It is said to be very difficult to maintain the aids to navigation such as buoys end lighthouses due to their geographical characteristics. This paper, as a part task of the construction of aids to navigation control center, describes the method to make the module for remote-controlling lighthouses and buoys. We become to be able nor only to get informations such as the condition of lights and batteries, but also to control remotely the aids to navigation by using microwaves so as to maintain them in good condition.

국내 연안에 설치된 항로표지(등부표,등대 등) 대부분이 철근 콘크리트 형식으로 제작 설치 되어 있다. 초기 구조물 제작시 파손 및 전단, 염해에의 한 콘크리트의 부식에 대한 인식 부족으로 일반적인 색상표시 도장방식으로 마감처리 하여 설치 하였다. 이로 인하여 콘크리트의 파손, 도장부의 탈락으로 인하여 매년 유지보수비용이 투입되고 있는 실정이다. 또한 부식진행 후 현장여건상 보수도장이 취약하고 보수 후에도 내구성 부족(방오수명 2년~3년)으로 지속적인 관리가 필요하다. 그러므로 항로표지의 신규 설치시 강관조 형식의 설계적용이 요구되며 강관조의 가장 큰 취약점인 부식(녹)에 대한 방오방법의 연구가 지속적으로 진행되고 있다. 또한 기 설치된 해상 금속구조물의 경우 보수작업시 장비반입, 작업시간, 작업여건 등이 비말대, 간만대에 따라 변동 하므로 원칙적인 보수가 불가능한 상황에 있다. 그러므로 초기 제작시 부식에 대한 방오도장이 시행 되어야 한다. 기 설치된 콘크리트 구조물 등표는 원칙적인 구조보강 검토 후 염해, 중성화 방지 도장을 시행 하여야 하며 이에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있다.

국내에는 선박의 안전항해를 위해서 다양한 종류의 항로표지가 설치되어 운영되고 있으며, 각 지방해양항만청에서 개별적으로 관리되고 있다. 현재 운영되고 있는 항로표지의 종류는 유인 등대를 포함하여 등부표, 입표, 음향표지, 전파 표지 등이 있으며, 그 설치 형태와 기능이 너무 다양하기 때문에 일반화 된 형태의 데이터로 통합 관리되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 한편, 국제항로표지협회(IALA)에서는 항로표지 설계와 배치 계획에 대한 의사 결정을 지원하고 검증할 수 있는 항로표지 시뮬레이터 시스템의 필요성을 제기하고 있으며, 이를 위해서는 국내의 항만별 항로표지 데이터에 대한 통합 데이터베이스 구축이 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 국내 주요 항만에 설치되어 있는 주요 항로표지의 속성정보를 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 항로표지 시뮬레이터용 데이터베이스 시스템을 설계하고 구축하는 방법에 대하여 기술한다.

With this actuality, sea advanced nation of EU, USA, Japan that has been apply for developing AtoN AIS equipment that is connected equipment of technology standard in IALA. Because of it is expected to depend equipment in income, that is required to domestic technology of the AtoN AIS. This paper is targeted to development that is suitable automation AtoN AIS equipment in environmental peculiarity for constructor AtoN operating administration center. It has been realization send protocol for information interchange.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a development plan for the waterfront in the coastal ocean. The research method is conducted mainly on various materials such as marine design, waterfront, marine industry, harbor waterfront space, marine landscape related reports, papers, and articles. As a result, it was found that it is urgent to move, dismantle, and manage various sculptures or structures that are installed on the shore and cause visual pollution. The location management and maintenance of indiscriminately scattered fishing grounds are urgently needed, secure sufficient green buffer space, develop coastal marine roads across the country, create eco-tourism sites, contribute to regional revitalization and secure the production value of aquatic products by restoring the ecosystem. This study is expected to contribute to suggesting a direction for maintenance by focusing on the main management measures of the waterfront rather than the aspect of reckless development of marine design.

The present conservation status on the rare and endangered plants in Tokyusan National Park were surveyed and re-evaluated by the new criteria which prepared by I.U.C.N. The species such as Lonicera vidalii, Clematis chiisanensis, Cypripedium macranthum and Allium taquetii were grouped as Critical, Eranthis stellata, Abies koreana, Taxus cuspidata, Tricyrtis dilatata, Paeonia japonaca, Stewartia koreana, Rhododendron tschnoskii, Buplerum euphorbioides, Lilium cernum and Oreorchis patens were grouped as Endangered, Adonis amurenis and Disporum ovale were grouped as Vulnerable. The above mentioned species were mainly located at the vicinity of mountain trails and projected developing sites. The potentials for the habitat destructions, mainly, due to human activities are expected to be serious in the future unless the proper management plans prepared for the specific plants and the specific habitats.

Ships and marine structures(lighthouses and buoys for AtoN) have AIS(Automatic Identification System) for transmission messages which include navigational and environmental information. VTS Center and surrounding ships receive and apply the information to safety navigation. A main characteristic of AIS messages is open to general people, so many researches are in progress. In this paper, we design an information management system which considers marine vessel traffic and environmental information in korean littoral sea. The system gathers and processes the information, and stores the processed data to multi-stage database. Also the system visualizes the stored data to use analysis and statistics based on ENC.

In order to restore the identity of sound environment and expand the sound culture of a region, the purpose of this study are to excavate the resources of soundscape and find out the plans for the preservation and promotion of soundscape resources peculiar to the region. For this purpose, this research is conducted through an interview survey of residents and an observation survey using listening walk in Hongdo, one of the southwesten island of Korea. The results of survey confirm that there are so many sounds to hear around Hongdo island, those are, natural sounds such as the song of the birds, the roar of the waves, the whistling sounds, the shriek of the seagulls, and the pebbles sounds washed away by the waves, and artificial sounds such as the steam-whistle signals, the ship's broadcasts, the voice of tourists, the sounds of church bells, lighthouse sirens etc. The results suggest that it is necessary to consider several ways for restoration of an unique soundscape in Hongdo island, those are, improvement for efficient management of a ship's broadcasts in public areas, removal of a ferry in Hongdo swimming beach, management of Dangsanje (a religious service), preservation of a lighthouse siren and a foghorn, restoration and improvement of underground stream, management and control of public fish market, restoration of brooklet, management of cooperative system for a fish market, restoration of PoongO-Gut (a ritual for a large harvest) and a skate festival, management of a Hongdo sports meeting, sound quality modification of a boat whistle, restoration of orientalia such as a funeral bier, ecosystem preservation activity of the shore and ocean, and promotion of amenity for fascination and vitality in a rural community. Also, a sound map is drawn up for many tourists so as to realize the importance of sound environment and identity of soundscape and to gain their experience at first hand in Hongdo island.
