶을 송두리째 바꾸어 놓은 코로나19로 인해 산업 전반에도 큰 변화가 예상된다. 특히 가처분 소득 감소와 소비 심리 수축으로 꼭 필요한 것에만 지갑을 여는 구매자들이 늘어날 것으로 전망된다. 과거보다 더욱 깐깐해진 구매자의 시선을 잡기 위해 가장 중요한 것 중 하나가 패키징 디자인이다. 사람에 대한 첫 인상이 3초 안에 결정되는 것처럼 좋은 패키징 디자인으로 구매자의 시선을 한번에 사로 잡을 수 있기 때문이다. 포스트 코로나시대를 맞아 국내 최대 디자이너 커뮤니티이자 산업 디자인 콘테스트 플랫폼인 '라우드소싱'과 함께 패키징 제조업체들이 주목해야 할 패키지 디자인에 대한 시리즈를 총 4회에 걸쳐 진행한다.

Until recently, ind ustrial designers designed the product packaging of Eletronic Media, and userInterface designers focused primarily on software design, But as computer related technology continues to evolve, this distinction has become ambiguous, As a natural consequence of these trends, industrial designers are getting more involved in user-interface design to develop interactive objects, Moreover, In the future, the whole Information of a product whIch means product packaging, marketing, training matenals, support as weIl as hardware and software will be regarded as a product, and user's entIre expenences including the material elements of product will be taken for the factors of user interface to expand the category of user interface design. The importance of interface design and its applications within industrial design has been stressed in the recent years, However researches on practical process in interface design developments have been rarely established. This paper aims to develop the interaction design process for the useful user-interface design by theoretical study and actual analysis of user-interface design.

현대의 디자인 산업은 환경을 파괴하던 산업구조를 벗어나 에코디자인을 필두로 친환경적 디자인에 몰두 하여 업사이클에 큰 관심을 보이고 있다. 다양한 산업과 함께 패션 장신구 산업도 친환경적 디자인을 적용, 업사이클 장신구를 개발해야 할 때이다. 이 논문은 다양한 측면에서 업사이클의 개념을 이해하고 사례를 탐구하여 패션장신구 산업의 업사이클 방향을 제시한다.

류명식 (주)해인기획 대표이사가 구랍 10일 서울 플라자호텔 메이플홀에서 개최된 (사)한국디자인단체총연합회(이하 디총) 정기총회에서 제10대 회장으로 선출됐다. 디총은 26개 디자인 관련 학회 및 단체를 회원으로 하는 대한민국 디자인계 대표 단체다. 디자인 정책개발, 회원단체 지원, 디자인 풍토 조성, 디자인을 통한 국가 사회 기여 등을 위해 1995년 한국디자인법인단체총연합회라는 이름으로 출범, 2004년 현재의 명칭으로 변경했다. '세계디자인정책포럼'과 '국가디자인정책포럼' 등을 통해 우리나라 디자인 산업 발전에 크게 기여하고 있다. 국내 디자인 관련 학계 및 단체를 대표하는 수장으로 선출, 인쇄인의 자긍심과 위상을 크게 높인 류명식 신임 회장을 만나 앞으로의 계획에 대해 들어봤다.

우리나라의 니트 산업은 값싼 노동력을 바탕으로 빠르게 성장하는 중국과 같은 개발도상국들의 니트 산업으로 인하여 국내 및 해외 시장에서 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 어려운 시장환경을 극복하기 위해 우리나라 니트 산업은 고품격의 디자인으로써 고부가가치를 생산하는 니트 선진국의 모델로 발전해 나가야 한다는 과제에 당면해 있다. 현재 우리나라 니트제품 생산업체의 디자인과정을 보면 아웃소싱 전략에 따라 기업마다 디자인 개발과정이 다르게 나타나고 있는 것을 볼 수 있다. 즉, 어떤 경우에는 한 기업 내에서 수행되고, 또 어떤 경우에는 하도급 형태로 jobber에게서 이루어지기도 한다. This study was intended to analyze the present condition and problems of education by examining the curriculum of departments relating to IT design in community colleges in the environment of IT that more rapidly grew than any other sector due to the development of information and communication and smart device, focusing on the actual condition. And it was intended to present a scheme for the improvement of IT design curriculum in community colleges in preparation for the surveyed industry demand in IT sector. First of all, this study attempted to check how IT designers' work changed according to the change of technology in industrial scene through a survey of job in IT industry and an analysis of IT industry trends. As a result, it was shown that the work of IT designers who had carried out web design work extended to mobile design, and school education also required mobile education according to the change of the times. Here, through task analysis, it was possible to find that web design and mobile design was not fundamentally entirely different, but was within the range where it was perfectly possible to carry out mobile design work if mobile environment and condition was understood and an education was given together with the existing curriculum.
