This study examined the current state of digital libraries in Korean cyber universities and suggested recommendations for improvements. The study conducted a survey and face-to-face interviews with people in charge of managing cyber university digital libraries, and analyzed library Web sites as well as library holdings and budget information available from the university information disclosure. The examples of cyber university digital libraries in other countries were also analyzed. Based on the findings, the study developed guidelines and policies for improving cyber university digital libraries and suggested a hosting-based digital library system. The findings of this study is expected to contribute to enhancing the quality of education in cyber universities.

Air Force library performs the functions of a library with respect to a specific group of Air Force. However, the development of Air Force library is beginning step, its facilities and services are not meet expectations. The analysis of operating status for entire Air Force libraries is so far not attempted. Focusing on this point, this study analysed for the first time evaluation regarding the overall operating status and activation of Air Force libraries at the levels of wing, group and squadron. The questionnaire was consisted of a total of 45 questions. The questionnaire was distributed to 101 Air Force libraries registered in currently August 2014. I was received the reply from 81 out of 101 Air Force libraries, but the responses of 4 libraries were poor, and analyzed the total 77 library responses excluding them. As the results of the analysis, this paper identified operational status and perception of activation of Air Force libraries as a whole, and pointed out the problems that have been identified regarding the operation of these libraries. Furthermore, this paper suggested concretely activation plan for the development of Air Force libraries.

스마트폰 보급의 급격한 증가로 도서관 정보이용환경에 많은 변화가 생겨나게 되었다. 이와 같은 환경변화에 가장 빠르고 민감하게 대응하고 있는 것은 대학도서관이다. 대학도서관은 모바일서비스의 중요성을 인식하고 현재 모바일서비스 구축에 많은 관심을 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 392개의 대학을 대상으로 도서관 모바일서비스 현황을 조사하고, 현재 모바일서비스 중인 대학도서관 모바일 웹 11개, 대학도서관 모바일 앱 10개, 도서관기능을 포함한 대학 앱 87개의 콘텐트 구성을 분석하였다. 현황조사와 콘텐트 구성 분석결과를 통해 대학도서관 모바일 서비스의 향후 발전 방안을 제시한다.

This study is to review the history and general condition of Taiwanese public libraries. The first Taiwanese public library was established in 1901 by Japanese resident and the Japanese government. After Independence and moving the seat of government to Taiwan, public libraries was depressed. But since 1979 public libraries have been increased quantitatively because of the construction of culture center and qualitatively because of growth of publications in 1987. Then Taiwan public libraries was developed very rapidly. There are several advantage, including government library's leadership, professional chief librarian, tradition of field research by librarian, inter-library cooperation system, green library building, and so on.

The main Points of the 7th Education Program are: taking a serious view of development of children's individuality and creativity, and encouragement students their accord activity with applying digital reference for teaching and learning. It Is the suggestion of revitalization method of digital material room, afterward. by means of analyzation for satisfaction and demand and using status of children's library digital material room along with emphasis of self-loading learning and boosting self-solving ability based on computer and IT paradigm. The purpose is : providing foundation of active Information service and suggestion of revitalization method by means of analyzing operation and effective using children's library digital material room at Nowon Children's Library opened 2nd February, 2003. In 2nd chapter; thesis of conceptive model of children's library digital material room. In 3rd Chapter: Present status analysis of N. W. Children's library digital material room operation, and analysis of using and demand of public school 100 pupils. In 4th Chapter : Suggesting conclusion of revitalization of children's library digital material room based on utilization and demand appeared through this study.

The objective of this study was to evolve development strategies used as primary resources for the development plan establishment of public libraries in Yongsan-gu. To reach the aims of this research, this study examined precedent studies related to the status of domestic libraries operation and development plan. This research derived integral factors such as regional characteristics, library facilities, human resources, collections, and budges to be considered for analysis of the current situations. By using in-depth interviews with librarians and professionals, the operational and development plans of public libraries in Yongsan-gu were explored. The findings presented in this study suggested development strategies such as an expansion of library infrastructure and reading culture and development of regional specialization programs and redesign the management system.
