Basic Factors for Quality Stability of Material Recycling Product Using Plastic Waste from Households (생활계 폐플라스틱 물질 재활용 제품의 품질안정화를 위한 기초 요인 검토)

  • In this paper, we tried to examine the composition ratio of plastic waste from households according to the generated city and the qualities according to the production time of material recycling products. As a result, the composition ratio of recyclable plastic waste among the total plastic waste according to the generated cities is 64.5~90.4%, showing a big difference by city. In addition, the quality evaluation of material recycling products by production time for four months showed that the average tensile strength was 12.33MPa, the average elongation rate was 5.94%, the average density was 1.35g/㎤ and the average ash content was 3.66%.

  • The cadastral administration is centered around cadastral maps. It is increasing that demand of the public for effective administration and higher quality of service through the development of application program of cadastral maps maintenance. Geo-Spatial Information System which is based on the graphic database of Yuseong-ku, Daejon City and the attribute database about cadastral information has been developed for effective maintenance and use in the part of map editing, public land price management and multi-parcel based work. In this pi-lot study, pointing out difficulties of database implementation and many experiences in the development of application program will be used effectively for further expansion of the automation of the cadastral administration.

  • 소음진동은 최근 사회적 인식이 변함에 따라 환경관련 민원 중에서 가장 많은 건수의 민원이 발생되는 요소로서 제저업체, 건설업체등의 기업 뿐만 아니라 국토개발, 도시개발을 담당하는 정부 기관 등에서 각종 업무를 수행하는데 중요한 고려대상이 되고 있다. 소음진동이 충분히 저감되지 않은 가전제품은 소비자들에게 외면당하고 민원이 발생된 건설 공사현장에서의 피해 보상금은 기업이 원가부담으로 작용되며 그 사업주체가 정부일 경우는 행정업무 처리에 지장을 초래하게 된다. 소음진동 문제를 해결하는데 가장 우선적으로 필요한 요소는 소음진동 허용기준을 적절히 산정하는 것이다. 소음진동은 발생원인이 매우 다양하며 소음진동에 노출되는 사람(혹은 건축물, 정밀기계 등)의 상대적인 위치(사회 문화적인)에 따라 피해 정도가 다르기 때문에 각국의 정부나 각종 사회단체, 기업은 독특한 국민성, 지역성, 사회개발 정도 등에 따라 적절한 허용기준을 제시하고 있다. 소음진동 문제를 해결해야 할 담당자들은 이러한 모든 여건을 고려하여 현재 상황에서 가장 적절한 허용기준을 설정하고 소음진동 저감 대책을 수립하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 설계자나 공장관리자, 건설 현장의 관리자들이 소음진동 문제에 직면 했을 때 신속히 적절한 허용기준을 산정한 후 소음진동 대책을 수립할 수 있도록 국내의 주요 소음진동 허용기준을 수립하여 데이타베이스화 하고 이를 PC통신으로 이용가능하게 하는 NVC-DS(Noise and Vibration Criteria-Database System)을 개발하였다.

  • Research on construction waste unit was in progress in the 1995 when 'Proper Disposal and Recycling Measures for Construction Waste' was made by the Seoul Development Institute. Such an effort has been made in order to cope with the lack of natural resources in Korea and to utilize the reusable resources. Furthermore, these efforts have also increased due to the improved standing of Korea in the international community. A large number of residential buildings were built in the response to the government's policy by increasing the supply of houses between the 1970's and 1980's. In 2000, more reconstruction and redevelopment was done because of the aged buildings and change of use for those buildings. And the project has been actively promoted until now, which caused a sharp increase in the generation volume of construction waste. In Korea, 8 kinds of construction waste unit, including the standard construction manpower and materials estimation, are introduced. Currently, they provide standards to different building categories and waste properties while for construction sites different standards are applied. This study aims to measure the actual amount of construction waste after sample buildings are dismantled and analyzes the estimation of the waste quantity by using various standard units. Through comparison, this study will figure out the differences among the standard units in order to find out how to apply the standard units properly. Moreover, this research will provide practical measures to apply such units to construction sites.

