  • 현재 각 도시철도 운영기관이 사용하고 있는 부품코드체계는 구 정부물품 분류체계 11자리를 수요한 코드체계로의 군, 급의 2단계 분류로 구성되어 있어, 분류단계의 제약이 존재할 뿐만 아니라 분류체계의 구조적 문제로 군, 급, 품명의 빈번한 통합, 삭제에 따른 코드 관리의 어려움이 존재하고 있다. 또한, 사용자가 원하는 물품을 해당 분류체계로 찾아가기 위한 그룹별 탐색과 통계적 분석이 불가능한 실정이다. 이러한 분류체계의 문제점과 향후 차종의 노후화로 발생될 관리품목의 증가로 업무능률 저하가 예상되기 때문에 새로운 체계의 표준화된 부품코드체계가 절실히 필요한 실정이다. 본 논문은 산업 발전에 따르는 확장성과 세분화에 대한 분류구조의 탄력성을 가지고 객관적으로 분류 추가 및 변경이 가능하도록 하고, 정부 및 국제기관 표준권고안과 호환성을 가질 수 있는 표준 부품코드체계를 제정하기 위한 연구결과이다.

  • Though the air-conditioners in each train model have almost identical function, there is incompatibility between them because of their different electric capacity and parts, even spares manufactures are different in the manufactured year. It cause over cost in the maintenance and repair of the each air-conditioner. In this paper, all the air-conditioners in each train model have been classified by their capacity and features so that grasp the operation status and the repair process of the air-conditioners, and draft systematically cost-effective solutions. By finding a way to deal with the emergency repair and extending the air-conditioner life though improvement of checking up progress, increase of passenger revenue can be reached considerably.

  • The door systems in urban railway vehicles, through heavy maintenance checks by six years, 75 parts for 34 part types in 75 units have to be replaced periodically, and the remaining 68 parts for 40 part types to be replaced occasionally based on the necessity. Even though this process makes the door systems almost to be initial status, the systems have complicated mixes of components with new parts and used and then have different property from the original ones. This study suggested a burn-in test as a subsidiary tool to improve the reliability of urban railway vehicles, and suitable for testing conditions and the proposed new target value.

  • Failure code system must include data of maintenance history, classification of failure, affective range and situation when failure occur. But the present failure code system have used a simple code system for classification to include only merchandise and tools. Advantageously, expansional standard code system that will be developed, it make that users can take steps of standardized overhaul and inspection as proposal maintain contents when failure occur or something wrong in vehicle of urban transit. Standardized failure codes must be developed and used that manufacturing companies and urban transit operating companies in order to give effect to maintenance works.

  • As a modem urban train is getting complex in terms of high-technology in its systems and components, the failure management should be performed with scientific and systematic technique. FMEA is a technique to analyze the failure trends of component parts and influences to the higher level system in order to discover the design incompleteness and potential defects, which is for improving reliability. Especially, FMECA (Failure Mode Effects, and Criticality Analysis) is used in case that the criticality that has an immense influence to the system is important. In case of urban train, in its design and manufacturing steps, FMEA is frequently used as an analysis technique to meet the safety objectives and eliminate potential hazards/failures since the concepts of reliability of train is introduced these days. Though, FMEA technique in the maintenances steps lacks in its investigation and applications yet. FMEA is also not applied to the trains operated by Seoul metro in the design and manufacture steps excepts the newest trains. In this paper, through analyzing the failures/maintenance data of the belt-type door systems used in trains operated in Seoul metro Line 1, which is accumulated in RIMS (Rolling-stock Information Maintenance System), FMEA procedures to the belt-type door engines are proposed. Especially, an effort is made, to approach the detailed FMECA procedures to the door magnet valve and switch and door engine devices which vastly influences the customer safety and satisfaction.

  • To supply the materials the right time, and the right place, it is required some information maintenance system to manage this procedure effectively. In this paper, we represent the standard products classification for EMU and the materials maintenance information system to manage the parts used EMU maintenance efficiently. The standard material classification is matched to G2B code made by the Supply Administration. The implemented material information system can perform various functions such as the inquiry of the number of stocks, the demand of the materials, and etc.

  • The urban transit vehicles has very complicated structures composed electric and mechanical parts and systems. Its system is important to insure operating stability pursuant to massive transfer. Also, its system takes a lot of maintenance cost than constructing cost due to its system which has longtime life cycle. Generally it is know that maintenance cost affect a lot on total cost because its life cycle cost takes a part more than 60~70%. For these reason, it is really important to reduce its maintenance cost through efficiently operation and maintenance management system construction.

  • Many kinds of rolling-stocks that have various control methods are being operated by Seoulmetro which is a history of a city railroad rolling-stock. Seoulmetro is being faced with a wheel management comparing of other lines with a perpendicular wear of wheel and a side damage, and so on, by operating several cars at a loop line. This is causing maintenance expenses increase and deteriorating a fusibility of rolling-stock, for it has an effect on a rolling-stock using. A cutting pattern of wheel and a wear form affect the expected span of a wheel. A wheel cutting cause is classifed into cutting for reprofiling of a flange wear of wheel and for removing every kind defect which originates from wheel wear. In this study, Seoulmetro exhibit a stable rolling-stock use method and a reasonable management method of wheel, analysing wheel exchange condition and cutting management of wheel.

  • Since the most part of maintenance work for EMU depends on the worker's know-how, the quality of maintenance is different according to the worker's skill and experience. Especially EMU is composed of the various parts such as electrics, electronics, communication, signal, and machinery, etc., and performs its function by their organic work. Therefore it is very difficult to improve the quality of maintenance for EMU. In this paper we purpose how to change the know-how-based maintenance method to knowledge-based maintenance method. Consequently we can ensure the quality of maintenance for EMU, and improve the quality by continuous maintaining the knowledge.
