The Variables Affecting Adolescents' Conformity Behavior in Bullying (청소년 집단 따돌림에서 동조 행동의 영향 변인)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the variables affecting adolescents' conformity behavior in bullying. The study subjects were 753 middle school and high school students. The data were analyzed using Chi-Square, ANOVA, and hierarchical regression analysis. The major findings are as follows. 1. The variables affecting bully-conformity behavior were sympathy, close friends to confide in, anxiety, social skills, and family harmony. The variables affecting victim-conformity behavior were social skills, sex, attitude toward school atmosphere, anxiety, and sympathy. The variables affecting onlooker behavior were anxiety, sex, and close friends to confide in. 2. Sympathy, self-esteem and social skills were higher in the victim-conformity group than in the other two groups. Anxiety was higher in the onlooker group than in the other two groups. In the case of the victim-conformity group compared to the bully-conformity group, the parents showed more generous attitude toward their children, a more harmonious atmosphere existed within family members, and the group showed better relationship with teachers. Finally, the victim-conformity group showed a positive attitude toward school atmosphere, compared to the other two groups.

Performance Test of a Tuned Liquid Mass Damper installed in a Real-Scaled Structure (실물크기 구조물에 설치된 동조액체질량감쇠기의 성능실험)

  • In this paper, a tuned liquid1) mass damper(TLMD) was proposed and experimentally investigated on its control performance, which can control bi-axial responses of building structures by using only one device. The proposed TLMD controls the structural response in a specific one direction by using a liquid sloshing of TLCD. Also, the TLMD reduces the response of structures in the other orthogonal direction by behaving as a TMD that uses mass of the container itself and liquid within container of TLCD installed on linear motion guides. Force-vibration tests on a real-sized structure installed with the TLMD were performed to verify its independent behavior in two orthogonal directions. Test results showed that the responses of a structure were considerably reduced by using the proposed TLMD and its usefulness for structural control in two orthogonal directions.

  • This paper presents the method for the automatic tuning of a design weighting polynomial parameters of a generalized minimum-variance stochastic ultivariable self-tuning controller which adapts to changes in the higher order nonminimum phase system parameters with time delays and noises. The self-tuning effect is achieved through the recursive least square algorithm at the parameter estimation stage and also through the Robbins-Monro algorithm at the stage of optimizing the design weighting polynomial parameters of the controller. The proposed multivariable self-tuning method is simple and effective compared with pole restriction method. The computer simulation results are presented to adapt the higher order multivariable system with nonminimum phase and with changeable system parameters.

Optimum Tuning of PID-PD Controller considering Robust Stability and Sensor Noise Insensitivity (센서 잡음 저감도 및 안정-강인성을 고려한 PID-PD 제어기의 최적 동조)

  • In this paper, we propose a tuning method of PID-PD controller to satisfy design specifications in frequency domain as well as time domain. The proposed tuning method of PID-PD controller consists of the convex set of PID and PI-PD controller. PID-PD controller controls the closed-loop response to be located between the step responses, and Bode magnitudes of closed-loop transfer functions controlled by PID and PI-PD controller. The controller is designed by the optimum tuning method to minimize the proposed specific cost function subject to sensor noise insensitivity and robust stability. Its effectiveness is examined by the case study and analysis.

  • 본 논문에서는 UHF TV방송 전 대역 Ch.14(473MHz)$\sim$Ch.69(803MHz)까지의 모든 채널에서 동작하는 유도결합구조의 RF동조회로를 설계하였다. 기존 자기결합구조의 RF동조회로는 PCB 양면을 사용하여야 하고 수작업으로 Air Coil 간격을 조절해야만 한다. 부품의 집적화와 양산 효율성 측면에서 자기결합구조의 단점을 해결할 수 있도록 하기 위해 본 논문에서 제안한 유도결합구조는 수동부품인 칩인덕터와 칩커패시터 및 가변용량 다이오드만을 사용하여 RF동조회로를 설계하였다. 칩인덕터는 Air Coil에 비해 낮은 소자 Q값을 가진다. 상대적으로 낮은 Q값을 갖는 칩인덕터를 사용하기 때문에 이를 보완하기 위해 Peaking용 칩인덕터를 설계 디자인에 적용하였다. 가변형 대역통과필터로 동작하기 위해 자기결합구조와 동일하게 가변용량 다이오드를 이용하였다. UHF TV방송 전 대역(470$\sim$806MHz)에서 -2.88 $\sim$ -3.97dB의 삽입손실 특성 및 -8dB 이상의 반사손실 특성과 330MHz의 중심주파수 변화 범위를 갖는다. 현재 상용중인 지상파 튜너에 적용되고 있는 자기결합구조의 RF동조회로를 대치하여 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • This paper deals with the precise temperature control of the heater used at a weaving thread or a drawn process. For precise temperature control, we suggest a design method that is auto-tuning IMC-PID controller using an optimization method uDEAS. For this method, we model the roll heater from the measurement data and we automatically tune the low pass filter value of IMC-PID controller that satisfies stability and conrol performance. Finally, we implement the designed controller using DSP kit.

  • In this paper, we propose a PID-PD controller and its tuning method to be modified form of PID controller that consist of the affine set of PID and PI-PD controller by analyzing relation between these controllers. The proposed tuning method controls the closed-loop system to locate between the step responses of system controlled by PID and PI-PD controller.   • Acoustic behavior in combustion chamber with acoustic cavity is numerically investigated by adopting linear acoustic analysis. Helmholtz-type resonator is employed as a cavity model to suppress acoustic instability. The tuning frequency of acoustic cavity is adjusted by varying the sound speed in acoustic cavity. Acoustic pressure responses of chamber to acoustic oscillating excitation are shown md acoustic damping effect of acoustic cavity is quantified by damping factor. As the tuning frequency approaches the target frequency of the resonant mode, mode split from the original resonant mode to lower and upper modes appears and thereby damping effect is degraded. Considering mode split and damping effect as a function of tuning frequency, it is desirable to make acoustic cavity tuned to maximum frequency of those of the possible splitted upper modes.

  • This study focuses the importance of relation between information attributes and communication of internet user. The author is to clarify how to communicate in internet environment and word-of-mouth as a result of social influence among internet user take place in relation to information attributes. The main findings are that comprehensive ease, relevance and novelty among information attributes positively influence reciprocal communication, reciprocal communication positively influences internalization and conformity, and those positively influence word-of-mouth communication.

  • In this paper, we designed a current controlling servo system for speed control of a PMSM. In existing auto-tuning methods for PI controller parameters, the output response is delayed and the overshoot is generated. By solving these existing problems in this paper, a new PI auto-tuning method is applied to the speed controller for fast-response and reduced overshoot. PMSM servo systems offer a great advantage in unmanned factories where a great number of servo motors are employed, because of its easy maintenance characteristics and controllability. The implemented servo system is composed of absolute position detecting circuits of a rotor, a new auto-tuning PI control algorithm, a speed controller by using DSP, and power driving section. The proposed servo system is verified for it's practical availability by considering experimental results.
