The Optimization of Near Duplicate Detection Using Representative Unigram Grouping (대표 Unigram 군집화를 통한 유사중복문서 검출 최적화)

  • SNS, 블로그의 이용이 늘어나면서, 문서의 복제와 재생산이 빈번하게 발생함에 따라 대용량 문서에서의 유사중복문서 검출이 큰 이슈로 제기되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국어 문서를 대상으로 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 품질을 유지하면서 신속하게 문서집합 중 유사중복문서를 검출하는 방법에 대해 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘에서는 문서를 대표하는 고빈도 Unigram Token을 활용하여 문서를 군집화함으로써 비교 대상을 최소화 하였다. 실험결과, 76만 문서에서 기존 방법 대비 평균 0.88의 Recall을 유지하면서도 중복을 검출하는데 있어서 십수초내에 처리가 가능함을 보였다. 향후 대용량 검색시스템 및 대용량 이미지, 동영상 유사중복 검출에도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • In this paper, we design and implement an agent-based mask dance guidance system which provides multimedia information on traditional masques through WWW. When the server receives a query from the client, it produces the multimedia data by connecting several real full-motion videos, and synthesizing adequate voice data for guiding announcement. To develop an agent-based guidance system, we designed and implemented four agents such as interface agent, user modeling agent coordinator agent and data management agent. The mask dance guidance system also provides the functions of searching using the keyword and learning.

Temporal Texture modeling for Video Retrieval (동영상 검색을 위한 템포럴 텍스처 모델링)

  • In the video retrieval system, visual clues of still images and motion information of video are employed as feature vectors. We generate the temporal textures to express the motion information whose properties are simple expression, easy to compute. We make those temporal textures of wavelet coefficients to express motion information, M components. Then, temporal texture feature vectors are extracted using spatial texture feature vectors, i.e. spatial gray-level dependence. Also, motion amount and motion centroid are computed from temporal textures. Motion trajectories provide the most important information for expressing the motion property. In our modeling system, we can extract the main motion trajectory from the temporal textures.

  • 본 논문은 개인이 소장하고 있는 문서, 이미지, 오디오, 동영상 등의 미디어를 통합 관리하는 개인용 미디어 관리 소프트웨어의 필요성, 기능, 인터페이스 등에 관한 사용자 요구사항을 정리한다. 사용자 요구사항은 사용자 설문을 통해서 조사되었으며, 설문에는 사용자 환경과 개인용 미디어 관리 소프트웨어에 필요한 기능, 인터페이스에 관한 내용을 담고 있다 사용자 요구 사항에서 사용자들은 다수의 미디어를 컴퓨터에 저장하고 있으며, 이들을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 필요로 하고 있다. 이들을 관리하기 위한 기능으로 미디어 분석, 분류, 검색, 재생 기능을 필요로 한다. 그리고 사용자들은 컴퓨터뿐만 아니라 핸드폰, PDA와 같은 모바일 기기에서도 개인용 미디어를 관리하고자 한다. 인터페이스에서는 키보드와 마우스 입력과 함께 모바일 기기를 위한 음성 인터페이스에 대한 요구가 있다.

  • 방송 환경의 디지털화와 더불어 단순히 단방향 방송 정보만을 시청하던 기존의 방식을 넘어 사용자의 다양한 욕구를 수용할 수 있는 대화형 방송 서비스(interactive broadcasting service)가 시작되고 있다. 대화형 방송 환경에서는 특히 사용자 측에 제공된 방대한 양의 디지털 멀티미디어 자료에 대한 효과적인 접근이 요구되는데, 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 방송 비디오를 효과적으로 브라우징(browsing) 및 검색하고 전체의 내용을 짧은 시간 내에 개관할 수 있도록 하는 동적 비디오 요약(dynamic video abstraction) 기법에 관하여 고찰한다. 동적 비디오 요약에 의한 요약 비디오(skim video)는 전체 비디오를 내용에 기반하여 효과적으로 표현할 수 있도록 동영상 내의 주요 구간만으로 구성된 것으로, 대화형 방송에서 새로운 형태의 프로그램 안내 및 사용자 저장 자료에 대한 브라우징 도구 등으로써 매우 유용하게 사용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 자동으로 비디오 요약을 구현하기 위한 접근 방법과 전체 기능 구성 및 각 기능들의 구현 방법에 대하여 기술한다.

