  • 본 논문에서는 한방병원에서 사상체질분류검사설문지를 이용하여 사상체질을 진단할 때 진단의 정확도를 향상시키기 위한 사상체질분류함수를 개발하기 위하여 데이터마이닝에서의 판별분석모형을 이용한다. 데이터 정제 과정에서 양질의 데이터를 확보하기 위한 기준은 상반되는 설문의 응답 패턴과 체질별 설문의 응답 비율을 이용하며, 변수선택의 기준은 도수분석의 비율차이검정과 선형판별함수의 계수를 이용한다.

A Study on Dosu Theory in Daesoon Thought (대순사상의 도수론(度數論) 연구)

  • In the scripture of Daesoon Jinrihoe, the expression 'Dosu (度數)' is frequently used and Jeungsan, Jeongsan, and Wudang also left behind many teachings related to Dosu. In this paper, the concept of Dosu is analyzed in detail and the achievement of an in-depth understanding of the concept of Dosu is attempted. The term Dosu is often used in traditional literature. In the classics, Dosu was used to mean institutions, standards, rules, law, figures, and the laws of heavenly bodies. In other words, Dosu is used to mean the laws of astronomy and the norms of human society. This meaning is expanded and used as the principle of the universe and nature. This concept of Dosu is related to the mathematical cosmological understanding of numbers as the principle of the universe. This type of mathematical cosmology was systematized by Shao Yong (邵雍). In the Joseon Dynasty, Seo Gyungduk (徐敬德) accepted it positively, and it thereby became an influential trend in Korean thought. In the world view of Daesoon thought, there exists the view that numbers as a principle of the universe, and of course this world view is connected to mathematical cosmology. In Daesoon thought, the concept of Dosu is based on the concept of traditional Dosu and adds an additional meaning which connects it to the Reordering of the Universe (Cheonjigongsa). Also, Dosu is used to mean the process of changing the principles and laws of cosmos through Jeungsan's Reordering of the Universe. It is especially the case that discourse about Dosu is widely used when describing the Reordering of the Universe. Jeungsan corrected, reorganized, and adjusted Dosu, as well as establishing new Dosu. Jeongsan, who succeeded Jeungsan, followed the Reordering of the Universe by Jeungsan, and also realized Dosu. In other words, Jeongsan acted and practiced according to the Dosu that had been enacted by Jeungsan. Also, Dosu means the process of the transformation of principle according to the Reordering of the Universe, and Wudang used the concept of Dosu to describe the historical process of Daesoon Jinrihoe. This means that the foundation of Mugeukdo, the change to Taegukdo, the establishment of Daesoon Jinrihoe, and the contruction of Yeoju headquarters are episodes in a divine history carried out through Dosu. Through this discourse, Daesoon Jinrihoe asserts a legitimacy that distinguishes itself from other sects, and believers can be inspired by the sacred meaning that they are participating in the Dosu of heaven and earth. This empowers their devotion and sincerity.

The Concept of Degree Numbers in the Thought of Jeungsan and Jeongsan (증산과 정산의 도수(度數)사상)

  • The term, Degree Number, was religiously re-interpreted by Jeungsan (甑山) Kang Il-Sun (姜一淳, 1871~1909) and used by him to imply 'the principle of ruling the world.' It was especially the case that his usage of Degree Number referred to the new law that will rule during the Later World, and the significance of this was promoted during Jeungsan's Reordering Works of Heaven and Earth. And Jeongsan (鼎山) Jo Cheol-Je (趙哲濟, 1895~1958), who received a revelation from Jeungsan, established new religious movements including Mugeuk-do and Taegeuk-do and gave a broader meaning to the term Degree Number which he adopted from Jeungsan. He endowed it with the additional meaning of 'all the religious activities performed to achieve an ideal world.' In the history of Korean religions, Degree Number was newly interpreted by the religiously-gifted Jeungsan, who appeared at the end of the Joseon Dynasty. The lineage of religious thought related to Degree Numbers was constantly transmitted through Mugeuk-do and Taegeuk-do both of which were founded by Jeongsan Jo Cheol-Je. Later, Park Han-Gyeong (朴漢慶, 1917~1996) succeeded this lineage when he established Daesoon Jinrihoe in 1969. Religious thought related to Degree Numbers came from Jeungsan's self-realization that he was 'Sangje (the Supreme God).' The thought was also formed by his religious declaration wherein he changed the Degree Number of mutual contention in the Former World to that of mutual beneficence in the Later World. What Jeungsan emphasized was the fluidity of Degree Numbers. Just like human beings are never able to escape from the bonds of their destiny, in Jeungsan's thought, forced or ordained cosmic orders do not exist. In the outworn world of the past, which has been defined as the Former World, the Degree Number was recognized as the ordained law and norm, but as the Later World was coming, Jeungsan recalibrated the Degree Number and defined it anew through his own authority and power as the Supreme God. Jeongsan recalibrated many Degree Numbers throughout his life. The number of Degree Numbers which Jeungsan recalibrated is relatively fewer than that of Jeongsan, who inherited the thought of Jeungsan, and then went on to categorize almost every major religious activity he performed a Degree Number. In this context, Jeungsan's 'Degree Number' became expanded and broadened in terms of its scope.