An Analysis on the Storage of Water Facilities in North Korea (북한 수리 시설물의 저수량 분석)

  • 우리가 알고 있는 북한 수리 시설물들의 용량은 대부분 일제 시기의 자료나 북한과 국제기구에서 발행하는 간행물에 근거하고 있다. 그러나 실제 발전용량 및 저수용량은 기존 자료와는 차이를 보이는 것으로 조사되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 북한 수리 시설물들의 저수량을 재산정하고, 이를 추후 각종 조사 및 분석에 활용하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 해당 지역의 위성자료와 DEM(Digital Elevation Model) 자료를 수집 및 활용하였다. 북한지역의 DEM은 격자 크기 $100m{\times}100m$로 분석하였다. 북한 수리 시설물의 저수량 파악을 위해 Global Mapper 프로그램을 이용하였으며, DEM과 위성자료를 입력해서 분석하였다. 선정된 수리 시설물에 대한 유역경계를 설정하고, 수면표고별 저수면적 및 저수량을 산정하였다. 이를 통해 Hypsometric Curve와 수면표고-저수면적-저수량 곡선을 작성하였으며, 해당 시설물의 저수량을 평가하였다. 이러한 방법으로 북한 금야강발전소의 저수량을 산정한 결과 약 19억7천만$m^3$으로 나타났다. 금야강발전소의 높이는 약 90m, 발전용량은 18만kW 정도이고, 우리나라 소양강댐의 높이가 123m, 발전용량이 20만kW일때 총 저수용량이 29억$m^3$인 점을 감안하면 적절한 산정결과인 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구의 성과는 추후 북한의 분석 가능한 수력발전소들의 실제 저수용량을 계산하며, 주요 지점별로 개발 가능한 저수량을 산정해서 각종 개발사업 계획 수립에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The Land Use Characteristics and Renewal of Urban Central District in Daegu (대구시 도심 토지이용 특성과 재개발)

  • This study on land use and regeneration of urban central district in Daegu investigates the current trend of those changes, and examines the change of urban core on land use, Since the 1980s, large cities in Korea have experienced the decline of spatial economic activities as well as population. Such urban decline has a relation with land use which can be classified with urban land use district and actual land use. This study tried to capture urban land use in three aspects; downtown business, residence, and the change of land use conversion. Based on land use characteristics, the size of residence land use has played a major role in hindering of the efficiency of land use. Also, this study has reviewed urban renewal projects in Daegu, especially urban core renewal projects, and discussed the problems of the projects.

Alberti's Theory of Architectural Design and Vitruvius (알베르티의 건축 설계론과 비트루비우스)

  • Alberti's De re aedificatoria is the earliest case in the history of Italian Renaissance architectural treatises dealing with recovery of antiquity through textual and archaeological pursuits. The key source of the Renaissance theoreticians was Vitruvius' De architectura. However, Alberti was keenly aware of inaccuracy and Hellenization of Latinity in this classical text, and tried to compensate them in his own treatise. Furthermore he claimed a reformed discipline of the architects as well as the patrons, and prescribed how future buildings and cities should be built, based on the proper authority of ancient architecture in proper and intelligible Latin. Such an adaptation of classical usage in order to reestablish a modern norm preceded in his earlier work Momus, a satire on the contemporary Italian society of his own by following the model of Lucian. Alberti's suggestion of proper government in Momus's phrase was expanded in De re aedificatoria, for he consider the buildings are subject to the rules of morality and public interests. He proclaimed that the nature of beauty is the reasoned harmony of every part within a body, and architectural beauty also lies on the harmonized arrangement of all the elements within an individual building and of all individual buildings and facilities within a city. For the architects to execute this task, he formulated the concept of lineanenta, the form derived from the mind in order to prescribe the proper place, numbers, scale, and orders for whole building structure. It is the future oriented city-plans and building designs to serve the public interest and the good of all the individual citizens who make up the City-State that Alberti pursued in his treatise.

