  • 새로운 대체 에너지원으로 주목받고 있는 풍력 에너지의 효율적인 이용을 위하여 기개발되어 운용중인 30kW급 수직-수평축 통합형 풍력발전시스템을 대상으로 낙도 지역 등에서 사용할 수 있는 독립형 전원장치를 설계하였다. 설계된 시스템은 무보수 밀패형 배터리와 자체 개발한 배터리 충전 제어 장치 및 교류 전원 출력용 인버터로 구성되며 장시간 바람이 불지 않는 경우에도 양질의 전원을 연속적으로 부하에 공급할 수 있도록 설계되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 태양전지-LED 시스템을 설계하여 부하 발전 배터리 용량을 산정하고, 상용 예비전력을 도입한 독립형 태양광발전시스템을 구현하였다. 또한, LED 조명부하에 대한 휘도 시뮬레이션 및 균일성 검사를 거친 후, 이를 태양광발전시스템과 함께 설치하였다. 태양전지-LED 시스템에 대하여 설계, 설치 및 운영에 관한 현장 시험을 통해 시스템의 신뢰성과 성능 및 제반 문제점을 확인하고, 태양광 에너지를 이용한 LED 표식장치의 다양한 응용을 위한 기초적 근거를 마련하였다.

  • In order to reduce the fossil fuels consumed in conventional commercial independent diesel generators in the same environment as the island area, it is necessary to develop a photovoltaic system that will bear more than 40% of the independent system capacity. For this development, it is necessary to develop a high-capacity inverter that can improve the stability of the independent system installed in the island area and supply high-quality power to the load. In addition, the EMS power generation control system for the independent grid photovoltaic power generation system is a parallel operation power control system of the diesel generator connected with the solar power generation system. It controls the output of the diesel generator according to the load ratio and the solar power generation, A stable supply system is needed. This independent grid photovoltaic generation system can increase the solar power supply to the independent system area and increase the power stability of the independent system and further reduce the use of fossil fuel due to the ineffective power control of the independent system. It is expected that the economy will be secured early.

  • 어휘독립 고립단어인식은 미리 훈련된 부단어(sub-word) 단위의 음향모델을 이용하여 수시로 변하는 인식대상어휘를 인식하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 소용량 음성 데이터베이스를 이용하여 어휘독립음성인식 시스템을 구성하였다. 소용량 음성 데이터베이스에서 미관측문맥 종속형 부단어에 대한 처리에 효과적인 백오프 기법을 이용한 음소 군집화 방법으로 문턱값을 변화시키며 인식실험을 수행하였다. 그리고 훈련용 데이터의 부족으로 인하여 문맥 종속형 부단어 모델이 훈련용 데이터베이스로 편중되는 문제를 deleted interpolation 방법을 이용하여 문맥 종속형 부단어 모델과 문맥 독립형 부단어 모델을 병합함으로써 해결하였다. 그 결과 음성인식의 성능이 향상되었다.

  • 어휘독립 음성인식이란 음향학적 모델 훈련에 사용하지 않은 어휘들을 인식하는 것이다. 단어모델을 이용한 어휘독립 음성인식 시스템은 발음표기로 변환된 인식대상어휘에 대하여 문맥 종속형 부단어(context dependent subword) 단위로 훈련된 모델을 연결하여 단어 모델을 만들고 이 단어 모델로 인식을 수행한다. 이러한 시스템의 경우 훈련과정에서 나타나지 않는 문맥 종속형 부단어가 인식대상어휘에서 나타나게 되고, 따라서 정확한 단어모델을 구성할 수 없다는 문제점이 있다 본 논문에서는 문맥 종속형 부단어 구분의 계층화를 통한 back-off 선택 방법을 이용하여 새롭게 나타난 문맥 종속형 부단어 대신 연결될 부단어 모델을 찾아내는 방법을 제안한다 제안된 선택 방법은 새롭게 나타난 문맥 종속형 부단어를 포함하는 상위의 부단어를 찾아내는 방법이다. 실험 결과 10단어 세트에서 $97.5\%$ 50단어 세트에서$90.16\%$ 100 단어 세트에서 $82.08\%$의 인식률을 얻었다.