Effect of Spinal Stabilization Exercise and Manual Therapy on Visual Analogue Scale and Oswestry Disability Index in Acute or Subacute Patients with Low Back Pain (척추안정화운동과 도수치료가 급성기 또는 아급성기 허리통증 환자의 통증지수와 오스웨스트리 장애지수에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate effect of type of physical therapy (spinal stabilization exercise and manual therapy) on pain index and disability index in acute and subacute patients with low back pain (LBP). 23 patients with LBP participated and were randomly assigned. Manual therapy and spinal stabilization exercise was applied for 15-minute sessions occurred 3 sessions a week, for 4 weeks. All subjects received conservative therapy for 30-minute. Visual analogue scale (VAS) and Korean version of Oswestry disability index (ODI-K) were measured before and after treatment. There was significant difference in VAS and ODI-K between before and after both treatment (p<.05). There was significant difference in change rate of VAS between manual therapy and spinal sabilization exercise (p<.05), but not in change rate of ODI-K (p>.05). Thus, it is suggested that spinal stabilization exercise is helpful to reduce pain safely in acute and subacute patients with LBP.

  • 최근 지구온난화, 엘리뇨 및 라니냐 등 지구환경 변화에 따른 기후변화의 영향으로 짧은 시간에 매우 높은 강도를 가진 이상호우에 의해 많은 인명과 재산피해가 발생하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우에도 1990년대 후반부터 과거와 달리 국지적 집중호우가 빈번히 발생하고 있으며 집중호우에 의한 홍수는 우리나라의 가장 빈번한 자연재해 중 하나가 되었다. 이러한 성격의 홍수는 소유역 규모의 좁은 지역과 급경사지역에서 짧은 지속시간과 집중적인 강우강도에 의해 발생하고, 빠른 유속과 토사를 동반하는 빠른 수문반응으로 홍수에 대비할 시간이 부족한 것이 특징이기 때문에 기존의 홍수예보모형을 이용하여 발생홍수의 특성을 예측하기에는 많은 어려움이 있다. 유출수문곡선의 특성을 분석하여 홍수의 특성을 분석하는 연구는 Kyiamah (1996)가 유출수문곡선의 기초적인 상승곡선, 지체시간, 첨두홍수량을 이용하여 돌발홍수사상에 대한 크기를 산정하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 Bhaskar 등 (2000)은 유출수문곡선의 상승부 기울기, 첨두 홍수량비, 홍수 반응시간을 이용하여 돌발홍수지수(Flash Flood Index)를 산정하고 이 지수에 의해 돌발홍수를 설명하고자 하였다. 국내에서는 정재철 (2000)이 보청천을 대상으로 단 몇 개의 사상만을 대상으로 Bhaskar 등 (2000)이 제시한 돌발홍수지수를 적용한 바가 있다. 그러나, 이들 연구에서는 소수의 수문사상만을 이용하였기 때문에 상대심도를 산정하는데 있어 문제가 있으며 상대심도를 산정하는데 있어 각 심도계수들의 임의적인 도수분포를 이용하였기 때문에 매우 주관적이라고 할 수 있다. 김병식 등 (2008)은 한강유역의 과거 101개의 홍수사상에 대해 돌발홍수의 상대심도를 파악하기 위하여 돌발홍수지수를 산정하고 2006년 7월의 집중호우에 의해 발행한 홍수사상의 돌발홍수 심도를 시간 및 공간적으로 정량화하였다. 이러한 기존의 연구는 홍수심도 산정시에 필요한 유출수문곡선을 실측된 자료를 이용하여 산정하였으나 국내의 소유역의 경우 실측된 유출수문곡선 자료가 그다지 많지 않은 관계로 인해 홍수심도를 산정하는데 많은 어려움을 내포하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미계측 소유역중 시범유역을 선정하고 30년 이상 장기간 실측 강우의 기왕최대 시강우량 자료에 대하여 강우-유출모형을 통한 홍수유출수문곡선을 모의한 후, 빈도별 확률강우량에 대한 수문곡선 특성인자들의 비를 무차원 지수화하여 극한홍수사상에 대한 설계강우의 취약성을 평가하기 위한 홍수위험지수 (Flood Hazard Index) 산정방법을 제시하였다.

