Modern ceramics art has various expression techniques. Among them, the digitization of modern society has led to the development of the transfer printing technique, and the technique of transfer printing has been utilized as medium of expression of modern ceramics. However, the transfer printing technique is merely uniform and does not give enough information to utilize the artistic expression of the craftsmen using the technique of decal rather than actively utilizing it in the field for mass production. Therefore. In this paper, we will examine the works of contemporary pottery artists who understand the meaning of the transfer printing technique and express the artist 's personality and artistry with transfer printing technique, so that the transfer printing technique can enhance the aesthetic and artistic effect of ceramic art as the expression medium of modern ceramics. We want to lay the foundations for a higher value-added industry.

It is said that ceramic arts which reflects the sprit of the age and culture is one of the representative cultural assets in Korea. Ceramic arts has the longest tradition and it has been used in our everyday life from a historical perspective. Unfortunately, most textbooks we use nowadays just show some art works for appreciation. It is impossible to teach unique techniques of ceramic arts with those textbooks. Traditional culture is not considered as a main part of educational contents but surrounding elements. Therefore it is hard for students to learn about our traditional culture deeply and it is also difficult to know the importance of the ceramic arts in secondary schools. Through the education of ceramic arts students can understand our traditional culture and they can also experience the formative arts by using plane and dimensional techniques. Teachers have to focus on historical background, types, functions, and sense of beauty of ceramic arts when they teach students in school. Students can use the knowledge in their daily lives. The education of ceramic arts encourage students to create new culture for ceramic arts.

This study is about the residential district structure of Gyeryong ceramic art village in Gyeryong ceramic art village is a residential district for potters who succeed to and develop Gyeryong ceramic art. The external appearance of Gyeryong ceramic art village seems like being fixed and simplified. The creative space is either detached or attached to a living room. The relation between inner and outer space is that is directly connected to a garden. In the characters of major spaces, the formation of a workshop is the most important part of a house. And, an exhibition equipment and an oven are connected to the workshop. According to the study, a house, which is designed without an architect's help is simple and has a different form from a house designed by an architect.