A Method of Describing and Retrieving Movement of an Object by Using the Shape Variation of an Object (객체의 모양 변화를 이용한 동작 표현 및 검색 방법)

  • In the content-based video retrieval applications, the information on the movement of an object can be used as important in classifying the content. In particular, analyzing and classifying human movement can be used for various purposes as well as retrieval. In this paper, a method to improve the performance of the shape variation descriptor and shape sequence to describe and classify movement using shape information that changes according to the movement of an object is proposed. By selecting a shape descriptor to more efficiently describe the shape information of an object and comparing the distance function used to measure the similarity, the description and retrieval efficiency of movement information can be increased. Through experiments, it was shown that the proposed method can describe movement information more efficiently and increase the retrieval efficiency compared to the previous method.

  • Recently, ISO/IEC 23000 (also known as 'MPEG-A') has proposed a new file format called 'MAF(Multimedia Application File Format)[1]' which provides a capability of integrating/storing the widely-used compression standards for audio and video and the metadata in MPEG-7 form into a single file format. However, it is still very hard to verify the usefulness of MPEG-A in the real applications because there is still no real system that fully implements this standard. In this thesis, a design and implementation of a multimedia retrieval system based on MPEG-A standard on PC and mobile device is presented. Furthermore, an extension of MPEG-A for describing the metadata for video is also proposed. It is selected and defined as a subset of MPEG-7 MDS[4] and TV-anytime[5] for video that is useful and manageable in the mobile environments. In order to design the multimedia retrieval system based on MPEG-A, we define the system requirements in terms of portability, extensibility, compatibility, adaptability, efficiency. Based on these requirements, we design the system which composed of 3 layers: Application Layer, Middleware Layer, Platform Layer. The proposed system consists of two sub-parts, client-part and server-part. The client-part consists of MAF authoring tool, MAP player tool and MAF searching tool which allow users to create, play and search the MAF files, respectively. The server-part is composed of modules to store and manage the MAF files and metadata extracted from MAF files. We show the usefulness of the proposed system by implementing the client system both on MS-Windows platform on desk-top computer and WIPI platform on mobile phone, and validate whether it to satisfy all the system requirements. The proposed system can be used to verify the specification in the MPEG-A, and to proves the usefulness of MPEG-A in the real application.

The Development of Application for Culinary Practice Education using Smart Device (스마트 디바이스 기반 조리실습교육용 앱 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to produce and distribute a smart device based educational application for culinary practice. This study was performed from Jul. 1 to Dec. 30, 2012. The design of the application is composed of the theoretical contents, making methods, practice video and evaluation questions of Western cuisine among the contents of the culinary practice education. In addition, the notice and Q&A were added for the interaction between teachers and learners. For this study, 31 main dishes' pictures, 155 pictures for making processes by menu, 31 recipes, 31 cooking tips, 372 evaluation questions and 31 cooking videos about 31 menus were produced. The contents produced as above were directly inserted at 'http://kongju-fn.dslink.co.kr/super/index.html' to produce the application. This application can be found through searching with the word of 'yoribaksa'. This study can be considered to be significant in that this application was produced in the situation of the absence of any other previous applications for culinary practice education.

A Study on the Effective ICT used Learning for the Lifelong Education by e-Learning (이러닝 평생교육을 위한 효과적인 ICT 활용 교육 방안)

  • In this paper, I explored the direction of ICT used learning that can improve the access ability of e-learning to activate a neglected class's lifelong education by e-learning. I had a good grasp of a neglected class's actual condition of the access ability of e-learning and presented the direction of basic ICT used learning for the adults that can improve the access ability for the lifelong education by e-learning. According to the result of this research, it was found that the adult learners had a considerable disparity by age group. Therefore, it is desirable that they had to learn ICT used learning with considering the actual condition by age. Teenagers and 20 years of age need to be learned in order of an Internet club, word processor, moving picture and etc. It needs to be teamed for the $30{\sim}40$ age bracket lil order of a chat, an Internet club, searching engines and etc and for the $30{\sim}40$ age bracket in order of a chat, an Internet club and moving picture and etc. And also it needs to induce a neglected class to develope participation abilities for themselves by activating an internet club activity.

Analysis of Current Use Smartphone of 3 to 5 Years old Children and Parents' Perception

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the use of smartphones by children aged 3 to 5 years old and to propose a plan for prevention of overdependence. To this end, the data of 909 people aged 3 to 5 years old were used in the study from the raw data of the '2019 Smartphone Overdependence Survey' conducted by the National Information Society Agency. The research results are as follows : Infants aged 3 to 5 were using their smartphone for an average of more than an hour a day, it was found that smartphones were used in the order of video services and games, listening to music, educational contents and search services. Parents were found to be tolerant of their children's smartphone usage time and dependence. In particular, despite the fact that most infants and toddlers use smartphones to watch videos and use game content, they are not concerned. Therefore, parental education content for the use of smartphones by infants and toddlers needs to include comprehensive content on media use.