Numerical Analysis of Flow and Bed Changes for Selecting Optimized Section of Buried Water Pipeline Crossing the River (하천을 횡단하는 도수관로의 최적 매설구간 선정을 위한 흐름 및 하상변동 수치모의)

  • A water pipeline buried under the riverbed could be exposed by bed erosion, therefore safe crossing sections should be analyzed for preventing damages due to the exposure of pipelines. In this study, flow and bed changes have been simulated using a two-dimensional numerical model for selecting the optimized section of pipeline crossing in the Geum River. As a result of simulation with the 20-year recurrence flood, sediment deposition has been distributed overall in the channel and bed erosion over 2 m has occurred near bridge piers. For the extreme flood simulation, the channel bed near the bridge piers has been eroded down to the buried depth. Therefore, within 140 m upstream of the bridge piers, bed erosion affects a buried pipeline in safety due to bridge pier effects and the crossing section over 150 m upstream of bridge piers is selected as a safe zone of a water pipeline.

Water Supply and Reliability Increment by Dams Connection (댐간 연결을 통한 공급량 증대 및 신뢰도 향상)

  • 대부분의 유역에는 다수의 댐이 건설되어 운영되고 있는 것이 일반적이며, 이들 댐 군의 효과를 극대화하기 위하여 연계최적운영 기법의 적용이 일반화 되고 있다. 2000년 수립된 국가장기수 자원계획에서도 이미 4대강 수계의 댐 군의 연계운영 효과로 2011년까지 6억 $m^3$를 반영하고 있다. 또한 프론티어 연구개발사업을 통해 순수한 시스템적인 개선으로 30억 $m^3$의 용수를 추가적으로 확보하는 방안이 오래전부터 진행되어 오고 있다. 이와 같은 방법론의 핵심은 수문기상의 예측정도를 높이고 장단기 강우-유출을 사전 혹은 실시간으로 예측하여 수자원시설물의 기능을 최대화시키는 전략으로 현재와 같이 댐과 같은 수리구조물을 신규로 건설하는데 어려움이 많은 경우 유용한 대안이 될 수 있다. 그러나 수리구조물의 운영에 필요한 많은 변수 중에서 가장 예측이 어려우며 또한 효과를 평가할 수 있는 가장 핵심적인 요소인 수문사상에 대한 정보의 신뢰도에는 한계가 있다. 다시 말하면 현재와 같은 상황에서 수자원시설물의 시스템적인 개선을 통한 편익의 신뢰도가 구조물적인 효과의 신뢰도를 보장하기 어렵다는 것이다. 결국 주어진 여건에서 수자원이용의 효과를 극대화시키기 위해서는 구조적 대안과 시스템적인 기법을 같이 적용할 수밖에 없으며 상호 보완적으로 활용하는 것이 가장 합리적일 것이다. 이와 같은 측면에서 구조적인 댐간 연결은 일정범위까지는 확실한 효과를 담보할 수 있으며 이 또한 시스템적으로도 유용할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 개념을 안동댐과 임하댐이 도수터널로 연결될 경우로 가정하여 예상되는 효과에 대하여 평가하였다. 평가방법은 일간연계모의모형과 일간도수연결모의모형을 개발하여 적용하였으며 무효방류량의 감소정도와 용수공급 증가량과 공급의 신뢰도, 부족량의 크기 등을 비교 평가하였다.