  • This paper proposes a modeling method and operating algorithm of an islanding microgrid that is composed of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), wind turbine and diesel generator applied in island areas. Initially, the bilateral AC/DC converter was designed for charge/discharge for frequency and voltage to be maintained within the proper ranges according to the load and weather change, and the operating method was proposed for a diesel generator to operate when power supply from the wind turbine or BESS is insufficient. The proposed modeling and controller design method of BESS was applied to a typical islanded microgrid with a wind turbine and diesel generator. The frequency and voltage was kept within the permissible ranges and the proposed method was proven to be appropriate through simulations.

  • In view of global environmental problems and resource exhaustion, we must develop new energy resources that are abundant and provide substitutes for fossil fuels. Renewable energies, such as solar, are ideal because they are clean, inexhaustible, and available everywhere in the world. Photovoltaic(PV) system, in general, are operated as a stand-alone, grid-tied, or hybrid system. Many of the stand-alone PV systems are installed. Although the pre-installation cost of PV system is high, it poorly has been operated due to the absence of optimal management standards. Therefore a study on the performance of PV system is important for the system design and maintenance. In this paper a photovoltaic lighting system was resigned according to load consumption. Then a PV lighting system which used electrodeless lamp as a load was installed. In order to investigate the system operating characteristics we've added a monitoring system to the PV lighting system. The monitoring system using the LabVIEW program regularly checks the operation of the PV lighting system and records the system data. According to the system data, the stability and availability of the PV lighting system were evaluated.

  • 정상조건에서는 수명이 상당히 긴 두 개의 부품으로 구성된 병렬형 시스템의 수명검사를 수행하기 위해 고정충격 수명검사의 최적 검사계획에 관하여 고찰하였 다. 시스템을 구성하고 있는 부품의 수명이 서로 독립인 지수분포를 따르는 것으로 가정하여 각 가속조건에서의 부품들의 고장률의 최우추정량을 구하였다. 또한 각 가속조건에서의 부품들의 고장률에 관한 최우추정량의 점근분산의 합을 구하여 이를 최소가 되게 하는 최적 표본 할당비율을 결정하는 방법을 제안하였다.

  • If a fire breaks out in a building, occupants can evacuate more rapidly if they are able to identify the location of the fire, the exits, and themselves. This study derives the requirements of system development, such as distance non-limitation, a non-additional device, a non-centralized server system, and low power for an emergency, to identify information about the fire and the location of evacuees. The objective is to receive and transmit information and reduce the time and effort of the database for location tracking. Accordingly, this study develops a server-independent system that collects information related to a building fire and an evacuee's location and provides information to the evacuee on their mobile device. The system is composed of a transmitting unit to disseminate fire location information and a mobile device application to determine the locations of the fire and the evacuee. The developed system can contribute to reducing the damage to humans because evacuees can identify the location of the fire, exits, and themselves regardless of the impaired server system by fire, the interruption of power source, and the evacuee's location. Furthermore, this study proposes a theoretical basis for reducing the effort required for database construction of the k-nearest neighbor fingerprint.

  • Although the demand of Variable Message Sign(VMS) has become pervasive in fulfilling the ITS policy, there are still several unsolved problematic issues. The most critical ones of them are inequality and inefficiency of providing traffic information. This paper proposes the Infra-free Variable Message Sign in order to provide useful informations such as road condition, weather, and traffic of the area, where constructing the infrastructure of communication and power supply is relatively very hard. First of all, the characteristics of infra-free Variable Message Sign are studied and analyzed in deep because of differences between normal Variable Message Sign and Infra-free Variable Message Sign in the configuration and the operating method due to the nature of the Infra-free Variable Message Sign. Futhermore, for effective power management of operating Infra-free Variable Message Sign with limited power acquired through stand-alone PV system, new battery connection structure and dynamically variable power managements for the differently shown messages on Variable Message Sign are proposed. The proposed structure in this paper can be applied to not only power management for Infra-free Variable Message Sign but also power management for the various applications using parallel connection battery system.
