A study on the arrangement of integrated power system for warship (함정의 통합 전력시스템 구성에 관한 연구)

  • According to IEEE 1662(2009), IPS is a power system where all prime movers produce electrical power that is shared among propulsion, mission, and ship service loads. Discriminating attributes of integrated power systems are flexibility of movers' arrangements, mechanical decoupling between prime movers and propulsors, an increased level of energy conversion and transmission redundancy, and flexibility of redistributing available electrical power for future electronic weapons. IPS could have various steps of power that can be produced at optimal load of movers. In this study, an evaluation method for optimal arrangement of movers was investigated when an IPS warship is projected. The two factors are utilized for the quantitative analysis which are the weight of system as the fighting power and the fuel consumption per year as the economic feasibility. And also the ways for arrangement of system were studied according to existence of small diesel generator. The evaluation method that decides the optimization level is based on the DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis)

  • In the culture performance field, device technologies for public performances with new concept is on the rise with the advancement of science. Most designers make use of the performance devices to achieve powerful and dramatic effect in their performances. It increases the perfection of performance. Most of all, applying high technology to performances' stage leads to enhance the space efficiency of the limited stage as well as to enable us to run a fully unmanned performance. This paper proposes a reconstructible electric block system for public performances' stage to heighten the fantastic stage effect variously.

Operational Characteristics of a Domestic Commercial Semi-automatic Vegetable Transplanter (상용 국산 반자동 채소 정식기의 작동 특성 분석)

  • In this study, the operational characteristics of a domestic vegetable transplanter were investigated. The main functional components and power path of the tranplanter were analyzed. The link structure of transplanting device waskinematically analyzed, and 3D modeling and dynamic simulation were performed. Based on this analysis, the trajectory of the bottom end of the transplanting hopper was analyzed. Also, the plant spacing according to the engine speed and the shifting stage of transplanting transmission was analyzed and verified by field test. As main results of this study, the transplanting device is one degree of freedom(DOF) 4-bar link type mechanism which comprises 10 links and 13 rotating joints. The transplanting hopper plants seedlings in a vertical direction while maintaining a constant posture by the links of transplanting device. The power is transmitted to both the driving part and transplanting part from the engine, and the maximum and minimum plant spacing of the transplanting device were 428.97 mm and 261.20 mm.

Analysis of power requirement of the underground crop harvester attached on agricultural tractor during traction operation (트랙터 부착형 땅속작물 수확기의 견인 작업시 소요동력 분석)

  • In Korea, the mechanization ratio of field farming is about 58.3%. Especially, mechanization ratio of harvest operation is 10% or less. So, it is required to improve the mechanization ratio of harvest operation to analyze the power requirement analysis of agricultural tractor. The purpose of this study is to analyze power requirement of the underground crop harvester attached on agricultural tractor for traction operation. First, a power measurement system was developed and installed in 45 kW agricultural tractor. Second, field experiments were conducted at two driving speed levels (1.41, 2.17 km/h), and axle torque and rotation speed were analyzed. At 1.41km/h driving speed, the average power requirement of driving axle is 3.13 kW, respectively, at 2.17km/h driving speed, the average power requirement of driving axle is each 4.20 kW. In addition, the field tests show that as the driving speed increases by 53%, the power requirement of the underground crop harvester attached on agricultural tractor increases by 34%. Therefore, it indicated that the power requirement of agricultural tractor was affected by the driving speed.

  • In the study, it is considered sporty car as 1400cc entry cars using sound generator. These cars are required special sound quality, also sporty sound quality. The operational principle of this sound generator system is that on the operation of the engine intake valves caused pulsating is to shake the membrane of the sound generator on the inside of the driver front dash panel through the intake manifold, which will deliver the required sound quality and tone. For the component constructed sound generator, main design parameters are selected and optimized using the daguchi's method. The results are as follows; The C2 sound level must be minimized and C4 level must be maximized. And also overall level keeps linear characteristics.

  • 제어기술의 발달과 함께 고기능, 고정밀도의 소형전동기가 출현하게 되었으며 소재기술의 진보는 에너지의 고밀도화 및 고효율화를 가져왔다. 고도산업 사회로 진행하는 과정에서 소형전동기의 수요는 큰 폭으로 증가하고 있으며, 다양한 부하특성에 적합한 소형전동기의 원활한 공급은 산업현장에서 매우 절실한 과제가 되고 있다. 또한 기존 전동기와 크게 다른 정전형 전동기와 같이 새로운 원리의 전동기가 출현하여 관성이 작은 부하에 채용되기 시작하였고, 여러 분야의 요소기술이 결합되어 극소형 마이크로 전동기의 출현이 가능하게 되었다. 그러나 국내에서 소비되고 있는 대부분의 소형전동기는 외국으로 부터의 수입에 의존하고 있기 때문에 외화의 유출과 국내 생산기술 개발에 필요한 기초 설계기술 확보의 어려움을 초래하고 있다. 따라서 낙후된 설계 제작 기술에 더욱 관심을 가지고 새로운 소형전동기를 개발하여야 하겠다. 본고에서는 각종 소형전동기를 분류하고, 특히 제어용 전동기를 중심으로 전동기를 포한한 시스템 전체의 효율화 생산성 향상 측면을 고려하여 동력전달 기계기구를 설계하는데 필요한 실용 계산 방법을 소개하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, the performance analysis of the vehicle with the Ravigneaux type automatic transmission has been carried out using information of engine and drivetrain. It is necessary to understand the overall system including engine, torque converter, clutch, planetary gears, and road load. The equations of motion are derived from dynamic model. The GUI computer simulation program has been developed to analyze the powertrain performance of the vehicle with the Ravigneaux type automatic transmission.

  • 일반적으로 건설중장비에 쓰이는 주행용 감속기의 종류에는 차동유성기구(Differential Planetary Drive), 2단유성기구(Two Stage Planetary Drive), 3단유성기구(Three Stage Planetary Dnive)가 있으나 전체적인 감속기의 성능 및 특성에 대해서는 자세히 알려져 있지않아 주행시스템의 국내개발이 미흡한 상황에 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점의 1차적 해결책으로서 주행장치에 채용될 Heavy Duty용 유성기어 감속기를 차동유성기구 한개 모델과 2단유성기구 두개 모델을 시제품으로 제작하여 종류별로 동력전달효율과 감속기 내부 온도상승의 관점에서 그 성능을 비교 분석하여 각각의 특성을 제시하였다.

  • This paper describes an automatic design system for the parts that compose the power transmission. Power transmission is composed of shaft, gear, clutch, brake and housing. To design power transmission, there are many recurrent calculations and drawings needed with conventional design process. In this paper, we propose three dimensional automatic design system that reduce recurrent calculations and drawings. Developed system consists of two modules; 1) Design expert system module to assist determining design parameters of clutch, brake and gear. 2) Parametric modeling module to make three dimensional solid model automatically. The proposed system has been tested in the fields and found to be a useful system.

  • Gear trains are combined with the planetary gear units and helical gear units. It is known that the combination type is decisive to the system performances of the transmissions. In this paper, within the commonly used range of the design requirements for medium and large scaled (1~8 MW) wind turbines, the transmission characteristics of the typical layouts of the gear train are investigated. According to the international standard by ANSI/AGMA/AWEA 6006-A03, the gear boxes are basically designed and compared with respect to the system lifes of 99% reliability, total weight, the power densities, overall diameter/length and the maximum stresses of the gear teeth. With these comparison works, the characteristics of the layouts of gear trains are discussed.