  • 제주도는 수자원의 98% 이상을 지하수에 의존하기 때문에 기후변화에 따른 수자원 영향에 대해 지속적인 관심과 연구가 필요한 지역이다. 향후 예상되는 극치사상의 증가와 수자원의 시공간적 불균형은 더욱 취약성을 증가시킬 것으로 보이며, 안정적인 수자원의 공급 및 확보를 위해서는 장기적이고 효율적인 수자원계획이 요구되지만 기후변화로 인해 변동성이 커지게 된다면 수자원확보에 대한 불확실성도 더욱 커질 것으로 예측하고 있다. 2100년까지 미래 유출량의 변화를 비교하기 위하여 현재의 유출량 보정에 적용되었던 매개변수를 그대로 적용하였다. 미래의 직접유출율은 28%, 현재의 평균 직접유출율(23%)에 비해 약 22% 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 직접유출의 증가에 가장 큰 영향으로 미래로 갈수록 극치값이 현재보다 자주 발생할 것으로 전망되었다.

Effect of kinesio taping on ankle strength, movement and function in patients with common peroneal nerve paralysis (키네지오 테이핑이 온종아리신경 마비를 가진 환자의 발목관절의 근력, 움직임 및 기능에 미치는 영향)

  • The effect of kinesio taping in patients with common peroneal nerve paralysis (PNP) have not been investigated. This purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of kinesio taping on patients with common PNP. Ten subjects who had common PNP were included in this study. Kinesio taping was applied to the ankle joint (direction of dorsiflexion and eversion). The measurements were by manual muscle test (MMT; tibialis anterior, peroneus longus), active ROM (ankle dorsiflexion, eversion), pain (visual analogue scale (VAS), pressure pain threshold (PPT)), and balance (one leg standing). Subjects were assessed at baseline and 8 weeks of intervention. In the results, all subjects showed improvements in MMT, active ROM, Pain and balance at the 8-week. These findings are considered to be effective in applying kinesio taping on ankle joint in common PNP patients.

Kings Yao and Shun as Understood in Daesoon Thought (대순사상의 요순관)

  • These days, the world finds itself in a time when 21st century human and societal practices can benefit from alternative viable models; as such models are desperately needed. Daesoon Jinrihoe seeks to show one model inspired by the historical kings, Yao and Shun. In Daesoon Jinrihoe, King Yao and King Shun (堯舜 yo sun) are recollected and projected into modern times. This paper is a study that examines what aspects of Daesoon Thought go into understanding Kings Yao and Shun and what insights their example can provide for modern people today. In Daesoon Thought, the 'Dao of Kings Yao and Shun' has appeared again because the 'Era of the Great Opening (開闢時代 gaebyeok shidae)' has arrived, and this era is characterized by 'Seeking Out the Beginning and Returning to the Original Root (原始返本 wonshi banbon).' This is not simply a return to ancient times. The seeds that fall on the ground grow up to overcome winds and rains, bring forth new fruits in the autumn, and their fruits contain the original seeds. The seeds are simultaneously the original seeds, but not the seeds themselves. Rather, they are complete bodies condensed and infused with abundant experience gained after multitudinous trials. In Daesoon Thought, Kings Yao and Shun are analyzed from the following four perspectives: first, as an ideal human image that combines the qualities of Sages and Heroes (聖雄 seong oong), second, as the historical background behind the truth of the 'Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence (解冤相生),' third, as an ancient model of the ideal world, and fourth, as Daesoon Jinrihoe's 'Mind Dharma (心法)' and also as the classical basis for the 'Cultivation of Dao (修道).' However, the meaning of Kings Yao and Shun in Daesoon Thought is not limited to traditional philosophical thought but also contains certain crucial differences. In Daesoon Thought, the qualities of sages and heroes are combined in a way that does not compromise or penalize, but in accordance with the rule of law and beyond, the ideal world is understood as a world in which there are no natural disasters and everyone enjoys beauty and splendor. Mind Dharma means the spiritual cultivation of the 'Dao of Mutual Beneficence' as presented by Sangje (上帝 the Supreme God) through sincerity, respectfulness, and faithfulness (誠敬信 seong, gyeong, shin). In addition, through the core truth of Daesoon Thought, the Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence, the resolution of the grudges associated with Kings Yao and Shun will likewise eliminate the root-grudge plaguing humanity and divine beings. In this paper, I intend to deepen my understanding of Daesoon Thought through a study on our theology's understanding of Kings Yao and Shun, and I also wish to redefine the value of Daesoon Thought through the symbolization and reinterpretation of ancient historical figures.
