본 연구는 계량서지학적 측정을 통해 국내 문헌정보학자들의 연구동향을 규명하기 위하여, 국제적으로 가장 영향력 있는 사회과학분야 학술지에 대한 대표적인 인용색인 데이터베이스인 SSCI에 게재된 논문을 대상으로 다양한 관점, 즉 저자별, 주제별, 저널별. 출신학교별, 소속대학별, 연도별, 연령별, 핵심전공주제별, 핵심저자별 및 핵심저널별로 분석하였다. 본 연구는 향후 국내 문헌정보학의 국제화 및 이에 따른 연구방향을 제시하는데 유용할 것으로 본다.

올해로 창립 10돌을 맞는 한국분자생물학회는 현재 회원이 4천명이 넘는 국내 최대 학회중의 하나로 학술대회, 심포지엄, 주제강연, 포스터발표, 기기전시회 등 다양한 학술활동을 펴오고 있다. 학회에서 발행하는 학술지 "Molecules and Cells"는 국제 과학잡지 인용목록에 등재되어 국제적인 학술지로 인정받고 있으며 세계적으로 권위있는 잡지에 회원들의 논문발표가 늘어나고 있어 2000년대에는 노벨상 수상자의 탄생도 기대되고 있다.

Today, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a key driver of national competitiveness, but it is also causing unexpected side effects in society. This study intends to examine major social issues by collecting papers on AI targeting KCI journals in the field of social science. Therefore, we conducted keyword analysis of papers from 2016 to 2020. As a result of the analysis, the keywords for 'robot' and 'education' appeared the most, and the top six clusters (issues) were derived through the keyword network. The main issues are as follows: the background and/or basic concept of AI, AI education, side effects of AI, legal issues of AI-based creations, intention to use AI products/services, and AI ethics. The results of this study can be used to expand the discussion on the social aspects of AI and to find policy directions at the national level.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the interrelation among research areas based on domestic journal papers, achievements of korea researchers. Generally, the content of papers is appeared through abstracts, subjects, full-text and so on. This paper is focused on subject terms of Domestic journal papers. The experimental data are 80 domestic journals, 7,616 papers and 58,143 subject terms and papers published in 2009. As the result, it was different to use subject terms on each research area: Engineering, Agriculture & Oceanography, Interdisciplinary Science, Social Science, Arts & Physical Education, Medicine & Pharmacology, Humanities and Natural Science. Subject terms of Engineering have used the most in the other research areas in aspect of term co-occurrence. The 8 research areas were grouped in 3 clusters: C1(Engineering, Natural Science, Social Science, Interdisciplinary Science, Humanities), C2(Medicine & Pharmacology, Arts & Physical Education), and C3(Agriculture & Oceanography).

In order to find out the relationship between the indicator of scholarly impact and e-Journal usage in Korea, we analyzed the correlation between the usage statistics of e-Journals published by American Chemical Society, Science, Elsevier and Wiley which was licensed by KESLI consortia in 2006 and impact factor in JCR 2006. We selected 4 universities and 5 research institutes as target institutions which participated in all of the 4 consortia and had higher frequency of e-Journal usage than others. In this correlation analysis we used variables such as the subjects of journals, the types of institution, and impact factor.

The role of scholarly journals in academic world is widely know and is recognized as the most important tool to improve the quality of scholarly communication. To do this, reasonable and legitimate evaluation methods are to be designed and to be applied. However, despite a lot of criticism regarding this issue, current journal evaluation policies have not drawn attention in related disciplines. In this regard, this paper attempts to shed light on some aspects related to the Korea Research Foundation's journal evaluation policy. Potential problems are particularly highlighted. It also addresses issues in using such data and tools in evaluating scholarly performance of researchers in academic institutions.

There have been little comprehensive research for studying impact of foreign journals on Korean scientists. The main reason for this is because there was no extensive citation index database of domestic journals for analysis. Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) built the Korea Science Citation Database (KSCD), and have provided Korea Science Citation Index (KSCI) and Korea Journal Citation Reports (KJCR) services. In this article, citing behavior of Korean scientists on foreign journals was examined by using KSCD that covers Korean core journals. This research covers (1) analysis of foreign document types cited, (2) analysis of citation counts of foreign journals by subject and the ratio of citing different disciplines, (3) analysis of language and country of foreign documents cited, (4) analysis of publishers of journals and whether or not journals are listed on global citation index services and (5) analysis for current situation of subscribing to foreign electronic journals in Korea. The results of this research would be useful for establishing strategies for licensing foreign electronic journals and for information services. From this research, immediacy citation rate (average 1.46%), peak-time (average 3.9 years) and half-life (average 8 years) of cited foreign journals were identified. It was also found that Korean scientistis tend to cite journals covered in SCI(E) or SCOPUS, and 90% of cited foreign journals have been licensed by institutions in Korea.

과학기술 학술활동은 원천기술 확보의 기반인 기초연구를 강화하기 위한 핵심요소이다. 논문과 학술지는 학술 커뮤니티에서 사전 연구기획과 사후 결과 활용의 핵심 수단으로써 중요한 기능을 담당하며 과학기술과 함께 발전해 왔다. 따라서 학술지 종수와 논문 발표 건수, 피인용 현황은 해당 주제 분야의 동향을 파악하는데 매우 중요하다. 이 연구에서는 최근 11년간 JCR 과학기술 주제분야(176개)별 논문 편수와 피인용도 증감 변화를 조사하여 새로운 주제분야(학문)의 생성과 성장가능성을 살펴 보았다.

This paper examined what factors affect the immediacy index showing the average number of times an article is cited in the year it is published. Not only Seventy-one immediacy indexes for subject field biology on JCR 2008 edition were gathered, but also many characteristics of scholarly journals that may influence the indexes directly or indirectly were aggregated. Simple correlation coefficient analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis were performed on the paper. Therefore factors such as physical volume, availability, forthcoming issue, age and language explaining 67.64% of total variance were identified. After regression analysis using these factors as independent variables, the results were statistically significant. The results showed physical volumes, the total pages of publication, have an influence upon immediacy indexes obviously, although it is expected that journal reputations may affect immediacy indexes. Generally open access journals had high immediacy indexes. High ranked journals on immediacy index were apt to be issued frequently, uploaded very often on PMC, and published in major countries including United States and United Kingdom.

Following the protocols for meta-analysis process, this study aims to determine the current state and effectiveness of stress reduction programs for young children. A population, intervention, comparisons, outcomes, study design strategy was established, and 2,322 pieces of literature from 3 electronic databases of RISS, KISS and DBpia using the key words such as"young children stress"were reviewed. Twenty-seven of these references met inclusion and exclusion criteria for systematic review and 19 references were selected for meta-analysis. Analysis results are as follows. (1) Most of the literature was published around 2010. Many types of stress reduction programs were related to physical activity for 5-year-old children. (2) Stress reduction programs were found to have positive effects on young children's stress reduction and especially, psychological therapy activity programs are more effective than others. The implications of the systematic review findings are discussed in the article.
