플라스틱 유동해석 프로그램을 이용한 자동차 도어 핸들의 유동예측 (Plastic Flow Prediction of Automobile Door-Handle Using Injection Molding Simulation Programs)

  • Automobile door-handle is assembled with three parts that are base, skin and cover. Over-molding processing makes assembly of the base and skin. The skin part that was made by PVC polymer has various thickness. Plastic injection molding simulation of part including significant changed thickness as skin is an inaccuracy comparing with real injection molding. To solve this problem, two commercial flow prediction software that are Moldflow MPI and MAPS 3D were used in this study. Simulations were conducted for three types mesh. Taguchi method was applied for simulation experiments. It will be need to compare with simulation results and real over-molding behavior in the near future.

  • 일반 시민들이 많이 이용하는 지하철의 안전에 관심이 많으나 안전사고도 끊이지 않고 있다. 그 대책으로 스크린도어가 설치되었지만 스크린도어 사망사고 및 오작동 사례가 적지 않게 야기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 임베디드 시스템의 센서들을 이용하여 지하철 안전사고 예방을 위한 안전선 시스템을 설계 하였다. 초음파센서를 이용하여 사람이 접근함에 따라 LED 센서 및 부저 센서가 작동하여 상황의 위험성을 알려 안전사고를 예방하도록 설계하고 구현하였다.

  • In the present study, the wind pressure transients on platform screen door in island platform caused by a passing train are investigated numerically. The transient compressible 3-D full Navier-Stokes solution is obtained with actual operational condition of subway train and the moving mesh technique adopted for the train movement. To achieve more accurate results, detailed shape of train is included in a computational domain and the entrance and exit tunnel of platform are also modeled. Numerical analyses are conducted on three operational conditions of different velocity variation.

자동차 도어 힌지의 구조해석 (Structural Analysis on Door Hinge of Car)

  • The thickness of original hinge model is changed for structural stability in this study. The front end with the largest deformation of 9.8813 mm or the rear middle part with the largest equivalent stress of 6082.6 MPa is respectively shown at door hinge. The lower part of joint pin head with the largest deformation of 0.17499 mm and the largest equivalent stress of 1540.2 MPa are shown. The advanced model with more thickness and stability is shown to have smaller displacement in half and smaller equivalent stress by 3 times by comparing with the original model.

  • Currently, automotive industries improve the vehicle performance and reduce the development period of vehicle using each module part for the high quality and performance of vehicles. However each component part doesn't generate the noise and vibration problems, sometime these problems are generated on the assembly status between vehicle chassis frame and each module part. On this study, in order to analysis the dynamic characteristics of a shield door module that is a typical module part of vehicles, the acquisition and evaluation process about the vibration and noise of shield door module is developed. Also the possibility to apply to shield door module of the developed process is verified by the comparison with the dynamic characteristics between plastic and steel module plate.

2차원 모델을 이용한 도어 개폐력 해석 (Analysis of Door Effort using 2D Model)

  • Proper door effort, required force to open or close a vehicle door, is an essential door design factor for the safety of passengers and pedestrians. Section shape of the door checker arm is the most influential design parameter for achieving a door effort design target. In this research. an analysis procedure to predict door effort using a simplified plane strain finite element model wes investigated for two passenger cars, for which mechanism of checker systems were: different. The variation of checker arm force to be required during moving on arm in opening and closing direction was estimated through analysis, and the result was transformed to the door effort with respect to door opening angle by considering door characteristics. Also, the self·closing force due to door weight was theoretically calculated and added to the door effort from checker arm force. Finally the estimated results of door effort were compared with test results.

최적반력을 가지는 도어 씨일의 단면설계 (Design of Door Seal Section with Optimal Reaction Force)

  • In order to improve the function of a door seal, its section design technique is discussed in this study, Its roles are prevention of an inflow of dusts, noise interception, insulation, wateproof, and the vibroisolating action which reduces vibration between the body and the door of a car while running, and the buffer action which sustain the proper reacting force as the door is closed. In this study, the optimal cross section of a door seal is designed using nonlinear finite element analysis (commercial finete element analysis program EASi-SEAL) and tables of orthogonal arralys with respect to relations between door and door seal to secure the satisfactory airtight property with the minimum force to shut the door.

측면 충돌 법규화 동향과 해석 기술 (Side impact regulation trend and simulation technology)

  • 측면 충돌시 승객의 안전확보를 위한 미국 및 유럽의 법규 제정 과정과 배경을 살펴보고 이 두 법규를 비교하였다. 또한 이들 신 법규에 대응한 신차 개발을 위하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 같은 해석 기법을 이용시 개발 비용의 절감은 물론 개발기간도 단출할 수 있음을 보이고 미국 법규에 따른 해석 사례를 소개하였다. 정적 도어 구조 강성 해석의 경우 시험값과 평균적으로 10% 내의 오차를 보여주었다. 또한 동적 측면 충돌 해석 결과는 시험값과 비교하여 이동 대차 중심, 우측 B-필라하단 및 운전석 도어 중심에서의 Y-방향 속도의 경우 평균적으로 약 5% 차이를 보였으며 운전석 더미의 상해치는 골반 가속도의 경우 약 30%, 흉부 상해치의 경우 약 4%차이를 보여주었다. 이러한 해석 기술의 발달은 해석 결과와 시험결과 사이의 차이를 더욱 줄일 것으로 기대되며 이를 효과적으로 이용시 시작차의 제작비 및 시험비 절감 및 개발기간 단축을 가져와 자동차 설계분야의 국제경쟁력을 높이는 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

굽힘 강도 향상을 위한 프레스 도어 임팩트 빔의 단면 설계 (The Section Design of Press Door Impact Beam for Improving Bending Strength)

  • The door impact beam of the side-impacted vehicle plays a key role in securing occupant safety by preventing intrusion from the impacting vehicle. Despite the low production cost, the press door impact beam has been adopted sparingly because of the strength inferiority. In this study, the design technologies of the press beam aimed at improving bending strength were investigated. First, the effect of the section shape and size was examined. Next, thickness and material strength were increased. Also, the TRB beam application was simulated by varying combined thickness. Some TRB beams with reduced weight exhibited bending strength over the strength of the pipe beam. Then, the beam with a closed center section also showed remarkably enhanced maximum bending strength.
