The efficiency of sewage treatment was ananlyzed selecting a sewage treatment plant in Gyeonggi-do where A₂O process was applied. Statistical techniques based on the operation data of the sewage treatment were used. The main factors directly affecting the efficiency of the treatment process were analyzed using a GPS-X model. The correlation analysis and one-way ANOVA were performed. The T-N and NH₄⁺-N values of the effluent did not generate statistically significant level (p-value:>0.05) when compared with C/N ration values. Removel of nitrogen components form sewage treatment plants were affected by temperature, HRT, SRT and DO. In the case of BOD, all operating factors were affected, while COD was affecte by factors of HRT, STR and DO. In simulations using GPS-X, the parameters that greatly influence was included the maximum sedimentation rate, the dependent nutrient microbial yield (anoxic), the phosphorus saturation coefficient, the dependent nutrient microbial killing rate, the dependent nutrient microbial maximum growth rate, and the independent trophic microorganisms. The maximum growth rate and the maximum setting rate were identified.

A lot of colleges have made continued efforts to help freshmen adapt themselves to a new school life and environment and build a decent relationship with faculty and other students. Therefore, this study attempted to figure out the effectiveness of team teaching(team teaching by academic advisor, standard textbook-centered guidance vs. autonomous mentoring) on strategic cultural curriculum as a way to help freshmen adapt themselves to a school life. For research subjects, 31 enrolled freshmen and 5 professors from a college in Chungbuk were selected. In terms of research tools, 'Communication Competence Assessment Sheet' provided by Strategic Cultural Curriculum Development Team and a simple questionnaire on 'curriculum satisfaction, adaptation to school and intimacy' were applied. For data analysis, paired t-test, independent samples t-test and rating scale were conducted. The study results found the followings: First, according to analysis on the effects of two different types of team teaching on the goal of strategic cultural curriculum('improvement of communication competence'), significant effects were found in a standard curriculum(textbook)-centered team. Second, when adaptation to a school life(school adaptation, intimacy) perceived by the students who completed the strategic cultural curriculum according to two different types of team teaching curriculum was analyzed, significant changes were found at standard textbook-centered guidance team. Third, this study has examined other changes, satisfaction, opinions and perception(strength, weakness, opinions for improvement) on the curriculum perceived by the students(learners) and faculty regarding about team teaching curriculum. Based on these results, educational implications of this study were reviewed. And a suggestion and limits were presented.

The purpose of this study is to compare the national quality regulation schemes among four countries, and to find out implications to Korean quality regulation system of social services. For this, this study fixed comparative criteria on national quality regulation schemes, and compared the quality regulation schemes of 4 countries such as England, United States, Singapore and Japan. By reviewing prior relevant studies, three criteria could be suggested.: the level of user centeredness, the effectiveness of regulatory enforcement and stability of operation system. All analysed nations share similarities in that they all eager to provide quality information to their service users and develop nationally acceptable quality standards of social services. On the contrary, differences are identified in the level of regulatory enforcement and establishment of independent body for national quality control. By these results, this study discussed the meaning of these findings and their implications on the development of Korean quality regulation system.

The current RFID middleware standard is ALE (Application Level Event) of EPCglobal that takes the lead in RFID standardization. ALE suggests the minimal interface and extension points so that it can be operated independently from system infrastructure, and actual implementation is left to vendors. But there is no specific mention with regard to functional extension through extension points, and It is very hard to extend or modify the function on running system. To solve this problem, we suggest AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming)-based ALE middleware framework for developing RFID middleware. In addition, we designed aspect for RFID middleware for implementing and extending functions according to ALE rules and for the convenience of maintenance.

This study investigated the situation of the Korea University and College libraries under the Japanese Occupation of Korea. Keijo Imperial University Library and Bosung College Library were subsidiary agencies and the other libraries were a section or a department. Keijo Commercial High College Library, Bosung College Library and Soongsil College Library had separate building, and the other college libraries shared a building with other sections or departments in the college. Keijo Imperial University Library had the largest staff and the other libraries had between one and four staff members.

Having been speedy development of the IT industry, devices such as set-top box and smart phone are used in the broad filed. Because Java has merits that are platform independency, security and mobility, that is important software platform to offer stable services in the small device. This needs JVM(Java Virtual Machine) to execute Java application in the small device. CVM(Classic Virtual Machine) which is the kind of JVM is designed for embedded device to have limited resources. In this paper, CVM which is defined by CDC has designed and implemented on the Real-Time Operating System, UbiFOS$^{TM}$.

