The purpose of this study is to investigate and understand changes experienced by participants in group bibliotherapy. For this purpose, individual interviews were conducted with 14 adults who were chosen by the best bibliotherapists through peer nomination and the results were analyzed by grounded theory, which is one sort of qualitative research method. This study has a significant meaning to provide a foundation of understanding of group bibliotherapy by exploring participants' experiences in depth through grounded theory approach and revealing the changes experienced and process of group bibliotherapy.

본 연구는 영문으로 발표된 문헌고찰을 통해 한국의 청소년 자살행동의 예측요인을 종합적으로 이해하고 이과 관련된 정책과 중재프로그램의 동향을 파악하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이 연구의 목적은 나아가 한국 청소년 자살을 감소시키고 억제하는데 필요한 효과적인 중재방안의 개발에 근거자료로 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구는 주제어 검색을 통해 4대 사회과학 검색엔진을 활용하여 문헌검색을 하였고 Citation Pearl Growing 기법을 적용하여 영문으로 발표된 학술지 게재 논문을 선별하였는데 추가적으로 국회도서관 전자 데이터베이스를 이용하여 최근 청소년 자살에 관한 대표적인 2개의 보고서를 찾아 고찰하였다. 본 문헌고찰은 청소년 자살예방 중재 프로그램 뿐만 아니라 청소년 자살행동에 영향을 주는 요인을 거시적, 미시적 차원으로 논하였다. 청소년 자살행동에 기여하는 거시적 또는 사회적 요인은 국가 경제수준, 대학입시에 대한 학업성취도 스트레스, 그리고 매체 및 인터넷 문화였다. 개인적 또는 미시적 위험요인은 6개의 영역으로 나누어 설명되었다. 일반적 특성, 가족 특성, 학교 환경, 약물 사용, 정신적 장애, 성적 정체성이었다 이 6개 영역의 위험요인들이 서로 조합되면서 청소년에게 자살 의도나 시도가 일어나도록 하는 경향이 높았으며 이중 청소년 자살 예방에 우선적인 3대 요소는 자아정체성 확립, 정신건강 중재서비스의 제공, 거시적 예방 정책의 구조화로 분석되었다. 종합적으로 학교는 정규학교교육과정과 학생 검사를 통해서 일반적인 정신건강교육을 실시하고 위험학생을 선별 하는데 핵심적인 장이다. 따라서 학교를 경유한 위험학생 선별사업과 이에 따른 교육 및 중재 프로그램의 지원이 활성화되는 것이 필요하다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of a new bibliotherapy program on the happiness index of University students. The results were as follows: Firstly, we can raise the happiness index through the new bibliotherapy program. More specifically, we can reduce negative emotions to a great extent, and raising the level of satisfaction with life is effective. But increasing positive emotions is not easy. Secondly, Effect of bibliotherapy program on the factors of Happiness is different by various situations. Thirdly, reaction of participants of bibliotherapy program to religeous and spiritual media is different.

The purposes of this research are to search and analyze information theories which are useful to approach bibliotherapy in terms of 'therapeutic' readers' advisory service, and to propose a conceptual model of 'therapeutic' readers' advisory service on the basis of such theoretical foundations. To the end, Dervin's sense-making theory and Kuhlthau's ISP model are introduced and applied to the conceptual model. The conceptual model is profoundly based on Dervin's situation-gap-use metaphor and Kuhlthau's Uncertainty Principle.

This study aims to analyzed the treatment factors in the reading activities in order to examine the possibility for such factors to applied to the actual life of the meddle-aged, and sought for the utilization and direction of the reading program that is presented as the treatment and prevention of the emotional problems of the meddle-aged people. Considering such circumstances, involving in reading activities improves the quality of the meddle-aged people's life by meeting their internal desire by themselves and giving the meaning to their life with creativity. In addition, the reading activities helps the meddle-aged people to express in-depth conflicts, emotion, desire and thinking that they are routinely experiencing, thus leading to the treatment of their agony, trauma, and pain. In such sense, it is very meaningful for the middle-aged to be joined in any reading activities.

Library and information science(LIS) research, as reflected in its own disciplinary and professional history, has been ignorant of the transitions and developments of other humanities and social science disciplines. For instance, the positivistic perspectives in research have been maintained in the field while other disciplines have been experimenting wide variety of research methods and aspects. This paper attempts to articulate that LIS research should play an appropriate role in analyzing and investigating various key-words in modern knowledge society. In this regard it scrutinizes the applicability and implications of discourse analysis. It specifically surveys the historical background of the development of LIS research; then it explains the dimensions of discourse analysis and some principles; and, finally it shows some examples of research projects that emp1oy these perspectives.

This study addresses two aspects related to knowledge management systems. First, it introduces knowledge management systems for broadcasting stations to develop a specific model. Second it introduces the team-based approach as a methodology for designing and developing knowledge management systems. Beginning with a discussion on the concept of knowledge management, this paper examines the characteristics, current situations and evolved paradigms of broadcasting stations. In addition 6 web sites of broadcasting stations are analyzed. The team-based approach is also presented in some detail on how it can be applied to other organizations. Results of this study show a knowledge management system with five subsystems for broadcasting stations.

This article deals with a sensitive issue on intella-tual freedom in Korean society. In details, the authors introduce the current laws Inhibiting Sree flows of information in korean society, and analyze the fundamental problems including in such laws or sections of tllc laws with various examples. Nso introduced are various efforts by the legal circle and NGOs for the improvement of the current situation, with an analysis of the limitatio and problems in such efforts. Finally, the authors suggest the 'desirable' strategies and methods for correcting or abolishmg the current 'controversial' laws which are serious barriers against free information flows, particularly emphasizing the responsibility of librarians who have to be gatekeepers of knowledge and infonnation in a svcalled information society.

In modem day Korea, the amount of records containing data, statistic etc are increasing dramatically. However, our country neglects to deal with these archives which include fields such as culture. Thus government documents, even modem documents less than 50 years old, are fading. becoming damaged and acidic. The purpose of this study is to research factors for prolongment the life of archival records, especially papers. Firstly, we want to maintain the document's original quality, which is a PH between 7 to 8.5, permanently. Secondly, our objective is to permanently maintain the records in a scientific environment. Thirdly, to execute proper repair methods by conservators. Permanent quality refers to the maintenance of a PH between 7 and 8.5 in a scientific environment whereby regulations are in effect to control the environment. These factors include constant temperature and humidity, breakors of various lights, Stable storage facilities which are fire resistent. A CCV control system as well as the dusting and fumigation of records. Finally, to conservate damaged papers based on exact diagnosis.

The proliferating use of e-journals has led increasing interest in collecting and analyzing usage statistic information. However, the existing manual method and simple journal usage reports provided by publishers hinder the effective collection of large-scale usage statistics and the comprehensive/in-depth analysis on them. Thus we have proposed a hybrid automatic method of collecting e-journal usage statistics based on screen scraping and SUSHI protocol. In addition, the generation method of summary statistics presented in graphs, charts and tables has been suggested in this study. By utilizing the suggested system and analysis data, librarians can compose various reports on budget or operation of the libraries.