  • A Special Building Zone, which could relieve or ignore part of the Building Act and the regulations in relevant laws, was practically established for the creation of new urban landscape, the improvement of construction technology, and the improvement of construction-related policy. However, due to the lack of understanding the Special Building Zone as well as the insufficiency of detailed standards in policies, the system currently cannot be operated in universal matters. In such circumstance, this study, which is based on the current data on the Special Building Zone defined in exiting law, attempts to analyze the multi-unit housing that has been planned by the system of Special Building Zone. Also, this study aims to derive the Special Building Zone's possibilities and implications that contribute to the improvement of landscape, so as to suggest solutions for effective improvement of the system. With the results above, solutions for the improvement of the system can be derived and summarized as the following. On the one hand, from 'planning perspective', it is necessary to improve the system in a comprehensive way with consideration of urban and local contexts. On the other hand, from 'procedure perspective', some foundation shall be prepared for a system that can allows comprehensive tasks, including the settlement of the zone, the alleviation/elimination of regulations, the approval of building's construction, the process of construction, and the monitoring.

Evaluation Factors for Exterior Space Planning from the Perspective of Each Major (전공별 관점에서 본 외부공간계획의 평가요소)

  • As the complexity and diversity of modern urban development increases, the importance of external space planning in urban development projects is growing. This study analyzes the importance and characteristics of each major to enhance the utility value of external space, which aims to improve the efficiency of external space planning and ultimately improve the quality of life of residents. To this end, we reviewed relevant literature, legal guidelines, checklists, and guidelines, and derived 17 external space indicators through expert surveys and FGIs, and organized them into five major categories: accessibility, connectivity, suitability, stability and locality, and landscape planning through FGIs with experts in architecture, urbanism, and landscape architecture. As a result of the analysis, urban planning and design majors prioritized planning that considers the hierarchy and characteristics of the landscape structure, securing public space through the connection of open spaces and pedestrian paths, and connecting organic and three-dimensional buildings, streets, and parks; architectural planning and design majors prioritized harmony with the surrounding environment, securing public space through the connection of open spaces and pedestrian paths, and connecting organic and three-dimensional buildings, streets, and parks; and landscape (environmental) and landscape majors prioritized harmony with the surrounding environment, connecting with adjacent buildings, streets, parks, and green spaces, and planning with integrated landholdings. This emphasizes that urban development projects should secure publicness and integration through harmonious connections with adjacent buildings, streets, parks, and green spaces. This study developed evaluation indicators for evaluating the external space planning of urban development projects and quantified them through the hierarchical analysis method (AHP), which will be useful for future policy formulation and practical application in the fields of urban planning and design, architectural planning and design, landscape (environment), and landscape architecture.

3-Dimensional Terrain Model of Ruins Distribution Using GIS (GIS를 이용한 유적분포 3차원 지형모델)

  • Recently, as a part of NGIS project, cultural-assets digital map is produced by cultural properties administration and local autonomous entities. Cultural-assets unified GIS(Geographic Information System) is essential to cultural properties managers md other organizations which are executing land related business for appling it at planning stage. With explosive national land developments, it has been obligated to implement surface survey by the cultural properties protection Art. In this paper, the authors used the district of Sachon city and made 3D terrain model using digital map which is made of 1/5000 stale. Moreover, the authors improved to RDBMS(Relational Database Management System) structure and remodeled the existing DB design in detail, and also tried recovery of past sea level, based on researches about the water level of southern area. By recover past sea level. the shell mound, apart from lever is actually near lever at past, and it make sure its nature. The authors suggested to realize shape and kind of remains which have 3D information of accuracy and actualization from surface-surveying to excavation.