In this paper, we propose the method of integrating the Book Lending Management System running either on local and web to develop Enterprise Application in distributed environment more easily and quickly using Sun's EJB based on the lava. We integrate the Book Lending Management System which is operated separately using EJB. And, by designing and implementing the Book Lending Management System separately according to its functions, it can reduce the cost of maintenance and repair. At all platforms where the Internet, Book Lending service is possible, because it provide Web based interface with JSP. Then, we can get platform independent implementation using EJB and JSP..

The purpose of this study is to suggest practical plans to improve the school library consulting, especially in case of a teacher librarian is not assigned. As a result of analyses, consulting through methods of the School Library Assistant Group lacks spontaneity, expertise, council, and independence. Besides, each office of education operates it as a marketing. A main goal of school consulting is to foster independent problem- solving of individual schools. Accordingly, it is necessary to build an union management system, develop a standard staff manual, construct DLS based on-line consulting, and design educational training programs of consultants for its successful consulting.

댐은 하천의 물을 조절하기 위해서 인공적으로 만들어진 하천구조물이다. 댐사용권은 공업화와 경제발전으로 통해 증가한 용수수요를 충족시키기 위하여 정부가 다목적댐을 건설함에 따라 추가적으로 확보되는 수량에 대한 소유권을 법적으로 인정하고 사고 팔수 있도록 하고 있다. 이는 최근 여러 가지 소모적인 물분쟁이 물분쟁의 원인이 되고 있다. 낙동강 권역의 댐들은 건설시기가 각기 다르며, 건설시의 댐계획량과 현재의 용수공급량은 기후변화와 수리환경 변화 및 용수수요의 증대로 인하여 차이를 나타내고 있다. 특히 상 하류에 건설된 댐과의 연계운영으로 이전 독립적으로 운영되었던 경우에 비해 용수공급능력이 변화할 수 있다. 그러나 이에 따른 댐의 용수공급능력을 재평가하기 위한 공식적인 방법이나 절차가 정립되어 있지 않아 댐 건설시의 계획량을 적용하고 있는 실정이다. 가용허가수량에 대한 재평가가 없이 수리권에 대한 갱신이 이루어질 경우 사용자 입장에서는 자신의 용수사용을 개선할 원인을 제공하지 못할 것이며, 임의적인 허가가 계속 부여될 경우, 갈수시 물공급의 안정성을 확보할 수 없게 될 것이다. 따라서 안정적인 용수의 공급을 위한 적절한 가용허가수량을 판단하는 것이 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실제 낙동강권역 댐의 여러 가지 여건을 고려하여 21세기 프론티어연구개발사업 "유역통합물수지분석 및 수자원계획기술 개발"에서 활용된 통합수자원평가계획 모형 K-WEAP에 적용하였다. 이를 통하여 낙동강권역 댐의 가용허가수량을 분석하고, 현재 산정되어 있는 댐의 가용허가수량과 비교 분석하였다.

본 연구에서는 국가수자원관리종합정보시스템(WAMIS), 물정보시스템, 통합홍수예보시스템에서 각각 독립적으로 사용되는 수문자료를 통합, 일원화하기 위한 방안을 연구하였다. 각 시스템의 데이터베이스는 수문자료 일부분 혹은 전체를 어느 한 시스템에서 다른 시스템으로 복사 및 이전하여 당시의 기관별 혹은 시스템별로 운영목적에 맞게 관리, 활용되어 왔는데 이들 데이터베이스에는 동일한 내용의 수문자료가 시스템별로 운영되고 있어 자료의 일치성과 관리의 일관성, 관련 시스템간의 연계성, 그리고 향후 정보의 확장성을 고려할 때 이들 개별 수문 데이터베이스 자료를 통합 및 일원화하고 관련된 응용시스템은 통합된 데이터베이스의 자료를 공유하는 형태로 구성할 필요성이 있었다. 그리하여 물관리정보 실무협의회에서 심의 확정된 물관리정보 표준을 기초로 하고 관계되는 물관련시스템과 공동활용 및 상호연계를 위해 국가수자원관리종합정보시스템과 물정보시스템, 통합홍수예보시스템의 수문자료를 통합 및 일원화하여 표준수문 DB 구조에 적용시킴으로써 자료의 일관성 및 확장성을 확보하고 물 관련 시스템과의 효율적인 연계 및 관리를 위한 수문종합정보 기반을 구축하고자 하였다.
